Morning dear gang!
morning sprite!
morning sprite
Hello sprite!!! ((**HUG**)) Niamh relayed your reply for you!!
This isn't the first incident with him. he has put me through hell. I thought I was done with all this with him.
woof all
Hi Griff!! (*Hug*)
morning all
*big hug for Woulf* And *hug* for all who want one. WTG of Niamh :) Mama, great to see you... but you have trouble? I am so sorry to hear that. Griffs :D *big hug* How is the vulcano behaving, and the wind?
good nite all.
nite moma hope everything works out
good night mama... sweet dreams (((HUGS)))
It's behaving pretty well I think, little impact in any populated areas. If you're going to have a volcano I recommend a tame one!
NIte Mama... be well...
G'Nite Mama -- (*BIG HUG*) -- hope to see you tomorrow :)
Good morning everyone! a new day a new grid! :o) *HUGS to all*
Mama, kiss... don't know what the trouble is, but my best wishes go with you. And my armoured fists for whoever is giving you hell.

Hail and well met, Blaze! (*hug*)

re 8/50
R8/50
absolutely Nan,
You are all working so industriously -- better get my nose out of the log and get going!
Greetings, c-nan! (*hug*) sprite -- we're all wordsmiths of a sort, it comes with the territory :D
Still think spam should be a word!
I agree..... it should be a word... but not a food
well, RL is just not letting me pay attention to this grid so will have to come back to it later! ttfn
So long, Griff! (*Hug*)
gnite griff
spam is a word you can look it up
I love that so very much, Woulf :D Bye Griffs :( Hope you'll be back soon. Spam is no word, just the utter example of how respectless people can become when nobody is seeing them doing it. Hi cybernan!
m7/32
smore should be a word too
anybody know the icon theme today?
bridges
bridges again?
Yesterday's was fairytales, I believe, and today is bridges.
volcanoes...
I wonder: does the theme change with the grid or with the date?
and tomorrow is volcanoes.... it really depends where your time line is.... wednesday or thursday.... LOL
changes with the grid and it's thurs here now in US East
ok thank you, it's still wed for me, but I figure it's tomorrow's puzzle.....
It is thurday here -- far too early so I better to to bed now. bye.
Happy Volcano Day!
still wednesday here in western canada...
If it changes with the grid, it's vulcanos then, right?
b7/36
night Sushi
G'Night Sushi -- see you tomorrow! (*Hug*)
L7/32
I just may be back. Hisband has a cold and his hacking was keeping me up.
In the Netherlands it is already half past 7 in the morning on Thursday. But you will arrive to my morning fast enough ;)
Sorry to hear that, but at least it isn't a child :)
Husband not a child? ...could be debateable. Thanks and ...I'm outta here.
Well Woulf, some man are worse than that when they fall ill ;)
ok, here is my local volcano
Oooow, nice one Niamh!
very true -- I never had the luxury of reverting whenever I got sick, so I wouldn't know first hand, though I have heard horror stories ;D
Well -- that was a fast 100 -- wonder what I'll do for an encore?
niamh, that's mine too.. we lived in WA when Mt St Helens blew...we had great sunsets for awhile..
with 113 words, i'm going to bed--night, all!
good night
Mt. St. Helen, Niamh?
Good Night, CJ
I was small when it blew, I remember I was playing on the roof, so when my mom ran outside in a panic to gather the kids I hid so I wouldn't get in trouble... then I saw a huge black cloud roll in and ran inside very cool day!
G'Nite CJ and Une -- Sleep Well, Dream Deep (*HUGS*)
yes it's St. Helens
Nite, Une
so anyone know how many possible words and points in this puzzle?
night everyone who is going to bed!
Nite All!
G'nite chic!! (*hug*)
night chic, sweet dreams
(((hugs))) GW and everyone who needs one!
Well I'll be babbled.... I was wondering if we have volcanoes in BC and lo and behold I look at one every day....My backyard volcanoe.... roflol

s8/50
Refresh, guys, I am into the vulcano mood too :)
I refreshed Sprite and I still have your original icon
sprite no change
Good morning all...our very own tennessee volcano...Rocky Top!! :) Mala...if you go to Babblers Anon listed under friends of Babble on the right, you will find the word and point counts for today...
oops i see it now lol
it's not working for me sprite, I've refreshed three times... how's that forced refresh go? ctrl... what?
niamh it is in her usual icon
And here is an image of Wolf Volcano on Isabella Island (I love Google images! ;D )
Look better :) Alt + refresh or Ctrl + refresh, or with F5, I believe.
oooohh... tricky tricky ;P
I agree, Woulf! Nice one, and so appropriate :)
very nice GW
Thanks, Norad. Fantastic help - much much appreciated!
glad to help mala...happy babbling
Could someone please convince me that 'sermon' simply ISN'T in this grid?? *hits herself over the head*
funny sprite...I keep thinking molten should work due to our theme...
that's alright sprite, I keep seeing melt and now I need cheese!
sprite you are singing to the choir....
now, sprite -- I didn't let you take the fish away from me just so you could use it on yourself! *wags finger at sprite* ;D
LOL
morning all :) This grid is very lopsided today ...
Sure is. Funny idea, that over 200 words are hiding in a half grid.
Sprite... I keep seeing the red cap guy from hotels
Sorry, Sprite -- I keep seeing it too, along with motel
Ow Hugs! Wouldn't that have been a lovely one!
Sorry Woulf... thought I deserved it ;)
There should be a beautiful De9 for people who owe you money.
thanx sprite for v. useful clue :)
YW :) Just a pity that 9 won't take.
I got up to 7 and walked away... there is no de 9... you trickster you.... keeping us on our toes...
There is no 9 at all, even. Should have been valid though, don't you think? :D
hi all : ) I just found 162 words in one hour. An absolute record for me!
WTG Babbler!
all but true by friend... all but true
nice babbler... way to go!
speaking of that.. Blaze.... t8/45
I have that one thanks Hugs
Strange word, that T8!
Oh.. sorry... I missed it earlier, I guess
it is usually a builders term....
thanks guys! : ) 54 to go, but I've stalled. Haven't got the T8. Time for bed I think! Happy babbling and see you all later. : )
night Babbler

Lol Babbler, so did I... by mistyping S7.
morning everyone :) today I have a pic of Rangitoto - my favourite little volcano in NZ
Hi Atalante! Nice one indeed :)
hello Atalante... very nice volcano!
I love your volcano, Niamh!
thank you :D
Morning all , Just popped in to see what the grid is like today. Is it as nice as yesterday's?
not quite as nice, but still decent
Pretty much, Fmitch -- a little trickier, but overall quite enjoyable :)
Right, we have 216 words / 4.81 average length / 2635 points to hunt for today. Wonderful grid. I got stuck in the Ma6 department: there are 4 of them in a row, one with a bit surprising ending (to me anyway). Good luck hunting and thanks for the great company!
Thanks, Hi GW good to see you, been keeping up with the iminent arrival through the logs. Well I think I will have a go, but work first. Bye for now.
Good job, sprite -- just finishing the m's myself --- (*HUG*)
already done sprite... awesome!
see ya fmitch!
Always a pleasure, Fmitch :) Try not to work too hard (*Hug*)
Hi FMitch! It's a nice one. *big hug for Woulf*

Italy
I would love to see Italy, what brought you there?
my job, I'm in the Air Force
well Italy sounds like a good place to be stationed, if you must be stationed... right?
It's ok I'm liking it here just missing home.
I understand completely, I lived in TX for a while and was really enjoying myself, but the rain was calling me home! lol
LOL only someone from home would understand that comment! LOL
I think I might roll up a big fat spliff...
it's been great chatting with you Uni, I really need to get some sleep, I'm sure I'll see you again! night all!

i wish i had the word list... LOL
Isn't this Puzzle ' EASY AS PIE!!!!"
