Hi all, here's my first post after discovering this site a few days ago. How fitting that I should find the n4 that describes myself (and just about anyone dong this game) just as I am about to quit for the night! Hope I can stop in tomorrow -- just 1005 points, 92 words so far, but there must be a lot more. I'm just loopy tired, and with no stats or hints, I'm not going much further without sleep. Ah, you're going to keep me up a little longer to save (some) face -- now 105/1215. But as a newbie, I don't know all those pseudo-words one would never use (or even know, if one didn't play these games) -- so I'm not getting any 173 crap tonight! Kudos to you.

the stats for the R's werent listed below -- but if we go with a grand total of 173 words (does anyone know if thats right?) then there are 12 R's
has anyone yet worked out the breakdown of stats based on word-length?
I tell u,I don't know how people find every word in the puzzle everyday.The days I find every word I work a whole day to do so.:))
Some of the stats listed below are incorrect so I will list the stats my hubby found: C-8 D-16 E-13 F-30 I-2 N-13 O-4 Q-8 R-12 S-46 T-15 U-8 ---------- 8-4 7-6 6-38 5-52 4-75 ---------- 175 Total Words
I am thinking that 173 is correct...I can only find 7 Q words, and I know that many of the solvers out there don't take into account that the q already has a U with it. Since there is another U next to the "Qu," it causes the solvers some confusion...but if someone finds an 8th Q word, I am all ears.

No, I only have 7 Q words...I am saying I don't think there is an 8th.
ok 7 is correct my hubby checked again and the quai will not work and that was the 8th.So there are 7 q's and 74-4 letter words with 174 total words!
Are there any other words containing "qua" that would be taken out as well?
ok and the extra s on hubbys stats is incorrect also they had suqs which would not work either so that would now be 45 S's and total of 173 words : 8-4 7-6 6-38 5-52 4-73 The Qu always throughs us off!!!
no leef , he said it is only showing 1 qua word and it is the quai he already mentioned.
so atleast 2 of u have already found the 7 Q letters words right>?Was wondering if hubby needs to check anything else before he takes off.

Yeah, Wilson, I agree -- it's amazing how people find every word every day. No doubt some of these people are geniuses, but many must be using something digital as an aid -- which is fine, of course, but not necessarily indicative of genius. I'm actually glad there are people who find every word, because I like to see the breakdowns and hints. Being a mere caveman, I am fairly sure I could NEVER get every word on one of these without the breakdowns and hints provided by the people who do. No digital aids for me, though -- call me John Henry, except that he beat the steam drill and I admit I can't beat a computer.
Boy, just when you think you're a smartass, somebody comes up with a puzzle like this. Thought I was doing great with 84 words...until I saw that was less than half. Now suffering heartbreak of inadequacy. 'pout ' 'sniff '
P.S. I feel slightly better since I do have all the "q" words. The e's are killing me though. Only five so far.

Thank you both Vin and Tedybeth, got it. I got a late start today, amd working backwards, and just finished the S's. going for the R's. 111 words so far. Too many left, don't think I'll finish tonight.

Yeah, got the N8/45 just looked it up in the dictionary and it means: clam worm. Never even heard of it before.
