The resorts here in CO were one of the first hotspots in the US, but they've got some pretty strict guidelines in place now which have made it spread much slower this time...plus we've had less snow this year, so that also deterred people
our local ski hills are supposedly closed to all but local skiers, but the tourists still come anyway and they are not being turned away, which is very annoying.

me either, but wow, yesterday's PD was ROUGH. the admins are so flipped out about all the kid's failing that they want us to do things like not grade missed work, only record completed assignments, or excuse stuff. How on earth does that give an accurate gauge of how well the student has accessed the curriculum, exactly?
I've heard of teachers in AP courses being forced to give 10 extra points for participation on final grades