Oggy did you get the to8/45?
mari, yes thanks ive just finished. thanks anyway.
well i have 80 words and 670 points without the stats panel is that good?
Unicorn - the stats have been posted
my computer won't let me access them at work
Brandyjack posted a shorter version in the log here, Unicorn... scroll back three or four times
Oops sorry - one of the many advantages of being retired! 216 words 2635 points got a bit to go myself!
thank you so much!!!!
well i'm out to lunch but i'll be back thank you again!!!!
I am disgusted at Molecule! I hope to never hear from "IT" again on this chat log!
don't worry mrp Dr God will sort them out, and good morning all
Hi Ferrari! Sorry about that... but I am offended at that 'person'... calls themself a human being and carries on like a twat!!
Hi Ferrari & mrp :)
Hi Trish!
you know we were doing a song the other day, well there's a parody of Your'e Beautiful at www.-eclectech.co.uk, here's a taster- my voice is silly and my songs are poor, Youll keep on listening to this manure etc then your'e gullible etc
hi trish
will take a listen
Sorry folks, legal threats mean the parodied version of the song is currently offline. The animation and tomato splatting are still available, and our version of the lyrics are online so you can all sing along (let's face it, you know the tune)
we can always hope molecule is sp6/27
ferr... are you watching the hewitt match? chela is slapping him a little~! I don't know if he will survive this one!!
It must be back because I've just been listening to it, it's hilarious much better than the original which makes me run from the room although I almost like it I'm sick of it
ferr... I can't get it... can view the lyrics and that's all! Bugger... hey!!?
no, Eurosport the only channel to show it is only downstairs.Does Susan Kennedy survive that plane crash, please tell me if you know, I know I'm sad but I love Neighbours
the web site tells you to go to stablesound which is just on the left of the page, I clicked there
'fraid not! off the link now!
try later
why won't that po6/21 take a d on the end so one could be po***ed instead of pi**ed
ferr... I would think you are the master of words, so it should be!!
ferr... you know what hurts!!??....
.... that 'mole' was an aussie... what bad press for us!
what hurts and did you mean SK didn't survive , OMG I've just realiised she's nearly got my maiden name my name had an o instead of an ed then jiggled a bit
I'm sure molecule is the exception
ferr.... I am on the tennis LOL!!
by the way, I emailed D_G about molecule about 2 hours ago :) just to let you know!
Ferrari - Susan does survive.
thanks Atal... so did I! about 15 minutes ago... and I gave my apologies for all Australian on babble !!
I have it on good authority that *someone* dies in that crash. I think SK is a little too well loved to kill off, though. Atlante: I emailed this morning, too :) No doubt our Dr_God will have a full inbox today ;)
and Karl realises he still lurrrrrves her
good for you Atalante.
It's the junior Bishops who don't make it.
Oh thankyou, they're my favourite characters
Not any more.....
Hi Haz!!
So the Senior Bishop's do?, I'd assumed they were for the chop!
Harold wasn't on the plane but Liliana, David and Serena (I think) don't survive.
Good morning/evening Mr President!
Morning all. Mrpresident wasn't thant molecule the one being arsey the other day?
poor Harold, and I guess Madge comes back in a dream or something
Molecule - the name describes the size of his brain....
Poor Harold, indeed!
That big Haz!
You think I'm being too generous?!
no brain at all I should think
He has no manners, anyway.
that's for sure
does Dylan survive?
Yes - goes on the run with Connor.
he/she was being funny the other day but no where near as bad as today.
Molecule.... should FO and shut his pie-hole!!
Isn't it sad that I know all this? I had a look at the Neighbours website because I couldn't bear the suspense.
you and me both Haz, great innit, lol
back in a bit must hang washing out, it's not raining for a change
See you later!
can I have a hint... for the se8 please?
continue the se5, mrp... plants are this.
or ... se + gloom + past tense ending
thanks trish!
welcome :)
I am a'huntin for clues fairly quickly tonite as I have to work tomorrow!
how about a clue for the last ro5/10?
I don't know whether it is the last one - ro plus double helping of beverage then vowel.
I only have one ro5/10 ... if something has spoiled it has ro**** ... take the 'd' off the end
thank you again trish!
yw.... *pokes at the R* ... is there another ro5/10 from it, then? *pokes it some more*
morning all clue fortheto 8/45 please
Hi rosalind to8 ... compound word .... digit on foot + something you eat from
to8 a digit on your foot + a dish you eat off
Thank you Trish
morning peeps. Could someone please tell my email in-box that "spam" does not exist - if the babble world says so then it must be true.
Morning Dachef
Dach... it is unfortunate but true in this grid...
I do not need any viagra, thankyo very much, and I have no interest in increasing in size any part of my body, and even if I was, do you really think that the most intimate part of my body would be butchered by a load of itinerant spam merchants who cant even spell? Anyway, rant over.
can you PLEASE just spell out the last re6/21.... I am blind!!
I have two of those, mrp... the last is re+ notice (or blemish)
polly isn't allowed either
nor is gullible
and while we are on the subject, oaty is back, putting in quite a strong case for its inclusion. LOL Ferrari!
back from lunch
sorry trish... I am tired and the notice/blemish clue is eluding me! any other clue for the last re6/21
I got it!!! re + sp** DUH !!!
re + your second sp4/5
when you put a ball back on it's sp4/6 you re6/21 it
lol, mrp... it *was* all twisty
can I please have a clue for the last po5/21 ??? please please
I mean po6/21 last one thanks
po6/21 po plus double beverage plus first two letters of letter
it's that from earlier. the po***ed, it rhymes with an m o6/21 that means the same as sp6/27
thank you thank you thank you all!!
Have to go to do interesting things like tax cars and buy a dog licence.
dog licence?
bye haz!
see you later haz
bye haz!
everyone needs a dog licence or we can't walk our dogs!
not in the uk - abolished when i was a wee thing.
gran... recheck the laws
gran I think they may have brought it
I have five dogs, breed and show them. We do not have dog licences. they were costing more to enforce than the govt were getting. voted out in the 80s
oops, back at least for some breeds, not sure
mind you - they were 13.5p i think so no wonder!
not in this country. pit bulls have to be neutered and muzzled in public places, but we dont have licenses for dogs
ferr... what breeds do you have/show??
none now, used to have a lovely Golden Lab
neutered and muzzled!! OMG!! that is so strict!!
there was talk about bringing them back wasn't there?
Isn't Haz in Ireland? I think they may still have dog licensing there.
yep, they are lovely dogs, sadly owned here mainly by idiots.
aah,that would explain it trish
mind you... that just was passed in the last week here and not allowed to breed/sell them either... it applies to 5 different breeds now and the fines are $20,000 if you walk without a muzzle and $55,000 if you breed!!
no talk of bringing them back - lots of talk of breed specific legislation - watch out if you own a rottie, a stasffy, a bully or a neo.... get political, it will happen if we dnt keep awake.
bsl went through? where are you?
whats a neo?
neopolitan mastiff.
I have a Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie) and she is divine!!!
ah! thank you :)
gran, are you asking me?
bless, Ive got dachshunds... looking into importing a doberman from europe. I prefer the working lines (need a dog for trials - GSD died a couple of years ago)
sorry mr p - yes >grins<
BSL passed here in all of Australia and more breeds going to be added before June
oh heck, must run - love this grid, back later!
see you gran
can someone help me with the y's?
Oh crikey - what a nightmare!
