tastefully stylish
w/7/44 "desire of the young?"
ooh, I'd rejected that as not even plausibly a word...
time out at 95/902: somehow I feel there will be more to come tomorrow.
It's 95 for 849 for me. G'night...
toady's stats: 9 1 8 1 7 4 6 15 5 56 4 80 total 157 a 22 e 10 g 18 h 5 l 21 n 3 o 2 p 8 q 6 s 27 t 20 u 4 w 11
P9/66 - and why isn't the singular valid?
s8/45
157 words / 4.68 / 1684 points should be it, then.
I just noodled for the w7 and got it. WOW. Noodling for a 7!!!!! My day is complete :)
Can I have a clue for the S8 please.
s/8/45 A way to satisfy your w/7/44??
Jan, what a cute clue for that word :)
That's it, I'm trying that suffix on everything!
parsec, I think I've already done that. LOL. hasn't worked
I cant find the S8
s8...what a burglar does with a suffix added.
sautee?
incender, try a different spelling :)
Can anyone please do a list of the 6s. Thanks
i only have 2 six-letter words: e - 21pts - baby of the bird (e/5/12) g - 21pts - gathers bit by bit
Could I please have a clue for the p9?
a woman's undergarment
p9 - mid-19th century fashion
s 6 what a soldier does l 6 smallest amounts
q6--an amount
I have E7x2 and W7x1 any help with the missing 7 please.
p6/24 (plural of p5) - flower part it sounds like a more familiar word though
9 of the 15 6s (including those mentioned already): A/21 - shoelace holes E/21 - baby bird (specific kind) G/21 - gathers bit by bit G/21 - inflammation of the urethra resulting from chronic gonorrhea (pl) L/18 - minimum amounts L/18 - the second phase of the menstrual cycle P/24 - small chafflike bracts enclosing the flower of a grass (alt.) Q/30 - amounts S/18 - what a soldier does
u/6/27 member of a European horse calvery
t/6/18 - a type of cough, looks like a mis spelling of a type of fight <G>
I cant find the U6 or the P6 flower, I have the P5 but cant get the 6.
another hint for U6: lancers
The U6 is plural, and knowing the point value makes it easier to find. If you have the P5 and can't find the P6 then you must have a different P5 than I have, as the P6 is just its plural. I am missing 1 P word, so maybe it is the P5 you have.
I have 2 P5s, just differing in the last letter
fancy that, the 2 P5s have the same meaning :)
I have 4 p/4s as well as the two P5s that have the same meaning and one P6 which is the plural of one of the P5s.... But I'm still missing one :(
wendrie: do you have the P9 (see log at 12:21 pm et seq)
thanks svejk! I had not tried that as I thought it needed two Ls... :)
I've got both e7 and the w7 - but can't locate the fouth 7...
The 4th 7 begins with Q.
The rest of the 6s: 21/G - anatomical structures shaped like a helmet 21/G - no def. but a guess is something which causes something else to solidify 18/S - small columns or pillars used as milestones 21/T - four-wheeled Russian wagon
May I please have a clue for the Q/7?
The base of the Q7 is a Q5, then a Q6 adds a letter and the Q7 adds a letter to the six. hs to do with amounts.
testing thanks very much for all the clues.
Thanks, found the Q/7
Thanks to everyone who helped with the clues.
Can't find the W/7.
the w7 is desire for something
Thanks, found the W/7. Didn't think that was a word. I can't figure out the Babble dictionary. The singular version of the P/9 is definitely a word and Babble will not accept it.
I only have 10 A words. :(
