still needing the endone about every second day. this arthritis is so painful. no pain from the FM though. perspiration has a few outbreaks, but once it has settled it is usually okay for the rest of the day.
the pain referred from the joints to the muscles is enough to make one weep.
sounds like the FM is really well under control after the infusion. Sorry about the pain though. Yes, arthritis is ugly. Hurts like hell. You better take that endone. Every day, actually.
every night when i lie down is such a blissful time. but then later, the shoulders, hips and the left ankle start hurting.
I hear ya. How about taking an endone every day and a half? At least you will have one relatively painless night every other night.
i am a little concerned about the left ankle. it is the one which the surgeon fused 6 joints. i am guessing that the GP will be ordering ultrasounds and x-rays when i see her next month.
those will not hurt, in every meaning of the word. Let's have it thoroughy looked at, and take it from there.
we have just had Australia Day. non-indigenous people celebrate the day when the first fleet finally landed. our indigenous people, and a quite large percentage of others call it Invasion Day. yesterday there was a protest march by one side, and a parade by the other. no violence. i am so proud of our indigenous people showing the world how to differ without violence.
they certainly have a point there, and how wise to not use violence to make it.

i am so proud of our indigenous people. they have been humiliated beyond measure.it is still an issue as they are not recognised as australians. so wrong.
that is about as idiotic as can be.
i did sweetie. but i do have days when the arthritis does not present with pain. i prefer to take the endone when the pain starts to become too much to bear. i know the difference between the types of pain i feel, and handle each on it's own merits.
okay hun. Just remember that being able to sleep is very important for you too. For the FM, the heart, and to be able to handle pain at all.
i hear you dear friend. but remember this drug , apart from the ketamine and alfentanyl, is the last drug i can rely on.

all good, darling. Talked it over and sorted it out. Also talked it over with my sponsor and she helped me take myself and my feeling really serious, so there would be no resentment left that would make me resort to bingeing.

I guess that is true. I do still need to learn to be more direct in expressing my anger though. Especially when Rob expects me to read his mind or be responsible for his side of things.

no, no, no. you are NOT his mother. HE is responsible for his side of things not you. a harsh lesson to be sure, but it must be learned.
exactly. And I need to learn to be clear about that right when it happens, so that I can be calm and decisive in expressing it, and not overcome with emotions myself. I have to learn to say "Not my problem" in a clear (but tactful) way.

not shocked, but yeah, losing weight might give you a longer life and certainly a healthier one. Doing it slowly but surely is usually wiser though. That way you will lose fat and not just water, and it will stay off.
worzel no shock here. i weigh much more than that.
My problem has always been late night snacking. I can go the whole day without food then I just gorge at night. However I have taken up making Airfix models for my WW Two room (tanks, aeroplanes etc) so that keeps my hands from wandering into the fridge
not eating food all day long CAUSES the night bingeing, worzel. It is called 'catching-up hunger'. If you want to know how that works, I can explain, but all you really need to know is, DO eat a breakfast, DO eat a lunch, DO eat a dinner. And eat a healthy little snack in between meals, and no more eating after 9 pm.
Hey mum here's a thought - how about we both work together and try and lose some weight together? x

Oh if only I was in Australia, Id be in that pool too. I used to love swimming when I wasn't so fat but I could never go to a public pool now - oh the shame!

I know. Di sits there laughing for the most part when he does it but sometimes she cringes. Most of his expressions are sensible but I've taught him to say some other things. It's funny when he gets his expressions mixed up though, he sits there and he'll say "Love you Mummy" followed quickly by "Minge" or "Jeeesus Christ". I know, I know, I'm a VERY bad boy!!!

I'd never had a budgie before I met Di and she's had them her entire life and said only 1 or 2 have talked and even then only a little bit. This one sits there non-stop all day! He's like a hyperactive wind-up toy!

my 91 year old hubby with lots of health issues was in distress yeaterday.. we are under the care of cc home health care. he does not have to leave the house for health care.. they all come here. i called the service yeaterday at 2 pm and within in an hour we had a pa and an rd paramedic team here who examined him
what is cc home health care?
then they talked to his dr and did an exam with the dr wathing by skype and we had a 45 minute session with the paramedics and the md.......
