I thought you were saying the word wasn't yours - that somebody gave it to you

11:05 am

11:06 am

I always get the female genital one - I had a student with that name who I really disliked, so it all works out well.

11:15 am

I diocese what you did there

11:15 am

(bad puns day)

11:15 am

We need the fries hat Pope icon back

11:16 am

omg, can't believe I missed that. thx, vicuna

11:17 am

11:26 am

Aw, you all just love to monk-ey around.

11:26 am

parish the thought

11:26 am

11:44 am

if you finished yesterday it was in there, molasses

11:45 am

11:46 am

We visited there (the towns too). Favorite place was Louisa May Alcott's home. Funniest was Sleepy Hollow cemetery. I spotted several graves with family names and joked with my husband, oh look! We laughed it off. A few years later I got into genealogy and ... WHOA! Turns out I'm a direct descendant of one of the founding members of Concord. LOL!!

11:46 am

my clue was molasses. ends in thing houses and cars in the south can't live without.

11:47 am

th7 weird one to clue, but somebody earlier said it ends in short for what we need in the heat

11:47 am

first four letters of temperature taking device + vowel + carla's last two letter clue

12:42 pm

fw! Night all :) Unless anyone needs a clue?

12:44 pm

ah yeah, that's a word

12:44 pm

tx to both of you

1:00 pm

Not a word most people know

not even dictionary.com knows

1:09 pm

po5: an armadillo, Euphractus sexcinctus, native to South America and characterized by its six moveable bands

1:10 pm

po 5,18 - the one the dictionary does not know - ugh! But the list knows cuvee and raita and they are not recognized. I was happy to find cuvee. Thanks for the definition of po5 Hurshy

1:13 pm

cuvee and raita were added in later versions of the dictionary

1:16 pm

Sometimes I feel like people are posting in a language other than English here.

ugh, an amazon package says USPS tried to deliver this morning but was unsuccessful and now they're holding it per my request. none of that is true. and they didn't leave a note or anything so I don't even know when it is supposed to be available for pickup and I have to go inside the PO when I do.

this was the 4th out of 4 curtain rods I ordered all at the same time and they each shipped separately. got 3 the other day, each in a box big enough to hold 10 or 12.

I guess I'm never seeing the 4th

2:01 pm

Carla - My amazon package delivery alerts say the same thing...it usually means the package arrived at the local PO and will be delivered by the postal worker the next day :)

th 7/36 please?

2:04 pm

not here + hypocondr***

yeah, it has to be something screwy like that, angela. no way were they actually here this morning and no reason they wouldn't have been able to leave it. no signature required, no dog in the yard.

thanks Dorens, thats fw for me :-)

I wasn't going to head to the PO today anyway, I did that once before and it was still on the truck that supposedly tried to deliver. that's why it's nice when they leave an actual note saying when it's available to pickup.
