thanks for the SCs. I have some cream cheese for baking on hand, apropos.

hello everyone :)
Proper noun - who knows? A mountain pass that's the back entrance to Yosemite...
go7
di7/8

Clues are up
thanks lickety !
gr7
ok, nbt/nbs I'm heading to bed. NIght all
Thanks, Lickety
hmm, my di7 doesn't seem to come with an 8
mine just slaps the s on...
then there must be two different di7
for mine hath the s already inside it
blanking on the di 7
what you measure eyesight with
mine's a church area, like bigger than just a parish
Thanks, Hurshy
Thanks, Rasta
Don't hink
brit sp., no less - ty
Don't think I'd've seen either of those
so, to recap, i believe we have called 10 7s and 1 8, is that right?
not sure hurshy -- have 6 and one, but may have missed a 7
Could be - haven't counted and don't have that many 7s yet.
yes - only have one sc 7
sc7 x 2
arcs
yes - one i have is a dogwalker's tool
sorry....
other sc has lots of consonants, think german
that word pairs often with bagels and comes from Yiddish
nbt finally.
or yiddish, as seain points out...
ah- ty seain
P is the hardest for me tonight
Thanks dc
po 8...scottish proverty
woot, well done and thanks grannie
property or poverty?
poverty
sorry poverty
not a term I'm familiar with I guess
i wasn't either but it makes sense linguistically now that i see it
morewords provided me it. i'd never encounterd the term either, but it is Scots based on a quick google
one's remit to the church would be small, is presumably the origin of it
ty hurshy
name that proper noun! hercule
poirot
poirot :)
no wait, that doesn't work in the grid
but yes, ding ding ding
little wishful thinking there
Ah but at least I got it - that po 8 is still baffling me.
my thing about the remit to the church didn't help?
Nope!
I can see 4 letters of a church payment
without money + 10% "tax" paid to the church
yes -- that's the one
so what you're giving is a _____ ______e
Right! didn't bother trying it! Thanks.
lol
So thanks for your clue. It did help - eventually.
Time for a break. BBL. Good luck everyone.
some blank a's and o's, but time for me to crash -- good night everyone, hags, liz
*hagd -- really am tired
Worked for me. Ty hursh
row 4 done, woot

got 'em, thanks grannie
good morning all
WHOOT!!!! welcome back darling. XOXOXOXOXOX
*hugs rose* Hello my dearest friend! Good to be back. Missed ya.
missed you also. how's life in the caravan? still good?
awesome. Just as we thought it would be. Simple. Manageable. And we are doing great together too. No problem at all in living on 6 square meters.
well done... to BOTH of you...
AND.... you finally, obviously, managed to get the laptop working.
it is easy so far, rose, very pleasant
yesssss I did. The laptops weren't the issue, the router was. Finally managed to erase the programmed settings, put it back to factory settings did the trick.
oh, ag5 well done. how is Rob? have some of his issues been settled yet?
Rob is doing better with the new manager. Also started a new therapy and is positive about it. So not too bad. Am not totally happy with how he is doing though, still rather wobbly on the stem and easily depressed.
how are you and Don doing?
getting there. dr john is going to zap the nerves in my back when i go in for my next infusion, 1st April. we now have a new oven.... and work on bringing down the in between wall is moving along well.
finally true progress there! And yay for the denervathingy.
lolll... oh gosh, it's so lovely to have you back. i have a grin from ear to ear. xoxox
same here. Starting my day without my bestie is kinda empty!
will look into accommodations for you today too.
ks killed
okay. could we please have a shared bed? and en suite bathroom. it will be for 28 days.
I have your list of demands in my mailbox, will try and check them all :D
lollll.... ummmm.... did i really demand? prolly i did.
*giggles* as you should, darling. At our age we are entitled to a few creature comforts.
yeah... a loo in the next room is a necessity, not a luxury..
indeedydeed. when we gotta go, we gotta go.
and would you prefer b&b or a hotel?
not sure. they both have good positives. i think a hotel, or a motor inn, with a dining room on-site.
a motor inn, is that a motel?
yes. i wasn't sure what they are called over there.
good, I know what you mean. Will do some research and let you know what I can find.
thanx honey.
my pleasure. I also kept the recipe for the sangria spiker at hand.
as you do...
important, lol.
monkeyed the gr7, woot
42 to go, night all
well done gwen
sweet dreams gwen. xoxox
nn Gwen

