I hear ya about too busy. My honey took his dad to see dad's lady friend, and now they're with other friends...coming home soon. He'll let me know tomorrow. His dad is fading and wants to see his friends one last time...they're both sweethearts. I've never seen a son and father so close - especially two super stubborn men!

Hopefully on Sunday. Was supposed to be Sat, but I think dad wanted to stay an extra day where they are now - more old friends he misses. Poor hubby, he wants to come home, but this is kinda dad's last hurrah...sad, but he's 92 and fading.
So, let him have fun. He's lucky to have a son who loves him - and I'm lucky to have such a dedicated man, so no complaints.

Cats don't herd, lol! They have minds of their own. I put food out this morning to last them all day, but one likes to hear the food go in the bowl...6 times a day! So he came and fussed at me in the garage while I was trying to do laundry. I went inside and shook the food around, and he was happy. Cats!
I think that is what that expression means, lol. Like herding cats... something impossible to accomplish.
