I just ran wordracer and it gave 301. Previously it has mentioned that it is not always correct. I used it because it is the only solver that I know of that has the total at the bottom so that you don't have to see the list of words. If anyone knows a better solution I would be happier to use it next time.

I examined the words in yesterday's puzzle. I still don't understand how 2HOTT used PEEPED. I thought that you could not repeat letters that you already used. I don't see any extra E's near PEEP. Can someone explain to me how this works? Thanks
if you spelled it backwards you could have peeped

I learned a new word in yesterday's puzzle: wendigo. And today I am reading a mystery and the people in the book are talking about a wendigo. What a coincidence.

The book is: Hanging by a Thread by Monica Ferris. The heroine owns a needlecraft shop. You don't have to like or do needle work to like her books.
I've read two of her books, don't remember which ones, though. They were good!

Gail, I recently read: Murder is a Girl's Best Friend, a Paige Turner mystery by Amanda Matetsky and Cross Your Heart and Hope to Die, a Blackbird Sisters Mystery by Nancy Martin. I enjoyed both of them.

Both y's that I have start with the same 4 letters. Think what a cowboy would say instead of "over there", he would say "over ...."

Found the n/7/36. No wonder I had trouble finding it. It is a variant spelling. Never saw it spelled this way.