gooooo roseeeeee
not diagran, lol
gr7, is a frozen dessert
yummy
I got a religious di7. Di + medic = d**tor + last 3 letters of severely overweight.
ahhhh... wouldn't you think i would have seen that one? thanx much sweetie.
yvw!
oh i have so much to catch you up on. did i tell you Raffaella is going?
nooooooo
oh that sucks, hun
initially i wept. then ever so quietly, i felt it was absolutely right.
it does suck. but perhaps its time for us, as a church, to move forward.
why is she leaving?
she has been offered another church which is in need of her talents. part of the congregation is sudanese, another part is nigerian. and never the twain shall meet...she has the challenge of uniting that church into one harmonious unit. i am very proud for her being selected.
wow, she is absolutely right for that. I am glad she will go somewhere where her talents are needed and will be appreciated. But I sure hope you will get a great replacement...
and yes it does leave my church in a quandary. don is on the incumbency committee. my congregation will have an opportunity to express their wishes re what they would like in a vicar.
until we have a new incumbent, we will have a locum, named by our archbishop.
will you remember to mind your own limits in making the new vicar welcome? Please?
whatever do you mean? *she says, fluttering the eyelashes innocently*
do not try that with me, missy, I know you :D
i really don't want to move to a big congregation. i like knowing everyone by name.
reptitian - richly red reptile
love it !!! put it in..loll
yeah, that suits you to a tee, honey, and you do amazing work. Just take good care of yourself too, okay?
i will sweetie.
i am gonna ride this particular wave right to the shore.
added. Okay hun... you ride that wave. And then step lightly on the beach, none the worse for wear. That way, you won't have any trouble with me. :)
Yeah it surfs you right
roflolllll and there is our ru. *hug* dear man, I hope you are well.
Yes. Hi
next bit of news.... don and i are having to of the grandkiddies over night next weekend. son Simon has been bringing the kids over at least once/week. young Braxton is opening up, and starting to chatter to me, as is Claudia.
am glad.
I am working in southern california right mow
oh wow, rose, that is going so well!
lolll..... g'day dear ruru. how are you mate?
a job to your liking, ru?
ruru, don and i were reading an article about Ice wine. have you ever tried it?
Yes. Many times
It is too weighty for my tastes. But really interesting
very interesting the history of it. apparently Canada has become a producer of it.
Yes inniskilin makes great ice wine
is it more like a liqueur?
i think i saw it is very syrupy.
at the very least a dessert wine, I think
No. More like an uber-rich auslese
Often very thick and sweet
might give it ago then.
we might try one when you are here, rose, and let ru know :D Toasting on his health too.
It is great with chilled lemon souffle
*giggle* A GO...
I can ask Patricia to get us one. She has the liquer store nearby
owns, not has
German ice wine is incredibly expensive
hey sprite. that would be great.
written it down. Will ask her.
oh sprite. i forgot to ask how Terra has adapted to the caravan.
we would have visited her last time, but the street on which her store sits was under repair and we couldn't get there by car. This time we will be able to.
Are u in the little house now?
Terra has only one question: why the heck didn't we do this 10 years ago, lol. He LOVES it. Felt at home right away and enjoys being so close to us all the time.
lovely sprite
not yet, ru, we are in a caravan (or trailer). will be for the next few years, while finding a location, designing the house and building it.
Hi all and hugs, ladies.
*hugs Liz* lovely to see you.
{{{{{lizgirl}}}}}}}} hi honey.
Great that Terra has settled so well.
it was amazing. He knew it as 'home' within an hour.
rose, I love the icon pic!
someone tell roadrunner that meep is not a word
thanx sprite. that is Dan's little girl, Sophia.
It’s taking our new(ish) neighbour’s dog much longer - though it could be that the family’s out all day.
such a sweet pic
Yes, it is cute.
I don’t tend to look at the icons!
that sure makes a difference, Liz, I don't think Terra would like it so much if I were not home most of the day
I found the dog, lol
Dogs love company usually
yeah, pack animals do.
liz... i just had a thought... are you guys hiring a car for the b/day celebrations?
No we’re not.
You?
no... i didnt think so...well... i just thought that instead of dragging Zak across town we could come get you...but i havent spoken to Den.. cos we might just take the train... havent even booked our tickets yet.... ...... ....dont ask
I’ll message you now.
Smart thing to do
lol... forgot about fb...
babble is a good meeting place, lol
It’s fun chatting to everyone.
never a problem to have a bit of a two-way talk here either
Good thing we can all multi chat!

The clues for that helped me.

good morning all. I accepted a friend request from someone I am already friends with on FB. I immediately unfriended the 2nd one and changed my password on FB. Will my account be ok. I also sent a message to my friend asking him if he had sent another request but have not heard back as yet
more snow here but does not look like we got much. supposed to get much warmer later this week
Sorry Peri, I am not a Facebook person. Do they have a help section?
I think so. will check
We had some freezing rain that has turned to rain. And it will be an all day rain event. I'll take rain over snow any day.
raining here now
changed my mind about going to the gym
It's gross to run around in cold rain
Peri, on the FB clone issue: First, search the name of your friend to find the one that tried to friend you. Report that account to FB. Then make your friends list visible only to you, and tell all your friends to do the same thing. You can find out how to do all this by clicking on Help in FB. It actually works.
I just looked up what the Facebook clone issue is. This is one of the many reasons I steer clear of Facebook. Glad they are addressing the problem.
Good morning, all!
good morning judi

*Laughing* Read that as "burn one in the garden" Party on Bea
I don't understand burning in this weather?
I will be back....
To burn off a garden is to set fire to the old plants in order to prepare the soil for new ones. At least I think that is what Bea meant.
