Red, I think you'd be better off going to a D.O. A DO is a medical doctor with additional training in manipulation. You get the best of both worlds that way including prescriptions if you need them. Unfortunately, people who go to chiropractors regularly often end up with terrible arthritis that lasts the rest of their lives.

One of the benefits to living here in Phoenix is that it is so dry my arthritis virtually never bothers me.

This has been a horrible year. I would have "attacks" where I couldn't even stand up at all. And this happened over and over, often lasting up to a week each time and in between my legs wouldn't work well. Using a walker now.
You can only imagine how not being able to stand up impacts all aspects of your life.

do any of you have a relative who is pushy about the holidays ? we told my mom we have food to eat for thanksgiving but she said she would give us the money to reimburse us if we would come ot her house for thanksgiving? we don't have any actual plans in fact I think hubby is going to cook. My husband says he think their Is a reason she wants us there? only one of my siblings and his family will be there(they live in same state).
