I'm a lady of a certain age, living in Essex. I spend my days looking after my now 14 year old granddaughter - when she isn't at school, thinking about doing the housework and babble. I also design and make entirely by hand, silk patchwork quilts. Then, I'm a cricket scorer, which I love. I figure it all helps to keep the cogs in that thing I think of as a brain, turning.

Been playing babble since 07Aug 2005, usually lurking in the background and chipping in now and then with my two pennyworth!