Unicorn: ye 4/6 - shout ye 4/6 change the double consonants to a different pair ye4/7 take the top 4/6 again, and change just the last consonant to another.
thank you!
ok, please help... I am lost on the pa6/24 followed by the pa7/36.... please give clue... (blind)
someone who hides something in their pa4/6 swap you for my missing mo6?... I have the plural of people who are sad and the splotchy one.
mrp extend your pa 4/6, part of your hand
trish, think Shakespeare, put on the mo6/27
OMG! I was looking down.... not up!! AARRGHH!
thank you very much!
you could say we are a mo6 crew here on babble
thx ferrari - great clue!
ty Ferrari :)
ferrari - thats right, but we dont go out with pamela Anderson. Mores the pity.
therefore we are pa7/36's for it
dachef, Danid Hasselhoff's more my thing
sorry David
time for lunch, good day and good luck everyone.
bye trish!
I was a teenager when baywatch was first shown here. I learnt everything I needed to know about sexuality from that show.
laters Trish
bye trish
there's no answer to that dachef
dacher.... I learnt alot from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.... seasons 1, 2 and 3
mrp, I love Buffy, and Alias too, women who kick ass
when you look at Baywatch (and Buffy - SMG, ooooooo), and see all these really beautiful people, and your hormones are al over the place, you quickly have to discover exactly why you are getting excited. I learnt from a very early age - Mr Hasselhoff, no thanks, Miss Anderson, bring it on.
now there's a man, Giles and also Vaughn
dachef you could be in denial! lol
Nikita rocked too!!
and Nip/Tuck, not Christian the other one
Sean, that's it
but Christian's much hotter
I luuuuurvv Nip/Tuck... That is such a wrong concept!! But so sexual!!!
nope, still does nothing for me, although I can appreciate their aesthetic beauty.
Dach... tell me Angel (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) does nothing for you?? Please!! Can't be
He is BI-everyone- loves- him!!
sorry MrP - give me Miss Geller every time. Me and my sis have this argument all the time, she is a massive Spike fan.
oh this is no good, all this distraction, Spike, I miss you. cheekbones to die for
Funny story to tell you all My Mother-in-law was looking at clothing for my unborn baby... and picked up a lovely lime coloured jumpsuit... and said... "What a lovely BiSexual colour!" I shook my head and said... "Don't you mean UniSex?"
amongst other things!
ah yes, the process of imposing roles on babies! Fabulous!
mrp, LOLOLOL!!!
Good morning all! Sorry about the icon. I know it's pretty feeble, but whatever volcanoes we ever had in Vermont are long extinguished and softened. For those who can't read the small print, this is Vermont Volcano Mustard.
Hi Eva! Dont worry - on this side of the pond the closest we ever get to a volcano is my ex mother in law.
another funny story, my daughter knows someone who was in a lift and 2 big black guys got in and said down, so they got on the floor, later they found their bill had been paid because it was Will Smith, and he'd had the biggest laugh in years
I love it, eva
Hi Une..! Great to see you!! I have about a zillion of those funnies!! my family is indeed 'blessed' with stupidity!
ferr... LOL... that is funny!
gramma are you on nice safe high ground? For once we didn't lose our power, and had just very high winds and a dusting of snow overnight. But there seemed to be quite a bit of flooding around Montpelier yesterday. Not terribloe, but pretty soggy.
one of my relatives told us she wanted the organist to play "that Spanish classic" as she walked down the aisle at her wedding . . . turns out she was referring to Ave Maria :/
dachef-hope you managed to stay out of her lava flow.
al5/10? al4/6?
OMG! Une... that is funny!
eva, Middlebury is high enough to avoid the whole ark building thing. But what a day yesterday!
angel: think soothing lotion ingredient and its plural
did you all hear about my daughters car trip??
and the al4/6 is a friend...
I've never been to MIddlebury. Here in Adamant we are high up too, so just the winds. But there's only so many mud seasons any human being should be subjected to in a single year!
Amen, sister :}
oops angel, my bad, didn't look at the points---just the number of letters
no mrp
My daughter (7 years old) and I were driving along and happened apon my husband and son on the side of the road... I said to my daughter... "yell obseneties at them out the window".... She poised herself at the window and yelled "OBSENETIES!"...
LOL
I can just imagine, that's hilarious
'what's obseneties mean mummy?'.... ROFLMAO!!
mornin babblers! hows the grid today??
gramma, when my god daughter first went to kindergarden they were asksed to name the seasons of the year and she, of course, said "Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring, Mud". But this year it's been more like: Summer, Fall, Mud, Winter, Spring, Mud, Winter, Spring, Mud". Stuck in a mud loop. The mud/ice combo is a particular favorite of mine.
hi evan, it's a nice grid today
afternoon grides good today
Eva, I heard the song " suicide is painless " and I thought 1 more month w/out sunshine and I could understand that.
what sort of word's that I squeak, pl6/27
Greetings and salutations, fellow Babblers!
Yawn, morning! How can there be so many words on a grid with two tiny vowel clusters?
Howdy jera
You yucky teeth people need to update your icons (pretty please, trying to eat breakfast here)...
Jera, are you talking to me?
be6/24 and be 7?
To all newcomers, please note that we only have half a grid in play today! Can you imagine if there were a few more vowels in strategic places - this woulda been a beast!!!
angelsong -- one who makes a wager...then plural
Sorry, I was the one who needed to update... hadn't refreshed since I was on in the wee hours..
aiders and abe*****, take off the a for the b6,b7
Ok, have to go to bed now!! Will finish the other half later... have a good day/night all!
A Challenge: This won't work for those of you who love to communicate via the chat log, but...For a real challenge, try to get as many words as possible with no clues, no help, just your brain power. I'm amazed at how many people get the same top score, all that seems to matter is who is first! Try doing it without the total words, the total score, the 1st letter count or the letter count. Can you even get 15%? Try it!
mrpresident... when are you due?
night night mrp, sleep tight
I did that this morning and got 162 in one hour. :D
Jeepers Jera, I say howdy and you jump me on my icon???You should be banned from babble for life :D
BillF... I can usually do about half, but I've learned some of the wierdo words...
Sorry gramma... that was very rude. I sincerely apologize... the two together while I was eating made me act very badly...
Billf, I do that everyday, can get about three quarters without any help, there's no challenge otherwise
just keep in mind, not everyone is here to finish the puzzle...and not everyone is here to achieve the top score... personally, i play to pass the time while im at work...haha
gramma-I think that those of us who live in New England have highly developed amnesiac abilities....otherwise we couldn't do it. Gee whiz....it's cold and grey again....what a surprise!". It's funny, when we first moved from Massachsuetts(not your tropical paradise either) to Vermont, we had this image of all these hardy oldtimers hunkering down for the winters. Come to find out almost all of them split for Florida in January and don't come back until May. Adamant is also Blackfly capitol of the world. There are about 2-3 glorious weeks in May when it is not freezing and there are no bloodsucking hordes. It feels like paradise. Then they descend and one can't be outside for any extended period of time without wearing bug bafflers(you can look them up on the web). I'd like to invite everyone to Adamant's annual Black Fly Festival.
Oh dear, I was too late to chat with mp... I hate chat lag... makes one look silly sometimes...
Jera, I'm a tough old bird..not overly sensitive (blows nose and wipes away her sad little tears)
Jera... still around!! I WAS due... but gave birth a while ago!
{{{gramma}}} *makes very sad face in remorse (that's not a word today is it??)*
Not so tough..back later.
I see... old story... I still like baby stories even though my baby is 4...
bunny, every time I see your name I think of that homicidal rabbit that attacked President Carter. Never understood what a rabbit was doing in the water anyway.
Jera... mine are 6 & 7 and I LOVE baby stories... I have a business in baby goods!! It is my pride and joy!!
Speaking of dreary weather... I always get the urge to run away to Australia come February in Virginia... But today & tomorrow we will get a taste of Spring... high 50's & sunny... I may die from shock...
What a sweet occupation, mp... you are lucky to do something you love... I hate to ask after embarrassing myself earlier... but does your icon have anything to do with volcanoes? Or are you sitting this theme out?
Don't guess I've ever heard the killer bunny story, glad I make you think happy thoughts though! I'd kill for some cold weather, we haven't dropped below 70 degrees but a few times and desperately need rain. Looks like no winter this year...
