Eeeks! Too many vowels. Found one 6 so far and am glad with it... that is saying enough! *lol*
Okay, make that 2 7s (40 and 28). This cannot be more than a real tiny grid. Not even 30 words yet and I feel like I am halfway...
Another 7/40
sheesh, 25 words, 3x6 so far after 3 huge days this one's tight!
fooooie
Yeah... I like the feeling when I start a huge grid, all those words that come effortlessly at first. This is something completely different! ;-)
Hehe... "more frequently" seems to be a word!
48/571 and struggling :-(
55/640 and completely stuck. Found at least 3 more dutch words, but they aren't valid... *lol* Not much fun, this grid. Back later, to see how many more words I have to dug up. Oooooof!
Pooh! only 34 words, that means there's about 75-80, all told. A cup of tea, and frazzle my brains,, to catch up with Marianne.
Starting this grid was an E5/10.
*lol* It certainly was! Tried to find some more words, but to no avail. I really hope someone will be so kind to do the stats.
sprite - you can rest easy knowing you've found them all. :) 55 words 3x7 6x6 13x5 33x4 2xE 4xF 3xi 2xJ 3xN 6xO 16xR 12xT 1xU 6xW
al I can say is fooooo
Hey, I reroot plants all the time. Hey Babble, what gives?
*roflol!* No wonder I couldn't find even one more word... and believe me, I've tried! 55 words... pathetic. @fit1: I totally agree with you! Don't understand why the R7/28 won't take an R at the end either. Perfect description of me, reorganising where everything and everyone goes in this household.
Sprite, isn't it nice to have finished this stinker and have the rest of the day free :)
If I list the 6 and 7 letter words I'm missing, would you be so kind as to tell me what the others start with? (definitions would be welcome, but I'd be happy with just the start letters). I have: 7/40 O (to run farther or faster) 7/28 R (to send on a different path) 6/27 R (to re-cover the top of a home) 6/27 R (the person who does the above) 6/18 R (in this day and age, a device that connects two or more networked computers to the internet or a network?) 6/18 T (one who sings the praises of something) 6/36 W (a type of speaker for a stereo)
F7/40 more flammable T6/36 coupon offering two items, especially tickets for a play, for the price of one. @fit1: just recovering from a flue, so I had this brilliant excuse to sit behind the pc babbling all day... but it was not to be! ;-)
@ testing: you are a wizard, by the way... to be able to list the words you are missing! ;-D
Thanks for the help, and too true that I would have to be a wizard, wouldn't I! I think this stems from getting almost no sleep all week and then having to get up at 5am this morning and come in to work when I was supposed to take today off completely. Ah, well. At least I had Babble to distract me while I waited for these slow computers. One more E/4/4 to find and I'm done. :)
Put away your pen and you've finished the grid... Hope you sleep well tonight!
Sprite, you are my Babble hero (ine)? Sorry to hear about the flu. I was lucky enough to get a flu shot while in Canada. Here in the ole US of A, it is not an easy thing. Get better soon
Thanks! *blush*
still have the O and F 7-words to find, but working on the 5s and 4s
I cant find the T6/36 coupon
doesnt seem like a real word, if you ask me...focus on the 2
any other clues for the O7 and F7?
I believe it is an informal word. It takes the same ending as the W6. Evanadine's tip is a good one.
For the F7, think of something flaming, more than flammable (though that would work, it's just not as obvious that way). This is flaming more than something else. You might also use it to describe a hot-tempered personality.
YAHOOOO!!! I am done. I can now get a life today.
thanks
thanks for the extra clue, testing! i thought id tried that already...hehe...guess i was on the right path!
now, does the O7 start with "out" (thats the way my briain is trying to go, but it doesnt seem to work)?
Yes, it is a compound word, and kind of a dumb one if you ask me.
hrmmm...all my brain is coming up with is "outrun" but thats neither a word in this puzzle nor long enough. :/
And running you do on...? :-)
I guess Babble has never read Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang, or "fooj" would be a word :-)
I have E/5 10 and and 2 F4s and 1F7 can anyone help with the missing ones.
E4/4 something to put needles in one more F4/7
3 FO4's
I have 3 O5s and 1 O7 can anyone help with the missing 2. thanks
i STILL cant get the O7...am i having a dumb moment?? (ok, a dumb day?)

I have another O5, Treble99.
And an O4.
so close, yet so far! im missing one E, one F, one I, one N, three Os, four Rs, three Ts, and three Ws....breaks down to 3 5s and 13 4s. HRM.

I have the t6 coupon word, but I can't find the other...

Thanks, got it!
I have os 1 4/4, 2 5s/10 ,1 5/16 and 1 7/40 could I please have a clue for the last 05
closest ive ever been to actually finishing! just missing 10 words...hehe...
I need O5, 1U and 1R
the U is the plural form of the female reproductive organ
i need E4, O5x2, O4. i also need an I, an N, 3Rs, and a T - one of them is a 5-letter, all the rest are 4s.
ok, now im down to 1 E4, 2 O5s. also 1I, 1T, and 3 Rs (one of which is a 5-letter, the rest 4s)
The E4 is one that shows up here from time to time. Maybe we can help each other on the Ts: I'm missing one too. I have: ti4x2 to4x5 to5 to6 tr4 tw6
Now the T is the only one left. I know it's a 4, so time to noodle (anyone willing to give me a hint???)
Got it! (it's another Tr) 55 words!! :-)
ben - if youre still working, the last T is another Tr - one means a group of 3, the other means not kosher
This E4 about needles is driving me batty. Any other hints?
elphaba (or would that be elfie?) i havent gotten it yet either! and im STILL missing one I and 3 Rs any clues on those?
any help with a third O5/10? I have the two others that are almost identical. As for the i's, they are 5/4/4 with same first 2 letters
kcbabble: i have the 2 similar ones, and i think there are TWO more. but i dont have them...
I need help with J words. Any definitions would be helpful.
i have one of the j words with no definition j 4 11
peri: the J4 means "the chon of South Korea" and the J5 means "stamped metal token used in card-playing or reckoning accounts"
i have an O4 two O5s and an O6. anyone got any hints on the ones im missing?
Thanks for the definitions. I will keep noodling. I know I will find them. J words are not my forte.
evanadine, where did you find the definition for the j/4 i was just noodling to get the word
i found it just noodling myself...found the definition on another site
evanadine, you are missing an o/7. There is an excellent clue at l:42.pm from Treble99.
evanadine: there's an O5/16 -- "more frequently" according to sprite's clue of long ago, then one more O5/10 which I have a hard time finding :(
evanadine,i'm missing one of the o words too do you have the o/7 means to over take or out run there is a clue earlier
sorry, to confuse, theres no O6 - i have the O7 (i just cant count! hehe)
any clues for the tw6??
I need 9 more. I think I'm giving up
