Could be a nasty one. 40 words so far and only now found my first 7: T/32.

12:21 am

Okay, another one: O7/32.

12:23 am

Once you found the ending, they get easier: D7/36, another addiction of mine...

1:23 am

So close to ontogeny. :(

1:25 am

Are there two T7/32? I only have the one that sounds tasty.

1:28 am

O7/32: to dress up, make fancy

1:29 am

Typo: that O must read T, of course. Sorry.

1:37 am

So far I have only one T7 - I see I posted it twice. Not sure if it is another typo or just a temporary blast of insanity. Sorry anyway.

1:47 am

N9/54

2:15 am

A lenghtly speech in a classical language would have made such a beautiful 12...

2:47 am

I really seem to remember thyraton is a word... but not!

2:49 am

omg - another 9! T9/54.

3:36 am

A N8/40 I really liked finding. Comes before the other one.

3:51 am

Goforit, thank you very much! I was really wondering where did would end, but this can be done...

5:54 am

R7/32, measure unit that has come by more often here

6:12 am

Another T7/28

6:27 am

Also another R7/32 - I believe that is the 9th. I'll list the biggies then: 9: N54, T54 8: N40, N40, R/40 7: D36, L32, O32, O28, R32, R32, T32, T28, T28

6:33 am

sprite, may I have clues or the 9's please.

6:33 am

I meant For the 9's. Thanks. It is morning here and I am just drinking my coffee. :)

6:37 am

N9: related to a fertilizer. T9: determining the concentration of a substance in solution I am out of my depth with the Es, have En5, can't find the second. Anyone who could help, please?

6:41 am

I got the T/9. Working on the N/9. Thanks.

6:41 am

a clue for the 8s would be helpful

6:42 am

Got the N/9. Similar to the T/9 except for the first letter.

6:42 am

Also need another i. I have: ik4, in4, in6 x2, io4, io6, ir4, ir5 x2. Total 9, need one more. I am positive I tried everything possible. Can somebody please give me a clue?

6:44 am

I dont have any Is yet

6:48 am

N8: hard to give a hint without giving the word. Related to someone who writes things down professionally. N8: a system of figures or symbols R8: turn, turning

6:50 am

I am stuck at 164 words / 4.93 / 2150 points. Two more words needed. If I counted right, both are 5s. @periwinkle: good morning! It is past noon here, wasted half my day babbling. ;-)

6:51 am

sprite, where are you?

6:55 am

Sprite, if you are still missing that i ... i had a look at the list since i'm not playing .. there's an i5 that neither dictionary.com nor wordfinder knows. ir5 ... Clorophora excelsa ... an african tree google knows it ;)

7:00 am

Goforit, you are an angel! I googled on your definition (is that cheating?) and found it. Never heard of, I am sure. @ Periwinkle: I am from Holland.

7:01 am

Goforit, could you please take a look at that 2nd e for me? Is that also a very weird word, or is it common and am I being dumb again?

7:03 am

personally i dont think anything is "cheating" except looking at the actual word list. Everything else is research!

7:04 am

*lol* Well, I could have done research for that i5 until midnight without finding it, but with your definition it was easy. Thank you so much!

7:15 am

En5 ... it's in wordfinder but not dictionary.com I can't find any english def. Just used in latin phrases. e.g. Occam's Razor: "E5 non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem"

7:20 am

the other En5 is a shortened form of the word for the mushroom Flammulina velutipes

7:22 am

Goforit, you're the best! I found it, it is also a Japanese mushroom (Flammulina velutipes). I should have known it, though... dear Occam. "Plurality should not be assumed without necessity (or, in modern English, keep it simple, stupid)" :-D Thanks again - you should get points for those words you helped me find.

7:23 am

(and it was the mushroom I missed, not the razor)

7:24 am

Don't know if someone gave a clue for the O7, but it means long speech

7:25 am

166 words / 4.93 / 2186 points

7:35 am

that ir word sounds soooo Japanese :)

7:57 am

Didn't Enya have a hit some time ago that sounded like it?

8:14 am

Orinoko flow, I believe.

9:28 am

I realise I might have created some confusion by mixing up the E-words and their meaning. :-( The mushroom is the first word, the one I was missing. (worth 18) The other word is the one in the latin form of Occam's razor. (worth 10) Both are 5s. Sorry if I put someone on a wrong track. Guess I really needed to take a break from the babble grid, but was too obsessed to get it done. *lol*

9:29 am

r/8 - Think of turning

11:24 am

I just found about 10 K words in my big dictionary that Babble doesn't accept - where the heck are the four more it will accept??

11:49 am

Krys10 - It took me a bit to understand your message, as I first read it as having found 10,000 words rather than 10 "K" word. :-D But, I have all the Ks. They are: ki, kn,kox2, kr, kyx2

11:50 am

I only have 2 K words

11:50 am

My goodness, you are an engineer :) I found them all a few minutes after my rant ended ;)

11:53 am

(And thank you for coming to my rescue!)

11:59 am

K words are some of the dumbest words ever. Whenever I see a K, I should know to just start noodling.

12:01 pm

i'm a fan of K words, especially klaxon, but I have a hard time finding them in these puzzles.

12:03 pm

Some really cool V6 words out there!

12:48 pm

I've got several letters where I'm missing just one or two words. Can anyone help? I won't bother yet posting the letters I'm still a long way off of. :) L: all LA - 7,4,4,4,6 O: OK, ONx2, ORx4 (total of 3x4, 1x5, 1x6, 2x7) V: Vix4 (3x4, 1x5), VOx2 (both 6) Y: YA, YE, YO all 4 letters

12:49 pm

LA5/12

12:50 pm

You are missing a Vi6 and a Ye4.

12:52 pm

You are also missing an La6 which is a word I remember from high school Spanish.

12:52 pm

Good one fnurt. I had it with an E on the end, just not that way. :)

1:01 pm

jlm_mi, you're missing an ON6 that is related to your ON5. I've been having trouble with D's - been through the dictionary and I'm only missing one: DA4x4 DA5x2 DA6x3 DA7x1 DR4x2 DR5x2

1:05 pm

Krys10 - Thanks for the clues. I'm missing the same D you are though.

1:13 pm

That ON6 is a funny word. Almost brings a tear to my eye. ;)

1:17 pm

Are the two R7-32's at all similar?

1:19 pm

6 of the 7 letters are the same, but I wouldn't call them similar.

1:31 pm

I'm also looking for help finishing my A's: ad x 1 ai x 3 al x 3 ar x 4 at x 3

1:33 pm

At x4

1:34 pm

Da6 x4

1:35 pm

Thank you thank you!!

1:47 pm

could I have a clue for the L7 please

1:48 pm

L7: from teh Spanish, means a rogue-ish person

1:52 pm

Vi6

2:12 pm

Any help on N Ni 4, 5X2, 9 No 4X5, 5X4, 6x4, 8x2

2:17 pm

2:34 pm

2:36 pm

2:53 pm

Thanks