Jera, we don't have any volcanic activity of any sory in australia.... so am sitting this out with a flamingo!! The firey bird!!
Ah, I see... I like it when people have clever icons for the theme... explanation is good conversation...
Good nite... have a wonderful grid!! must sleep as it is past midnight and have work... goodbye!! luv to all!! (hugs)
Goodnight, MrPres. Sorry to have missed you! Hello everyone else. P's birthday today.
Good night, mrp... sweet dreams!
Happy Birthday to P !!! Hi Jacula! :D Have you looked in my handbag lately? I saw your request for glam rock. :D:D:D
Who is P, Jacula?
goodnight mrp :) sorry I'm not very chatty today.
got to go,only 19 to go, blast, see ya jac
Bye, ferrari!
'Bye Ferrari. 'See' you soon. Babbler - not yet. Will look into your handbag in a min.:-) Jera - 'P' is paul69, my other half.
I see... are you guys going anything special? My husband hates parties, so his birthday is rather boring...
jac go to www.-eclectech.co.uk for a parody of Your'e Beautiful, it's called You're Gullible, it's hilarious
ferrari: "legal threats mean the parodied version of the song is currently offline"
Ferrari - just been listening to that. Read your message about it in the log earlier. Jera - No, nothing special other than just being together. We've got the weekly shopping to do shortly.:-( Babbler - Bloomin' heck, you've got more in your handbag than I have! Feb.3rd for Glam Rock day then? The day Wolfie's baby is due.
Une - Look on the l/h bar of that site and go to Stablesound. You can hear it there.
How sweet, Jacula... we used to do that...
Incidentally, my icon is Popocatapetl. I've never been there, it's just one of my favourite alliterative words.
yes! I logged in the other day and suddenly we had a theme-fest! I've scheduled a baby shower for GW before then. :)
I'm going to bow out for now at 170 words. I'm going to cook a nice mixed grill for P's birthday lunch before we go out. TTFN.
have a lovely day, Jac :)
I like that Jacula... I'll be saying that all day today... (people think I'm crazy anyway...
Bye Jac!
alright I get to go home now. I'll be back tomorrow
thanks, jac!
re7/32 and re6/21 right after it, anyone pls? ty
dish again & scheme again
thank you Jera :)
And with that bit of good karma... I must be off to get the littly to school. back in an hour or so, have fun!
1 word left to find - sp6/21. Any help please, anyone? ty
Hi all help please with the last re6/21 ty
If I had it, I'd share... really off now...
bye Jera, hi Caitlyn - re + polka dot
found it..... and finished!! 2.5 hours!! A personal record! :D:D:D
Thanks Babbler I couldnt see that for looking!!!!!!!
y/w Caitlyn :) Going to rest now. Another night of no sleep :/ Will be back later to give clues. See you all later : )
*begin rant* it really, really, REALLY bothers me when people in the cafeteria cant be bothered to purchase a small carton of milk for their cereal, but instead open the carton, pour milk on their cereal, and put the carton back in the refrigerated case. i think its ride, cheap, and disgusting -- who wants the milk youve already opened? and for those of us who want to buy a carton, now half of them are already opened or theres non left! *GRRR!!!!* *end rant*
Bye Babbler.....enjoy your rest catch you later lolx
ooooh! I've just broken the 1000 mark in Who's Hot! Wow! How cheering! :) (dropped like a 100 points in rankings cos of Christmas though :/)
(((Evanadine)))) we hear you, hun :(
heh, im ok babbler, that kinda stuff just really frustrates me. i went to buy cereal this morning, and the only non-fat milk was an open carton. luckily we also have a little shop in our building, so i had to run over there to buy my own carton of milk. these are tiny cartons...why is it so hard for people to just BUY one?
lots of people are wasteful.... :/
i guess in their mind, they see it just the other way -- they know they wont use the whole carton, so they wanna leave the rest for someone else who can use it. but really...who wants to take milk out of a carton that has already had someone elses fingers all over the spout? *ick*
ick indeed! I wouldn't....! :/
Morning all!
thumo, thump, thump.... is this thing on?
mornin jen!
I was starting to think everyone skulked away as soon as I showed up. :)
ma7/32?
G'day everyone....
Morning movieman!
Hiya jen, Evandine, Jera
Hey angelsong! :)
Ma7 Ma4/5 (type of beverage) + *sound like* To4/4 (whats on your feet) take out a T in the middle and swap the last 2 letters around
help...I'm being held hostage by ma7/32
any clues on the 8's?
ty evanadine, I just came back for my last 3 and that was one of them :)
morning everyone! :)
mornin efor
YW trishtrash -- i dont have a lotta the big ones, but when someone asks for something specific, it helps me find it faster. :)
yay! finished! First time Ive ever finished without a2z or begging for clues! Who-hoo!
congrats dachef!!
WTG Dachef!!
hi efor :) Congrats, Dachef :) Evanadine, I'd love to 'help' you get my last ma6 ;) I have 3 that come off the first 4/5... does the fourth start the same way?
not sure how many Ma6 there are... the last one i have right now is a hammer-type thing
there are 4 mi6 all in a row - all have the same first 5 letters.....
4x ma6 in a row, Evanadine, and they are very similar. One has a rather unusual ending.
grats Dachef!
then it looks like ive got all 4. w00t!
cheers all! got to go and do something semi-constructive! anyone need a clue afore I depart?
anyone have clues yet for the 8s?
Thanks, Dachef, just needed to know I was on the right route... got it now :)
All I have is the to8, and it's the things at the end of your feet + something you eat off of.
se8 .. from se5/12 .. a plant is this.
to8 compound word... digit on foot + something you eat from
re8 .. to re6/21 (the voting one) again
thanks trish!
8's: re8 : to collect the votes again. se8: to contain a part of a flower (extension of se5) to8: compound word, the things on the end of your feet plus the thing you eat off.
alternative se8 clue: se + gloom + past tense ending
got all 3, thanks!
sorry about the re8 clue ... should have read: to re po6/21 again
note to self: when your last word is an AL5, monkey-typing AM words isn't going to help. *tsk*
the only AL5 i have is a narrow passageway between 2 buildings...usually dark and dank
see... it's easy when you use the right letters.... *slaps self with fish* I'm done... anyone want clues before I go?
Evandine, there's another that's almost the same... double the last vowel.
thanks trish!
I don't get the se8 clues, help for the dense please?
dsp... se + friend (double the 'L') + past tense ending
SE + another short name for a friend or buddy + past tense of a word that means to head up a line or group
ahhh, thank you, got it
good day & good babbling everyone, so long :)
Is the word for the sound a sheep makes in the dictionary? I'm not sure that I'm spelling it right
sign, it's spelled with an a, not 2 e's
Well I never would have guessed that. thanks
There's an mo4/6... why can't you add re to it?!?!!?!?! After my dog goes through the kitchen, I always have to!!
I get hung up on some of the stupidest things..like..I want to remotl my house...but til then, I'll just watch some tv. hand me the remot, wouldja?
I actually think this game has ruined my spelling.
Good morning!
Morning harpjane!
Is today's puzzle on the easy side, or not? I don't have a lot of time today.
i was gonna ask if anj or lola have been around since ive been gone, but i can that the chatlog hasnt moved much...heh
anyone heard from MammaBear since the flip?
Greetings again, fellow Babblers!
I have to ask, what's up with all the fish references?
offf to a blistering star here:( found all the AL 4 words except one hint please
Good morning ... have about 20 minutes before I head out to the dentist's.
any clues on the et's?
Morning Nan, nothing better than a trip to the dentist to ruin your day? Just a check up?
No Bunny -- a consultation for braces! --- last visit, he told me it would take two years to straighten my teeth. I just LOL and said I'd get straight teeth and the OAP the same year, then.
et5/12 is a Russian prison plus et6 is plural
OAP?
