Nice work, GingerUK! I am dutch and was taught the british spelling, but US spelling is what we see most on TV and such... so I get confused sometimes and just enter anything that looks remotely like a word, LOL.

Finally got the 9. I'm American and it still jars me to see things spelled that way! Maybe it's because I spent some years in the Netherlands growing up.

Hi Denny, been looking out for you! I fixed the problem by refreshing on the babble home page before logging in. Also wiped off babble address in my favourites and started again. Hope this helps :)

Good! I couldn't have played with the screen all funny like that either. Was very relieved when I managed to fix it but must say my computer is "cleaner" than it's ever been! :)

Yep, still have everything centered. Although the format is next to impossible to read, the larger text is much easier. Firefox is a great browser, but all my mail and other bookmarks are on AOL. So, I endure.

That's odd. The U8 is a word but minus the last letter it isn't a word. I would have thought it would accept both.
I've been out sick for a couple of days, so I'm just now seeing the changes to the site. On the whole, they're great, but I'm not such a fan of limiting the chat log to the most recent 50 entries - for those of us who log in later in the day, we can't see the word list, nor can we take advantage of the earlier clues. Is there any way to access the older portion of the log?

I think "un" words, at least in a verb form" are only valid for actions that can actually be undone.
jrs - you can see the whole log if you change to show all chat in the dark green line under the word Chat Log

No matter what I do, I just can't get Babble to get uncentered in AOL. Tried rebooting, refresh, log-in, clear cache, refresh. Gonna go back to playbabble and see if it works better than beta. That grid was a doozie today!

Yesterday someone else was having troubles with AOL. I think their solution was to run babble in internet explorer without using AOL.
Judi you can see all messages look at the dark green line that has Last Refreshed on it, there is an option to look at all meessages or last 50 messages you need to click on all messages

Dr_God the improvements are great. I work in a psychiatric hospital and playing Babble helps keep me sane. Everyone there knows not to ask me anything until I have my puzzle run off. Love this game.

You can get clues off the chat without joining - but to get the letter grid, you have to pay $9.95 lifetime fee (I think)
