I'm sad. :-( I didn't get to do much of the other puzzle because of internet went out on me! Hope it was fun. looked like it. There were a lot of words.
haha, i didnt get to do much of the puzzle either, but it was because i was in stupid mode tonight... i only got about 90 words... hope everyone else did better!
Yesterday's was fun, but this doesn't look too bad either. :)
it's interesting so far. . . wish I had some stats. . I have 46/4.33/420 so far.
Just started, so I have nothing to offer yet (7 words). Sweet grid, though... sweet taste(s) and sweet color(s).
hehehe :-p Good Luck.
46 words and only now found my first biggie. 7/36.
50 words but haven't found anything over 6 yet!
M7/56 (jewish plural)
Got 100 words now and only those 2 7s I mentioned. Forgot to say that the singular of the M7 is also in the grid: M5/20. It is not a big grid, I think, but I really like it; interesting words.
Stuck for some time now on 126 words / 4.53 / 1358 points. That's probably not all, but I'll do a wordcount like yesterday, of the words I found so far. Back later to hunt the ones I missed, with your help! count so far: A--11 C--3 E--1 F--9 G--9 H--17 J--1 L--8 M--14 O--1 R--10 S--17 T--22 U--3 ==== 7 x 2 6 x 11 5 x 39 4 x 74
Herr and Frau are both there but it won't allow either of them!
the Jewish plural (M7/56 to which Sprite refers is the people who perform ritual circumcisions.
That's right, fit1. I wasn't sure defs were already welcome, so I kept back a little. :-) Any additions to the list yet?
Sprite, I am not sure when people start giving definitions. Did I jump the gun? Sometimes I see them right away, and sometimes I just see numerical values. Is there a policy?
I appreciate definitions anytime, it is never too early for me :)
Well Peri, I really just started the puzzle, and sprites m/7/56 was the first I went to. I am not sure it will be an easy word to find for people not familiar with it.
I have C4/8 and C5/18 can anyone help with the 1 I am missing. Thanks
there is a c4/6
Sprite, you are only missing an M4 -all your other stats are correct. :)
any help on the other 7 word? I finally got the m7/56
Fit1, I am not sure either. It is just like you say: sometimes there are defs from the start, sometimes just values. When there are few biggies, or at least seem to be, I tend to wait a little longer than when we have something like yesterday, with over 20 7s. :-D I just wanted to let you know I am happy to share whatever I got, as long as no one thinks it is spoiling the fun. Milly: thanks! Now off to hunt that M4... won't be easy to find, unless I have been blind this morning. Has someone finished yet, so we would know the final point score? That would be a big help! ;-)
Shanea: the other 7 starts S and is worth 36 points. Can't think of a clue that doesn't give away the word, but it would be something like "more snakelike".
sprite, great clue, got it.
wow--if it'd been a snake, it would've bitten me..lol Thanks, sprite!
Okay, found it by noodling. Now I see it, I seem to remember we have come across this one before. It is the only M4 worth 9 point and it takes a rather uncommon second letter.
Which, for the stats, brings us to 127 words / 4.53 / 1367 points.