OAP = old age pensioner but more politically correct (yuk!) is senior citizen in UK
AL 4*6 word hint please
shorten the 5/14 before it
Oh, like social security or medicaid I guess? You reach retirement age and your dental visits are covered by the pension?
Russian prison clue doesn't help -- don't know much about Russia!
I could use dome dental work, had my wisdoms removed and now my teeth have spread, but my husband just got a new job and we can't get insured for a year through them! Dental work is EXPENSIVE, especially for what little is involved sometimes....
Bunny, in Canada everyone gets a cheque from the government after age 65 --- mind you, most of it is clawed back in taxes, depending on your income. Those that have been in the workforce also have paid into the Canada Pension Plan -- cheques from that come after age 60 (if you have retired).
OK Nan try public storehouse or the place where troops halt overnight?
gotta run -- will get back to the et's on my return. :) Mamabear if you're out there -- hoping for the best.
hello
What has happened with Mamabear?
Need help with last LO5/10, please?
does anyone notice me ?
al 4/6 -- a country that is on your side
Now where is that naughty smaller?
Coolbear - I notice everything *cue spooky music*
THANK YOU ARB..thought I typed that
lo 5/10 Change the last letter of the game
bunny - what IS that icon? *squints hard* and what is the theme today?
Hey now cool, I gave you a hint right after you asked....
volcano in a lightning storm, theme is volcanoes
Ta *goes off to tap googleimages for volanoe pics*
Thanks, ARB... coulda sworn I tried that!
How can spam not be a word?
and spottle...!!!.....things get spottled with ink, and soup, and squash and...and....and....
spam is a trademarked name, that's why
what about spam, like junk mail
shrug ... dunno. The dictionary is way out of date and, to my mind, uses made up stuff. but that's just my opinion. ;-)
Truthfully, do you want it updated and just that many more words added to the list?
in a word ... YES.
hello, volcano-ites. a fitting theme for how i feel today.
Morning/Afternoon/Evening all
Hurshy, bad day? Hi CAit!
dang smores
hello everyone :)
I'm done, anyone want the whole word list?
Hello
how do youknow when your done?
you could say that, bunny.
when you have 216 words and 2635 points..
I can't believe you losers actually pay to get a shitty little icon and flag
molecule, if you mean the second letter listing, we can get it from bab anon. if you mean the whole words - we never post those, it is very very not good.
You know if you upgrade, if not, babblers anon posts a list of 2nd letter words and how many words are in the grid for the day.
molecule - actually, most of us paid bc we want to support the site, which we enjoy.
Yeah, that $10 really seared my pocket book. Heaven forbid you contribute to a site you enjoy!
yeah bullshiit
ty hurshy.....couldn't have put it better !!!
Here here hurshy What makes us losers please?
Good heavens....you are a sad soul Molecule
i really fail to see the resemblance between a donation of a few dollars and the excrement of any farm animal.
well, the fact that you pay money tyo look at a screen and type in letters... everyday
nah... I'm not sad, far from it....
Why are YOU playing Mole
well you don't sound very happy !
Aids in typing skills and vocabulary. Better than some of those Playstation games....
however foolhardy you may think it, the fact is that it still has no relation to feces whatsoever.
well, some dipshiit friend of mine gave me a link to this game, god... lonely people you are
Molecule, ejoy this site!
go back down the hole that you emerged from mole
it doesn't aid in vocabulary
Go to Mobog.com, this you will really enjoy. Tust me!
certainly doesn't seem to aid your Mole
AH, so NOW the connection emerges. it is your friend who is covered in animal waste, and thus you associate it with the site. however, since you did the puzzle, you clearly enjoyed it, which must create some terrible cognitive dissonance for you - i'm so sorry.
molecule, I uderstand YOU ARE SORRY! go to mobog.com. you will enjoy that site.
its stuff like this why i tend to ignore the chat space
People - Molecule was on this site earlier on in the day and was very unpleasant. He was ignored by the rest participating on the chat log, but several have e-mailed Dr God about him and hopefully action will be taken soon.
Obsc, usually a friendly place!
(but haz, aren't you just a smidge entertained by my responses? i have to say i'm enjoying myself hugely)
hello folks... any help with the et 5/16?
You're just encouraging him to answer him back.
oh geez. Not another TROLL!!?? Talk about needing a life ... granadan, hilarious avatar ... hee hee
Hursh, I am .... must add I just foung the word poser, very apt .... lol From now on I'm ignoring the mole in case its cancerous!
Sorry, to answer you back.
i suppose so, but wouldn't you say i'm winning the war of the words? :)
makes me laugh anyway hurshy !!!
you all need to get a life !!
the score so far: hushy 3, mole 0
btw, greetings all!
meanwhile, i could use help with the second et5 if anyone has that
hi mark :)
Leslie-Anne - et 5/16? Do you mean et5/12 in which case add a monkey to your et and pluralise it for the 6.
hello mark, thanks for keeping score. :)
sorry, hurshy, not hushy....that moniker should be given to certain violin case owners from yesterday...but that is all in the past now..... :)
suffering word blindness with the 'e's ...sorry
thanks, haz, i have that one i was looking for the et 5/16
et + what you ask your mother when you get a whipping!
looks like we're in the same boat, leslie
ty...Haz
hmmm...bunny, that's quite a puzzler
GOT IT bunny...ty...ty..
ok...et + consonant + shorten mother
Thanks bunny.
but Bunny, etstop isnt a word!
YW :)
lol
ohhhh.... if anyone still needs it w/ a diff clue, it appears to me that it is related to the study of how words evolve (how apropos)
i got the et5/16....thx
ahh, thanks bunny (i was wondering how etow could fit)
lol Leslie!
Hmmm, I coul have smashed a window with a bat and still felt very innocent 8o
and seems as though the trolls are now purged... lovely
Peace at last!!!!
i wonder if Dr_G got him or if my witty repartee was just too much for him...
probably the latter... :)
hello everyone!
I think so too, to many big words used for him...
hi niamh!
SPAM should be a word...God knows i get enuf of it everyday!
weren't those the same trolls from last night? you'd think if they hated it so much they wouldn't come back
yea, but spam is too obvious.... don't you want a challenge?
jessie, what is mobog?
everyday i come here i have a challenge...sheesh, i've only ever completed 3 of these...
oh yeah, right... i was afraid to check lest it infect my computer or something :)
Hi everyone! Mark - I haven't had a chance to tell you that your CD is great!
Lupe! hey, i read your review of my CD on CDBaby...thx! glad u like it
I hardly ever complete a puzzle, but it's so much fun to try - and of course the people here are awesome!
lol mark, : D
Well-deserved. I hope your fan base expands because the music is truly moving.
What type of music?
hey Lupe, i just uploaded a song that didn't make the cut for the CD...it's on: www.soundclick.com/markbowers
Thanks! I'll check it out!
Bunny, i compose instumental piano and keyboard music...sorta like George Winston+Enya
Mobog.com is a nasty and antagonistic chat and picture download. I don’t recommend this to decent people.
Thanks Jess, I'll send it to the husbands ex.....
Hi all .Have just found your sight and am already bog eyed ,and I must say not doing very well but do hope to improve
ooh, sounds nice mark. i like both of them.
hey, it's a free download...10+ minutes of spontaneous piano (the medley). helped to inspire track10 ("One Life")
babbette - all we can do is try our best! :-)
welcome, babbette. if you haven't found it already, if you click the "babblers anonymous" link to the right, then click general, then click stats, you will get a list of all the first and second letters, word list etc. for the day
it's very relaxing Mark... I'm listening to The 'One day' medley
afternoon babblers!
hello evan!
Hola Eva!
thx Niamh...it's supposed to be relaxing (i must have done my job right, i guess)
had a surprise baby shower luncheon for a coworker...now ive got food coma!!
hey eva!
