lol yeah. I can vividly recall the first time I was at a party with all my friends, after one of those kind of nights, and suddenly feeling that going home and to bed was the thing I wanted most in all the world!
for me, it was at work, went home at 1, and was afraid of falling on the tracks in the Metro on the way home. Happily, short wait for bus at the train station, I was not up for walking that day.

we have a drinkwater warning here in this area. Which is really weird in this country with its perfect water. But they found E.coli traces, so we are boiling all drinking water, especially for the dogs. And bottled water, which we usually do not have to buy at all.

it sounds like i will not. a blood test i was told on tuesday morning would take about 24 hours, now i'm being told the results may take "a couple more days" and basically nothing else can happen until those results come in

it's not MEDICALLY scary, it's just i'm supposed to be starting a sort of internship on monday and now i can't because even though i obviously don't have TB, i can't PROVE i don't have TB, and i'm meant to do a certain number of hours per week, and i don't know how that's going to happen if everything keeps going wrong

well there's a skin test but the medical person said i might as well have the blood test one instead since i had to have other blood work done anyway
and apparently they can run like 3 different kinds of blood tests and in this case they seem to have chosen to run the slowest one, after telling me it would be 24 hours

well i mean if you're not doing it INTENTIONALLY... like if you've known someone for years and you are used to saying "she" and it's hard to switch to "they", like it may bother a person but they know it is challenging. it's more the people who think you cannot be trans, that you just have to stick with your gender assigned at birth, and are using the wrong pronouns on principle. i think usually people can tell the difference. esp cause in the former type of case, one corrects oneself and apologizes and stuff

I think most people who complain about pronouns don’t actually know anyone who they’d accidentally use the wrong pronouns with. A lot of it is fearmongering, wave trans and gender issues around like a red flag in front of a bull to distract from real problems. It only becomes a problem if you’re misgendering someone on purpose.
