To give you some idea there is roughly 216 words and 12 of them are 7+. the website is never quite spot on to the stats however and I was squinting. Still it gives you something to go on.

In the words of Rolf, do you know what it is yet???
I think I got the Y/5 26 already and didn't realize it. If there's only one, then yes, I did. :-D
*shrugs* I think this is one of my off days. :-P
I know exactly how it is when you can't see for looking, I still can't get the C/7 52 humph
Darn. I haven't gotten that one either. But my 1st word I got an A/7 40 and was very proud of it. :-D

Well done Boo and good luck for the rest byeeee 4 now.

Any of various plants of the genus Atriplex, especially A. hortensis, having edible, spinachlike leaves
Thanks, muchly. Are there any 9-letter words today?
c6-33 x 2. One means to understand. The other means to unduly influence.
Judi, is the unduly influence 33 points, or 30?
another T6/33
One C6 is 33 the other is 30. Sorry about that. A better definition of the C6-33 is "what items do when they stick together (as with glue or adhesive).
the C6/30 I have is the first stage in the development of a butterfly
Okay, I give up. What's the clue for the T6? I have the one that means hamlet.
LOL. A5 - Geshundheit!
recently the true identity of "Deep---" was divulged!

T8 - the ruler of a government ruled by or subject to religious authority P8 - stem, or footstalk, supporting the fruit
Thank you.
That C7 - basket thingy is driving me nuts. Can someone expand on that clue a little?
Yes. The basket thingy is making me nuts as well.
i'd never heard of it before . . . i'd suggest further noodling . . . . there was no definition per se but I found it in an online store selling baskets made of different materials such as rattan and willow.
Never mind. I finally got it by noodling.
C7 hint: It starts with a chocolate bean and ends with another three letter word for a flat pad.

can't find the last "b"--i've got 2 each of 4, 5, and 6 . . . a hint, please?
I have 2 T6 words, but neither means hamlet... still trying to figure out the hamlet one!
it's the plural of your T5 meaning hamlet
assuming you have a T5 meaning hamlet! :)
I do now! Thanks, U
there are 3 bx5's, a hat, a pin and the common term for the multitudinous ghosts and demons of various kinds by whom the Indian peasant is so constantly beset.] hope that helps

What's really bugging me is this 07/32. Is this word part of the taxonomic name for this critter? Any other clues?
found the B word but sure don't remember it--must not have gotten it before
Any of the large predacious winged insects of the order Odonata, which includes the dragonflies and damselflies, characterized by long brightly colored bodies, two pairs of membranous wings, and large compound eyes.
o7...yes and this....which includes the dragonflies and damselflies, characterized by long brightly colored bodies, two pairs of membranous wings, and large compound eyes.

Man, that c8 is giving me 50 fits.

fit1: if you're still looking for the C8 - I used isabell's clue posted at 1:43 pm; copied it and pasted it in google search. It's a variation spelling
Wow Tedybeth, thanks. Googling did it. :)
C6/45
Anyone have any further clues to offer on this B5 Indian ghost or demon? Researching this has yielded much of interest, but not the B5 itself!
Doogle - think of the sound an owl makes and add a letter. I got it from copying the definition baggo gave at 4:20 pm [starting with "common..." and then pasteing it in a google search. It came up in the 'title' of the first site at that time.
Thanks, tedybeth. I'd found a reference to a very similar word, but not that one.
you're welcome :-) --- boy am I stupid. I lived through 3 1/2 hurricanes last year, and I'm sitting here watching the weather station do storm stories on hurricane Charlie ---- aarrgghh!
