yes, and this type especially. I use the fair isle technique, so it is double yarns everywhere.
I knitted Christmas stockings like that for the 4 children, used a Scandinavian pattern book though. They are really nice even though I say it myself and will last for years

Had 4 colours in a roll sometimes, spent more time un ravelling the wool than I did knitting

sounds like a real challenge! Usually in fair isle, you never use more than 2 colours at once. But when you use the technique in other projects, it can easily become twisty, I think. They must be beautiful.

I thought you might have work out a way to keep them all separate. The first stocking I did was on a round needle. That was a nightmare trying so sort the wool out so the next one I did on 2 needle till I got to the heel and sewed the seam up
Will look forward to seeing the finished article. Talking of photos, any idea how Don is getting on or hasn't he been well enough
I am working on a round needle too. Not sure how I would manage many colours though. I think I'd make myself a shoebox with compartments for each colour and a hole to thread the yarn through.
he is on the mend, but not alltogether well. No idea if he has had the energy to sort pictures yet.

yes it is a really random list of words. I have grown to love it. Just frustrates me sometimes when real words are not valid. Like internet. But all those weird words I learned from it... priceless. Useless too, but priceless nevertheless.

There are a lot of hours to go yet, plenty of time for junk food lol. I have to eat breakfast, I get light headed if I don't and a bit grumpy too
sounds like a perfectly healthy signal from your body. I have an eating disorder which I have been trying to tackle for years. Recently started going to Overeaters Anonymous, which is definitely helping. I don't notice any reaction to not eating breakfast, but I know that when I do it regularly, the signals and my awareness of them will come back.

My niece was doing the Slimming World diet which is good because you can eat loads of healthy stuff but cut out fat and other stuff you don't need. I was picking her brains and trying to follow the diet. I've been overweight since I gave up smoking in 1992 , The oats etc is one of SW recipes and it is so nice I eat it every morning

A yoghurt on its own wouldn't fill me. I layer oats, fruit and yoghurt in a wide glass at night and leave it in the fridge overnight. Nice and easy the next morning and tasty
