if you use mozilla, the combination of the built in ad-blocking and this extension: http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/more-info/flashblock removes all the ads before rendering

I got 1 Q. Thanks to a word I learnt ages ago from playing scrabble.
and thanks to that making me look at it again, I just got the second one.

OK - I admit - I got my best word - 36 points - by guessing what looks like it should be a word - if they wanted to make this hard thy would deduct for bad guesses - Anyway - up to 671 since I found a q word also (only 8 points)

So they'll take an obscure round tar and skin boat in the Irish language, but they won't take the Irish spelling of "queer?" Oh well.
I need to learn some Q words, because I can't find or think of a single one.

The "u" in "Qu" in not supposed to be optional. It is a bug that I thought I had fixed. I guess I didn't. ;)
although it did allow Q without U, it did score it correctly this time

Oh, maaaan! I leave for a few hours, and look what happens -- the Q and not U thing gets called a "bug" and "fixed." When the qat's away... blah blah blah.
I, too, came back to find I'd lost my one-&-only Q-word, but I reentered, so there! I've been here for less than a week, but this seems the most difficult puzzle.