Welcome babbette Im sure you will get as addicted to babble as we are.
Don't tell me what you ate Eva - I'm starving right now!
we had thai food...i had Chicken Preo Wan (or something kinda like that...heh)
you did a great job Mark, I think I'll share this with my co-worker/music enthusiast/tuba player
argh, the dreaded re's. can anyone help with re7?
Jessie1 - why the heck did you post that obnoxous site in here then if you "dont recommend it to decent people"? children and young adults enjoy babble and use this site too!
hmmm....piano and tuba? <strokes chin>...never really crossed my mind....hmmm...could be interesting...like a foghorn with lite piano in the background.... ;)
re + what you eat off of
RE + dish
got it but thanks anyway :)
re + eat off one for dinner re + planting re + polka dot re (get car back for nonpayment) re + count votes re + counte votes past tense
like a fog horn... lol, he plays in a brass band and is always sharing his latest musical discovery with me
fmitch, this was recommended to the antagonistic a-hole that was pushing us around. I am sure that is antagonistic a__ is at that site pushing similar people like him there.
i love bunnyvicious (platonically, of course)
Jessie, that is an absolutely hideous site....<blinking eyes rapidly to get images out>
Jessie warned you... curiosity killed the cat man....
hey...share my music with anybody...everybody.... (anything to get these CDs out of my closet!)... :)
think i left out two, but they are both variations of...
back again....have I missed anything ?
if we had all ignored her or him in the first place it wouldn't have got to that level. Don't respond at all and they slowly die.
Mark, are you playing outside of your area? Maybe you and your sister can do a performance in the Chicago-area (since she lives here)..... maybe look into an outdoor summer concert through the City's Cultural Affairs Department?
just tubas and pianos...
Finished, anyone need a few hints before I go? Mark, do you have a web site? My mother-in-law is huge fan of piano music and she's really into that mood music as well. Sounds right up her alley.
you're right FMitch......I got sucked in !!!
Bunny: www.markbowersmusic.com
rut roh -- who is posting nastiness that we need to ignore??
bunny, thanks for all your help. maybe the be 6/27 and 7/36?
In fact, her birthday is coming up and she is so hard to buy for!
whoops, and i forgot: congrats bunny!
I could use a nudge on one of the last po 6/21's I have the plural of the 5/12
Sorry FMitch (crying now) Wont do it again.
ty mark...will give it a whirl later....I can't do two things at the same time....needs all my concentration !!
sounds just like people who gamble money or be+, but the ending vowel is different
well Bunny, at least 2 babblers have gotten my CD so far-- Lupe and Babbler, and GreyWoulf wants one too...so join the croiwd!
Afternoon all!! What'd I miss?
don't cry, caitlin! look at karys' icon, that should make you feel better.
Can anyone give me a clue on the last lo-5/10?
po 6/21 rhymes with mo 6/21
lo5/10...........game with different ending ?
last lo 5/10, like a coffee drink except lo instead of la
but bunny, I haven't gotten to the mo... I like working backwards
Thanks Hurshy
lo 5/10 Like a coffee drink with an o instead of a
i don't habe the mo6/21...?
mo6/21.....sort of spotty
..that would be ....HAVE
po 6/21 also rhymes with what you drink beer or soda out of
(mark has a cold)
mo 6 - the thr***** on a lawn mower makes it speed up, rhyme with that
thats a better clue hurshy
nice clue Bunny! thx
Karys - yr icons is so cute and I hate using that word but it really is!!!!!!!
lol Hurshy
ah... done... now to get through the rest of the day...
another mo 6, older band mo**** crew
that lawn mower one did it for me... thank you bunny!
the kitty is smiling! awwww... have you guys been to cuteoverload.com? someone on here recommended it the other day and it is great. cute animals all over the place.
ty FMitch.....I don't seem to find the time to look for the themes very often, so just have to make do with 'Happy Cat'
YW
congrats hurshy!
ty bunny....didn't have that one
ok, i think i got them...thx!
well that is one very very ahppy cat - and i am going come back as him in my next life :)
I think he looks like he got the cream.....ALL of it !!!
Goodly day, all. Ish. 216 words. I don't think I have the energy.
karys, i love your icon so much, i'm glad you ignore the themes!
judi - it's kind of like yesterday's, though - not too hard.
makes me feel better hurshy...ty
... and my other all time fav icon was MrP LimeCat - that is #1
Darnit, Twy just covered my bathroom in shaving cream, should've known batter than to buy pink...
Yes, I was all confident after banging out 116 words after only about 15 minutes. Hit the wall now though.
actually judi, poss even easier than yesterday - only took me an hour, as opposed to 75 min yesterday.
lol Hurshy...<not too hard>...well, it's not too hard for me to get like a THIRD of them...
oh, judi, are you using the list? i wouldn't dare babble without it :)
Thanks, Hurshy. Rub it in!
lol bunny... that's fun! but hey shaving cream shines the silver parts, like your sink spout
well mark, we all have different gifts. you seem to have musical ones. i have an uncanny ability to play boggle/babble. of the two, yours is probably the more useful.
It's the boards overloaded with vowels that get me, so many off the wall words.
i have 113, 4.57, 1084 w/out the list...we'll see if i use the list or not today...
Thnx, Nia, now I have an excuse to let it sit for a few minutes!
think this is my best effort to date without lists...51 to go
sorry judi - like i say, since i'm not athletic or artistic or musical - well, it's all i have. :)
Amen, Bunny. The vowels kill me. I usually try to do them first, just to get the suffering over as quickly as possible.
me too, judi!
you're so welcome... I used to work in childcare and when the tables would get covered in marker that we couldn't wipe off, we'd let the kids make a mess with shaving cream and it cleans that up too!
How about blue crayon in the dryer load?
well, i think i'll head out for now...have other things to do (i know i know...other things than BABBLE?)... ;)
that's awesome, karys!
(Must be on to boggle, the other thing)
got to go now....be back later to hopefully finish...bye.... :)
sorry, no tricks for crayon in the dryer... I'll have to work on that :/
Bye Kar and Mark!
lol Bunny! rofl....
see you guys later!
Is it LeslieAnn ?.....thats good to hear....ty...still must go
i think so... i am a list junkie myself
OK, my little angelic three year old's are demolishing the house around me, be back tomorrow!
lol... see you bunny!
Bye Mark!
I have compared the status list with my word list and I have all the 4 letter words but it says that I am missing two, I always seem to have this problem???
can anyone give a clue for the "et" words?
try refreshing the page coolbear?
Coolbear - try F5 as a refresh - this normally cures that sort of problem.
et 5/12 and 6 - e + duct **** and plural
still 105 LeslieANN
sorry, that's all i got :(
ty leslieann!
FMitch I tried that also, sorry no soap still 105
Coolbear - pls try not to post words on the log!
what words?! I've only posted questions on here???
It's okay coolbear, probably an inadvertant slip. But if you look at your last post you will find another 4 letter. :) That'll move ya past 115.
I'm just trying to figure out why I'm missing two words when my list matches the status list thats all:(
cinnabon makes cookies now. im in HEAVEN!!
seriously, people need to start posting quickly. i keep seeing "cinnabon" and "cookies" and i am getting really hungry!
You know the saying........a moment on the lips...
Eva - you're killing me.
and theyre GOOD leslieann!! i got the sof tones + they also make sammich-style ones... *drools*
heh, ive already got a few lifetimes living on my hips...the more, the merrier!
LOL
LOL Eva - I'm trying to shed mega poundage before my Mexico trip.
You know, I really can't stand a lot of sweets, but the one things I have a weakness for the frosting stuffed cookies from the Cookie COmpany.
SNAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok, babble-focused, can someone help me with my missing B? i have: be4 6 be4 6 be4 6 be4 6 be6 24 be7 36 bi4 7 bi5 16 bi6 27 bl5 16 bl4 6
bl 4/7, eva... past tense of your 5
im *thisclose* to joining a gym myself...im not good at the whole not-eating-what-i-want-when-i- want-it thing, so i figure if i can burn off some calories (and tone up at the same time!) then ive afforded myself some more room for tasty treats. :)
All I have to say is thank God for the Skinny Cow ice cream bars! What a blessing!
EvaN, if you have a Sport and Health Club near you, that's a great one! That's the one I go to.
thanks leslie -- pass me the fish
mmmm ice cream *drools* they just opened a Cold Stone around the corner
Eva - I am paying monthly dues for my membership card to be stored at the gym because I haven't been there since last summer! I've been using by treadmill at home lately, and doing the core secrets. Gotta build some resistance before I venture back into the gym.
theres a golds gym walking distance from my house...and a cold stone not much farther! haha
I have one near me too Nia..... I'll stick to the skinny cows for now...
hi all :) hurshy, are you still here? I believe our word for the day is : SNAP! lol :D
that's the perfect combo eva!
My gym is next to Cold Stone, Starbucks, Fridays, American Cafe, and about 6 other ethnic restaurants. Oh, and a movie theater with wonderful popcorn!
hi babbler!
i dont go to the cold stone often though...and when i do, i usually opt for the sinless sweet cream with strawberries, blueberries, raspberries...
eva, did you see my clue at 12:52? if it helps, want to give me those bi 5 and 6??
I've noticed that there is always some sort of restaurant/eatery right next to a Curves gym. I always point that out to my boyfriend and he laughs. It's a conspiracy!
What always kills me is the donut shops right next to Weight Watchers.
leslie -- Bi 5/6 combo rhymes with where cows live and where farmers grow their veggies... singular + plural
*refresh* just got changed into Fujiyama, my fave cos I love photography.... (there is a link there, lol!) : )
LOL Jen - a conspiracy!!
I really like the banana ice cream with strawberries....
hi Lupe :)
Beautiful Babbler!! I stuck with Etna, since I have actually walked on it (pre-2001 eruption, of course)
yay thanks eva
very pretty babbler!
wow, Jen! that's amazing! :)
thanks, Niamh :) and hi!
hello!
oh, and in case anyone was thinking of trying them, the new reeses peanut butter cups with caramel in them really arent very good... not that i have those now as well...heh
hi again evanadine : )
All this talk of sweets is making me want to go get a bag of potato chips! :)
afternoon babbler. :)
LoL Eva. My boyfriend bought me about 10-15 bags of the Hershey's chocolate/cookie mint nuggets when they went on sale after Christmas no knowing that I'd be going on a diet for my trip. Thank goodness he's storing them at his place - I eat those up fast!!
Okay, I have my potato chips now <<crunch crunch>>
well, i actually do mean it about the new caramel reeses...i love chocolate, and peanut butter, and caramel, but it seems id prefer a regular reeses to this new one. my tasty treat of choice lately is this cookie i discovered thats got key lime, coconut + white chocolate chips. *DROOLS*
I just had a lean cuisine four cheese pizza. eh. it was ok. It'll do the trick for now. I bought a bag of the baked doritos (yuk). Could not finish them.
The LC Spinach and mushroom pizza is awesome!!
i dont like the baked doritos, but i *LOVE* the light doritos...lotta places dont sell em, but if you can find em, buy them ALL!
jen, I've not tried that one. I will buy this weekend.
ummm....confuzzled. how have i managed to find 9 out of 8 D words??
If you do WW, it's only 6 points.
tell us the 9th, evan!
I mean, a hint please? ty : )
and the grid has accepted them all... :/ de4 7 de6 27 de7 40 de4 5 de4 de4 5 de4 5 de5 12 di4 5
evanadine - do a refresh, you might find one will disappear, the de4 (no other value). let me know?
ahh, youre right babbler -- it somehow picked up the same word twice. *DANG!*
bugs me when it happens to me, lol!! :D sorry about that, evanadine.
never seen that happen to me before... how odd!
any hints on the ma 7/32... I swear I've tried everything :/
ma 7... the place you shop - an L, + what you have 10 of on your feet, swap the two last letters
MA7 Ma4/5 (type of drink) + your foots fingers. subtract one of the Ts, and swap the last 2 letters around
ok... thank you, I figured it out... apparently I was trying everything with 6 letters not 7... gggrrr!
Done! I had one pesky P to go a-hunting for!
congrats Jen!!
yay jen!
gotta get some work done... be back in a bit
And with that, I guess I'll let my son take over the computer for a while and play on pbskids. Have a great afternoon/evening/night!! :)
bye Jen!
down to my last 3 if anyone can help: se 8/50, to 8/45 and la 6/24
SE + a friend or buddy (double the L) + past tense ending
TO your foots finger + dish
oh i got the la
For the se8 build on your se5/12
se 8/50 is a description of flowers - add to your se 5
hooray! thanks everyone, i'm done (with no a2z!) can i help with any clues?
la6/24 - Adverb of la4/4
*peeks in* hi all!
hey, temple!
get a life
all of you freaks
but you visit a lot too, molecule
smaller, don't encourage the troll
darleen, hi! where's a beefcake icon? i have needs you know!
may i have a couple of clues? please? last three be words - 4,6,7?
be - 2nd letter in Greek alphabet
be 6 and 7 sound like people who wager but with a different last vowel
sorry temple, i only have 1 word, just came on at molecule's friendliness. such a warm fuzzy to start the day and molecule was so nice the other day
smaller, lol. I just haven't been up to looking for someone new. Maybe tomorrow?
Temple ~type of fish that likes to fight with others in the fishtank, also a game that is being tested...it is in this form ~people who lay money down at the races are be******, (second be is plural of first)
thank you all for those fine clues. i am missing the al5/12 and the 4/4 below it, also...just cannot see them!
like the expression "Al** for the poor". The first word has a vowel at the end...the second one you want is like in the above statement
al4/4 is often combined with vera to make a soothing balm the al512 is an alternative spelling of al4/5
how about a clue for the last lo 5/10? thanks
pluralize al4/5, (the one with the vowel at end) to get al5/12
lo plus double beverage then vowel ending
lo5/10 lo + double consonant + vowel
thanks, all........ need the fish please...........
joey lol *hands joey a rose instead*
joey - you'll have to fight me for it : D thanks guys!
how nice, MissyMe - thanks
hey, TO - you can have the fishee, I got a rose..... na, na, na, na, na na
Yw lol
...but do you have re7/32? : P
re + pl5/12
ty missy : )
ooh - just realized i need only i more!!!!
yw :)

Temple...just saw that!!!! Yay!!!! ~%~%~%~%~fireworks~ %~%~%~%~
*perk* afternoon bugzy! about to leave here, so im wrapping things up. :)
LOL smaller... that's usually the way I get most of my words!!
Hey evanadine... Im jealous - still have an hour to go here. And it's sunny out, and I want to leave before it gets dark!!!
bye, evan! can i give a few clues before i go?
Temple, I could do with a clue for the bi's. Monkey typing isn't helping

Jeez, I have 101 words, and have yet to break 1000 pts.

kristina - se + friend
Got that one it's the bi5 and 6
Thank you Babbler..
bi5 - bi + first three letters of ***est child bi6 - plural
maisie: think a word that means pastures - change first letter to a b/ and pluralize
boa: a light day for clues but scroll back one or two and there are some
TY Temple you are so clever, I've never come across that word before. Thanks
Thanks :)
maisie: when stuck just type away - no penalty for wrong guesses or i'd be negative! : )
I have to go - see you tomorrow! happy babbling!
see you tomorrow, T-Owl : )
Bye temple and thanks for the tip
*waves bye to all* *throws kisses (hershey's dark) to all*
Bye 72TO :)

Hi Bugzy! Beautiful weather today....wish I could be out there enjoying it!! GGRRR!!
