Nope, 'connatural' isn't there...
A nice 7/36! And now for a break...
And 8/50
heh ... it took me a few minutes to realise your 12:51 am post was a clue sprite
Another 7/36 No s, no d, no -ing... can't be much words, this grid. Not even 200, I'd say.
Hi shortseer! I thought I betrayed myself nicely by continuing to play ;-)
7/44 and 7/36, both Ps.
Hope i haven't made a mistake this time with the stats ... Babblestats 99x 4 30x 5 17x 6 7x 7 (A C N O P P T) 1x 8 (O) ==== 154 ==== A14 C13 E6 F6 i1 L17 M9 N16 o10 P21 R8 T25 U3 W5
Great, shortseer. So much more fun to play with stats. I found this very peculiar N7/36! Entered it just for fun. I thought: if that N6/18 is a word, so is this... and it was! Think of one of the most commercial drinks and then make it a negative.
thanks ... it was very easy to get with your clue
Strange word, isn't it? Bet we will not use the X today either... yesterday's was in there for nothing as well. Looks so promising, with -mix and -tix, but I don't seem to be able to come up with a valid word!
56 words and nothing over a five. :( I'm out of it after not playing in a week or two...
Well i've only got 34 words. But i like to fully finish with one start letter before going on to the next. And the the T's have been a bit of a struggle (just finished them woohoo)
Got to 110 words now. Missed you, runningforhome! No time, or holiday?
It was the end of my school term, so I was much busier than I like to be. Now I'll just be killing time 'til I get to go home for Christmas.
We'll be seeing a lot more of you, then... ;-)
Most likely ;) Does the o-8 have anything to do with an o-6 breakfast food?
Right, A7/36: a delicate needlepoint lace. Had to have a definition for the non-capitalised word, otherwise it wouldn't be valid... :-D
Could be, but only if you have very strange breakfast habits. O7: an ancient Greek beverage consisting of wine and honey
Sorry, you said O8... sigh. Not completely awake, I am. No, no relation between the breakfast-O6 and the O8. You need to think more extreme.
Found it right after I posted my first message. Somehow that always seems to happen.
Yeah, like asking the question makes room for the answer. ;-D
154 words / 4.58 / 1697 Why do I always end up with missing words that I am sure I have entered already? And I was right before, no use for the X again. :-(
any clues for the A7 please
See 01.25 am for a clue. It is a french word, derived from the city that is famous for its lace.
wow Sprite. What a great A clue. I got it immediately
Thanks for the clue sprite
I have a U4/4 and U6/30 any help with the missing one.please

U peeps in the 1000 pt category have way too much time on your hands How do you do it?
:-D My secret: economical use of time and no watching tv.
hey sprite, give me another clue for the 6 letter U word!
I have no U words. May I please have clues?
I am having trouble finding 7 letter words. May I please have clues for the P words. Thanks
BUSH_CHENEY $ FOR PREZ/ 04 no flip flops in the white house Kerry=SKERRY
Found one of the P/7 words. woo hoo!
Are there 2 U6 words
At 03:31 pm Treble99 said... Are there 2 U6 words Yes, both start with the same two letters but the third ones are different. I'm sure they'll jump off the grid any minute.
Taglos, and those two letters would be ----. Honestly, I cannot see any of the U words today.
But I will keep trying.
Up 6 30's Sorry for the delay, went for dinner.
TaDa, Found one of the six letter U words.
Taglos, we posted at the same time. I actually found the word before I saw your post. Now I need to find the other two.
hehe I do that quite a bit :) The third is a UL4
found the 2nd U/6. Yea for me. Noodling does pay off.
I found the P7 meaning a subdivision of a company of troops. May I have a clue for the 2nd P7 and also the T7. Once I have these I will have all of the 7 letter words.
Pa7 / 44 A small inflammatory elevation of the skin.
well, they did not jump off the grid :(
fit1, the u6 words are compound words. I found them by noodling.
Taglos, the P word I am thinking of has an S in the middle. Am I on the right track, I do realize that there is no S in this puzzle. .
Taglos, I found a P6 that fits the definition you gave for the P7. I cannot seem to make it seven letters. Any hints.
Thanks Peri, got the U6's and one u4. That completes the u's. Big whoop :)
Peri, RRRRRRRRR try another letter on the p6
fit1, Thanks, don't know why I didn't try that letter for the end. Can you help me with the U 4?
Glad you got that done, was working on the T7, see the 12:51am post for the clue For the UL 4, the last two letters are ususally used in the reverse to name a bone.
I wish 'epitaph' would stop pretending it's in this grid!
Grrrrr my last word is hiding from me. Process of elimination says its a P6 33
didja ever feel like you were spinning your wheels? I have 85 words, and I am plumb stuck :(
oops, that's 95 words, but I'm still stuck
