S7/36
2 x S7/36 that is
P7/40 - 8/55 combo
and a P7/36 - 8/50 combo as well
O7/52
And a very nice A7/36. Am I really the only one playing?
Some monologue :) The A7/36 leads to an R8/50.
hello sprite! i just verified my own stats and yours are OK (even with the Q)
Great, Ste, that means the statmaker works! :D
S7/40: a hard green cheese made from skim-milk curd, colored and flavored with sweet clover. Appeared in a grid before, I believe.
Where do you get the stats from?
Cheese and irish whiskey. Sounds like a party
s8/40 a stricture
Xanika: the stats are made by copying the results of an online boggle solver into a textfile, changing the spaces into semicolons and then running the file through a statmaker. By keeping something over the words and by using the same fontcolor as background color, I made sure I did not see the actual words. Another way is copying the results of the solver, changing the font into Wingdings and then count by hand.
in looking for the O/7/52 I found an O/7/44 freshwater trout.
testing: look for the plural of impenetrable by light; neither transparent nor translucent.

Thanks - I found it right after the other O7. :)
sprite, would you give defeinitions clues for the 8's?
whoops, the S8 has already been hinted - sleepy Californian becoming aware of her surroundings :)
I can do one too: P8/55: (pl) an ideal or a model of perfection
any other clues for the freshwater trout?
help!
Would the starting letter help
yes
O
thanks
Any other clues? I think we already had the starting letter...
How about the second letter??
any one need help?
Q
next letter
got it, thanks!
any one have clues?
For the o8 -a freshwater trout found in Western Maine, also the name of a lake in Maine.
thank you
any other clues
taylor - Sometimes you have to accept that you may not find a word. Too many clues spoils the fun of the search. ;) And maybe you'd feel better using resources on the web to help in your search. Certainly with the clues you've been given you could find the word that way, no?
If you do a google search for scrabble word lists, you will find lots of resources. I use them quite a bit. But I love clues for the big words, too.
There's always the old-fashioned way - reading the dictionary! (Or am I the only dork who does that?)
I read a book about a man who read the entire set of encyclopedias. I would like to do that, too. I might know some of these words, then...
Does anyone know - are there two 7/36/P?
Yep, there are. And a 7/40/P. Two of the 7/P words go with 8s (the 40 and one of the 36s).
Oh good - I have one 7/36 and no idea how it could combo into an 8!
Sorry, I was gone and did not see the question earlier. R8: the state of being deeply engrossed or absorbed P8: plural that keeps the sun away
Krys10: no, you are not the only one! :D I love dictionaries, encyclopedias and such. Got quite a few links to pages like that in my favorites.
The r8 definition doesn't seem to connect to anything for me, it does go with the r4.
It can take a suffix as well. Perhaps you have the A7/36: a disposition to behave in a certain way; appropriateness. You can build on that one as well for the R8.
Ooh, those were good clues!
yes, they were. Thanks. I was looking right at it, but my brain was not computing.
I'm going bonkers trying to find my last two words - pretty sure one is a P6... so far I have PA6 and PO6x2 - anyone know what I'm missing?
Yep, a Pt6. Drove me crazy as well, until I browsed the IRL dictionary. ;-) Abnormal lowering or drooping of an organ or a part, especially a drooping of the upper eyelid caused by muscle weakness or paralysis.
ah, thought i covered all the Pt's! Thank you!
To Anyone Interested: I just saw the next to last post from yesterday's puzzle...'beefmint,' THAT'S hysterical :) :) :)
*lol*
*beefmint* I couldn't believe Babble wouldn't take it! :P
Ah, won't take 'pogo'
