I found an 8/40 starting with R. There aren't very many long words today (that's a clue as well as my opinion!)

I just got those two words by noodling... thanks! I got the singular on the second try which is unusual for me :) Choose likely letters to come to that total and that's the word. For the plural, add 's' :)

Dififcult to give a clue without giving it away... it starts with the R that's next to the U, and is a plural but the singular isn't in the grid.
Does anyone have start letters for the 6s? I have the e now, and I have an s, but that's all. I see there are nine of them!

Is the A word a common one?
periwinkle: the A word, in lawyer speak, is a shorthand (plural) of a form of dispute resolution. not sure if it has another meaning.
