Does anyone else have the problem that I have where words aren't allowed, but then someone else has them when you check the word lists. Mine yesterday was 'neep' why not me and why someone else?? Just puzzled??

1:09 am

i don't think i have that problem.. i would suggest maybe making a new account? :\

1:24 am

Perhaps it was only a joke, but someone said certain words are allowed from players in other countries....I guess the word PISH was allowed from Scotland, but not USA. If we're all playing in the English language, how could that be. I've played for just a week, but I notice that sometimes/often a word is not allowed, then goes through, later in the game???

3:30 am

Yes, neep was one of my words too.

4:16 am

What does NEEP mean??

4:58 am

Okay, I found it in the dictionary - it's an obsolete English word for turnips... perhaps the site doesn't accept obsolete words??

That'll be why I was allowed it then - it's not obsolete in Scotland - Neeps and tatties being a popular dish where I'm from.

6:08 am

i don't think the location matters? i've used pish before and i'm in the us..

6:09 am

When I read the definition, I seemed to recall older people in UK calling them neeps.... but not in California, I guess.
