Hah! found my first nine! S9/72: think about windows or cameras, then add a suffix.

oo, but the o9/60 (and related 7 and 8) deals with being louder.
parsec, you did help with the 9 with the camera clue. Look at your word count again, and thanks for the clue
I have 1 08/40 can you give a clue for the other 2 it might help get the 09, no definition for the 1 I have.
Treble 99, there are at least 15 words that start with those three letters. For the long ones, just keep looking for verbs to stick on the end and conjugate.

Christine are you playing well my Daughter in Law and I are 1 & 2 on the rankings. I dont know how they work it out as I have not been playing much lately.
It is 6:16 pm here and I just got home from work. There is no way I will finish this puzzle. But I would appreciate some help since I am getting a late state. Would someone be willing to give hints for the 8 and 9 letter words. I do have the s/9/78, the b/8/55 and the b/8/50. Help with the others would be most appreciated.

I'd love hints on the big O's. (that sounds bad, but you know...)
Anne: they all begin with the same 4 ltrs 1) ranks more highly 7/8 2) more literate 7/8 3) makes more noise, like a large wild animal 7/8/9
O 7/8/9 combo - to make a louder noise . Most of the longer O words start with the same three letters ( a simple everyday word) try adding this word to almost anything and you will get more word.
