I started listing at 70......quite a nice grid today!

i started the grid last night....was up way too late!
There's nowt wrong with listing Penquis....sometimes my brain just doesn't spot even some of the simplest words! I've learnt now not to stress about finishing.....as long as I try....I do enjoy it!
oh i don't mind listing....i almost always list at some point....i do so when the grid stops being fun for me...
If I don't finish....then so be it....can't handle the stress of it all....so now I just stop!

Yes Ruru, Stress......I have a very competative nature, so I felt for years I HAD to finish the grid, or else I was a failure......
i was doing that too! had to finish, now i'm more relaxed about it
but now I realise there's no need to finish.....its great to get the fireworks.....but if I don't .... what the hell!!
Oh, I have my criteria. I have to get at least half of each letter before I'm allowed to list. Smaller grids I try to finish, bigger grids (around 200 words for me), getting past the half way criteria is enough
i tried to reach 75% before i list
yeah, I'm usually around 75% total by the time I've gone as far as I can on each letter. But getting half way on letters with only 1 word can leave me stuck sometimes
When I played a few years ago there was, in my opinion, too much emphasis put on getting Fireworks......hence the reason I stopped for awhile......but am enjoying it again for now.....
mine is simple: i am not enjoying it anymore.....then i list...

When women put mud on their cheeks, it is called a fa6. Take the last letter off for fa5. Then add plural in the middle for fa6
