well, I haven't actually done any sewing yet this a.m. put some HTV (heat transfer vinyl) on some shirts for our family PJs. I started buying them a few years ago because I think it's funny to make the boys wear them. but I waited too late this year so have to make them.
couldn't even find fabric for the bottoms, so I bought a king size thermal blanket at walmart and will use that.
but I'm also making some lounge pants for my mom and am cutting those out right now. finished one pair already. now have to change all the thread colors in the serger and coverstitch machines.
that's quite the commitment to making your children suffer

Fabric is so expensive here now that it doesn't really encourage me to sew much -- it costs more to make something than go out and buy it. Just about fell over when I went to get Christmas fabric for the masks --- anything that had a tight enough weave for masks was $18/meter (39")
