2x F8/55 O7/56
H7/40 and T7/28
L7/28
is your H7/40 in plural form? I have one that way
F7/40 F8/55 F8/55 All of them come from one word (F5/16)
I tried parsec's nifty trick with wingdings: BabbleStats -------------- 8... 2 7... 17 6... 49 5... 72 4... 100 ----------- total: 240 ----------- A... 16 C... 27 D... 4 E... 5 F... 26 H... 35 i... 2 L... 25 O... 15 R... 21 S... 26 T... 30 W... 8
wingdings???
parsec was explaining yesterday about how to get an accurate word count from the tangleword solver without seeing the words by accident... cut and paste, convert the whole thing to a dingbat font and then do word counts. tedious, but works!
that soounds rather complicated
True, it's much easier to wait for someone else to do the stats :|
heh you saved me having to type them in krys now i can spend more time trying to find all those pesky t's ;)
"light of my life, fire of my loins. My sin, my soul..." I thought this was no longer solely a proper noun?
Yes, my H7 is a plural.
no sweet lolita... :(
W7/40 curare
F5-6-7, leafy combo S
interesting tidbit. I (jfor no real reason) start every puzzle by doing the boxes for the four letter word. One box has four anagrams using every letter as a beginning. :)
actually it has five =)
Do the F8s and their related F7 have to do with the F 5/6/7 leafy combo? I have that one, but not sure if I should keep looking there for the 8s or move on to another F5/16 starting word.
Doesn't it have 6? For the upper left box, starting with N, you could make: ntfl ntlf nftl nflt nlft nltf if any of them were actually words.
no! F8's have not to do with leafy combo!
Aaah - I hadn't yet found the right 5 letter word to start from. Once I did, it was easy. :)
parsec, how could it have 5? it is only a four letter box. I do not go out of the box. It's just a stoopid thing I do to get started and get some words. :)
oopps Parsec, you are right. I'll be dingle dangled. Thanks :)
f5/7/8 combo. Think lying on your back in a pool.
Eights: both F8/55 Sevens as hinted so far+what we have: F-40 x 2 H-40 x 3 L-28 O-56 T-28 W-40 Still many missing... S
C7/36
7/L/28x2
any clues for the 2Ls please
one L means exactly what it says
I have that one
Just hang around a bit doing nothing and you may find the other.
thanks testing 123
there are c/7/36x2
There is another F/7, too--no definition at dictionary.com. but I'm going to guess it is a really corny inn for boats?
I think we had a similar word once before, but beginning with B. :-D
yeah, we did--otherwise I would never have checked. Ever. So corny.
hello all! just got a chance to log on + it looks like youve all been working hard already!!
there's another L/7/28. it's kind of "sideways."
What a great word to find! This puzzle is so full of words that are just fun to spot.
not doing so great with the 7s and 8s today...course, it smonday and friday all at once! concentration is at a minimum...hehe...
Folks-I'm stuck-I can't get the T words.
I only have twenty Ts cant find anymore
Ta4x5 Ta5x1 Ta6x1 Ta7x1 Te4x5 Te5x5 Ti4x3 Ti5x2 Ti6x1 Still several more to go...
I just found another Ta5 and Ta6 (total: 2 each) Now to try to catch up on the other letters...
oops, and a connected Ta4.
I was missing a couple that you had, but here are some you're missing. I have: TA5x2, TA6x3. TE6
So, berekah, are you saying that you have TA4x6?
yeah. sorry that it wasn't super-clear! :-)
Does anyone have a clue for the second F8?
They're very similar. Same root word. One is just more so than the other I suppose. ;)
Got it...Thanks...I was trying WAY too hard ;-)
any clues for the TE/6 please
Te6: "A pustulelike sorus formed on the tissue of a plant infected by a rust fungus and producing teliospores" It's related to a Te5.
Only one more T to go I guess. Here's another letter I am having trouble with... La4x1 La5x1 La7x1 Le4x3 Le5x2 Li4x3 Li5x3 Li6x1 Li7x1 Lo4x1 Lo6x1 Lo7x1
three x words from the c.
oops there may be more...won't take crax though.
I found another La4 (total 2) other than that, my list now matches yours (except for the Li7...that's going to take some more looking)
Berekah, that Li7 is very exact. You have to interpret it to the letter
I am suffering big time with the c7's. Any help?
All the Ls: LA4x3, LA5x3, LA6, LA7 LE4x4, LE5x2 Li4x3, Li5x3, Li6, Li7 LO4, LO6, LO7 Back in a minute with what Cs I have.
The C7 comes from a C4 /6 that you add a suffix to
Oh, just the C7? Think mining.
That should read C7s - they're related, in much the same way the 2 8s are.
Oh, and I have 4 C words that use the X. :)
O/7/36 part of 5/6/7 combo, meaning sheathed.
