2Bit, you are lucky you made it this far without stitches. My "ER" child (son who had the most mishaps) had his first stitches at 18 months. More at 3. And so on, and so on.

Not well, ruru, unfortunately, but thanks for asking. Trying hard to keep spirits up and not give in to depression but it has been a very hard year and both my patience and stamina are being taxed. Lots of pain, no answers.

I'm gathering that it takes a long time for nerves to regenerate and while that takes place I keep getting these "zings" in various parts of my body that are incredibly painful--luckily, they each only last a minute or so but they keep happening....very disconcerting.

Went to the dr. a couple of weeks ago and put on a pair of pants I'd grown used to wearing---they were LITERALLY falling off me! I still have a closet full of clothes I wore when I was my normal size, so I'll hopefully be able to wear them again.

I made it through. Probably won't get to go to the glass museum tomorrow to see Preston Singletary work, but otherwise I am well and ready for next week (mostly). Will grade papers tomorrow. Was not up to it today.
