If Summerhill isn't on your list it is an interesting place to take a tour -- they age their wines in a pyramid built entirely of natural materials. I don't know what difference that makes, but apparently it does -- their wines win lots of international awards (also, unfortuneately, quite expensive)

Anything south of Penticton is a little far -- I should send you a wine map -- there are so many estate and farmgate wineries that make good wine and never see on tourist info websites.
the owner of the house thought I was nuts nan renting it so early, but so many people were looking at the house I didn't want to lose it
i would be up to going some distance but i think my compatriots don't want to spend hours on the road and would prefer to stay relatively close to home base
PeTnticton is 40-60 minutes, depending on the traffic. A lot of the winers there are on the Naramatta bench (east side of the lake) and there are several between Kelowna and Pentiction in the Summerland area.

Right now I'm pretty disillusioned by our restaurants. They lost a lot of staff during covid, including chefs, who have not come back and it shows.
