Yep, I was up at the crack of dawn, as usual. Tropical storm Cindi is making today a washout here.
I think the ads are a pain in the butt they slow me down alot !!
By the time the page reloads, I've forgotten what word I want to type in! Well, maybe not that bad...

For the A words, you have to think of planes, balloons and dirigibles. Oh, I love the word dirigible!

Four of the big A words are based on an A4/4 that means atmosphere.
Still can't find any of the long A words :(
Gail, I figured out which A/4 to use but have trouble with the second parts.
The A8/40 - A9/54 are craft that get their bouyancy from the surrounding air, like balloons or blimps. The other A7 - A8 words are very similar.

Aha! I just found an S7/28 - the natural height on a human or animal in an upright postion.
Yep, that S7 gives me 18 7 letter words.

Darleen, if you take on of the t's out of the A8/9, you will get the A7/8. There is only one 9

Peri: I need the clue for the s7/28.plese. s7/36 - a shallow basin in a desert region, contains 'stuff' deposited by evaporation. s7?36 - pl. of 6/24 - a ruler, ancient Persia; subordinate bureaucrat. s7/38 - place to keep stock of supplies for future use. [like hurricanes!!]

Thanks peri: r8/75 adds one letter to the end of r7/56. based on a 4-letter 'w' word having to do with being brought into a state of awareness.
There are 4 eight letter words, I have 3. 2 A words and a W word. What am I missing?
And Gail is my sister & 'mento' at Babble - her clues are so good!!! She lives way in the northeast & I live way down in the south east [FL] - so we don't get to babble together except like this!!! :-)