I hear you Lupe... I've got a half hour to go at work and I can't wait to get out!!! Supposed to snow tomorrow - yuk!
Hello again, everyone -- back from the orthodontist, which is what I'm going to me in my next life!
I have an hour left :-( Cold weather returns here tomorrow too. But considering that it's still technically above normal, I will not complain.
Cybernan - going for the big bucks!!
hello cybernan!
Hi Cybernan... the pay is good but can you imagine poking around in peoples mouths all day Yech!
Hi everyone!!
I see the et's are still there and I still have no clue -- Russian jail doesn't help.
I agree Bugzy - gotta have a strong stomach! And a bad sense of smell.
Hi Schroeder!
Hi Schroeder :)
I'm stuck on et's myself... :/
Cybernan - e plus ta4/5 (adhesive)
hello Schroeder!
any clues for sp 5/12 and 6/21... Combo... Bottom of list.. Please
HI Tinkerbell! et - i thought a gulag was a russian jail?
The last et5 looks like its related to word meanings. Has a short form of mother on the end.
I have an et 5/16.....et+sometimes letter + short for mommy
bugzy! thank you!
and tink!
wonderful! got 'em thanks guys!
Smaller are you playing nice today :)
Kristina - not a combo - the sp5/12 is the sound something squishy makes when it hits the ground. the 6/21 is the following sp5/12 with an L as the 3rd letter
well, temple owl just threw out some dark chocolate and I didn't kill anyone to get it ....yet ...so I'm improving
sp 5 12 what rain does if you don't clean the gutters sp 6 21 how a child might say to check a place out sp 5 12 the way ferns pollenate
Dark chocolate!!!! I knew I should have logged in sooner...
Thanks, bugzy -- that got me the first two.
those are the bottom 3 sp's of the right values kristina... hope that helps
yes you should have! and I'll even give you mine! you need to pork up a bit!
And I just monkey typed the last one.
Anyone heard from Mammabear today?
Thank you Bugzy... Thank you Niamh.. My daughter always says "Mommy please sp 6/21 that to me"... I should have known!!
not yet cybernan... :/
Is something wrong with mamabear cybernan?
YW. Anyone have the second pa5/16 - my monkeys aren't finding it!!
Not yet bugzy, sorry...
it's an adverb Bugzy...
What you do with your kids pa*** cake but change the 2nd to the last letter..
pa5/16, put a p infront of your al4/6
take the 5/12 above it drop the vowel on the end a put a sometimes vowel on it
I looked at the wrong p's ignore me sorry
Thank you all - never would have gotten that :)
Evening all
hello Yoink!
Hi Yoink ((((hug))))
hiya kids!
hi Yoink :) hi everyone :)
hey there Blue!
EB - do you draw all your icons??
Hi Sherb!!! How goes it?
hi Sherb! wow everyone is logging on... it's been kinda quiet for a while!
Kristinarose... most of them....I didn't for the Waltons & a few others like that...
Oops, Hi EasternBlue, looking lovely as always!!!
This one and yesterday?
hey Schroe...Niamh!
hi Schroeder :) ...good, thanks... just got home after working late...wondering whether to start the grid... ...and how are you?
Kristina - yes...
Hi y'all. Anyone heard from mamabear yet? Hope today is better than yesterday for her.
hi Niamh :)
not yet Sushi... waiting anxiously
Hi NiamH, Schro, Sherb Eastern and anyone else :)
OMG... They are wonderful!! How long did it take you to learn how to do it so well? And what do you use? Photoshop by any chance?
Ta-da! *waving as I run across the finish line*
SUSHI! Are you still at work? I am, just got done cleaning up from the test!
what's up with Mamabear?
Wow... everyone gets here just as it's time for me to leave... Happy Babbling everyone - see you tomorrow :)
three cheers for cybernan hip hip hooray! hip hip hooray! hip hip hooray!
Hi, everyone! I proctored an exam at work today, and got a lot of words to enter from my paper copy. Helped keep me from nodding off....sszzzzz
Kristina - I use paintbrush...it's 'rustic' compared to Photoshop (which I used to use in college) but 'cheap' in that it's already on my pc!! : )
see ya bugzy!
hi Bugzy :) ...sorry you can't stay...see you soon... :)
Sherb -- Mammabear is having problems with her family at the moment.
Congrats Cybernan!! Bye Bugzy!!
Bye Bugzy!
EB - It looks great... I'm in marketing so I create different pieces.. I use Photoshop, which I love!!
cyber - any hints for the to 8 (is it a fish word??) : )
re + po6/24
to 8: no fish -- foot digit + what you put your food on.
Kristina - did you do your icon? wow!! I've always enjoyed 'doodling'....but never any formal training...my PhotoShop skills are very limited!!
Eastern, it's a compounded word, to* that you have on your foot + what you eat off
Not this Icon.. I love to play with my daughter's pictures... I only started working with Photoshop for about a year or so.. Pretty easy when your playing around with it!!
re8 : to collect the votes again. se8: to contain a part of a flower (extension of se5) to8: compound word, the things on the end of your feet plus the thing you eat off.
all - thanks for the to 8... (and Missy for the others...still working on those!)
EB Yw :)
thanks cybernan... I just read back through last night's log
I just have photoshop elements -- still haven't figured out how it works! -- sure would like to know how to unlock layers on a downloaded jpg or gif file, though.
Bye Bugzy, Hi JBs, Congrats Cybernan, and I'm doing well Sherb....
I sit next to a photoshop wiz at work... want me to ask her?
Schroeder, I',m impressed that you kept us all straight. I have to keep going up and down the log to be sure I'm saying the right thing to the right person!
I have Elements too... I love the idea that I'm only using a tiny fraction of its capability... what a world of possibilities, if only I had the time...and the talent...
and the beer....??
That would be great, Niamh -- if the solution is lengthy, let me know and I'll post my e-dress.
JBsanno: sorry it took so long to respond. I was looking for words. I am at home, but we do our toest tomorrow and saturday - overtime! How was it for you.
I'm catching a ride home with DH in 15 minutes - gotta get typing!
Eastern Blue! OATY!! still doesn't work!
TY, Schroeder
Hey, Sushi! So glad NOT to be doing it on Saturday - we have people for whom that is a Sabbath. Test went great, but the pizza lunch was LATE! Arrrggghhh. I was more aggravated than the residents, though. They demolished the food when it finally got here!
smaller - I bet Dr_God read the log yesterday & made sure the 'word' was here but still wouldn't work - just to torment you!!
Eb- true, he's cruel that way
We're still spending Mexican money though.
JBs I'm surprised I got it right....
JB - we dont' buy lunch for them on test day. Seems on any other day we feed them constantly.
Looking good, Schroeder!
cybernan, she said that jpegs and gifs have been collapsed into one layer and cannot be seperated, there is a way to seperate the colors if that's what you want to do but it's lengthy process. she also said if you save it as a pdf and specify layers.... then she went over my head
I understand the photoshop language and what you describe can be difficult.
We don't feed 'em much, not a lot of $$ in the budget, y'know. Recruitment lunches, test days, and an occasional special occasion. I sometimes get pretty free with the meal tickets, 'specially if they look a little frayed around the edges.
It's already over my head, Niamh! -- I just wondered if there was a way to change a background from opaque/colour to transparent -- apparently not!
Hi Smaller!
there is cybernan, if you cut around everything
freehand?
we buy lunch every single wednesday as it is didactic day and there are lunch confernces. I feel like a part time caterer. my boss brought be back a big orange scarfy thing from her Hawaii trip. Look for me wearing it in Orlando....
cybernan - if it's a plain background, sometimes you can just fill it with a different colour using the paint kettle...
Do you look good in big orange? I can't wait to see it!
hold on... her wheels are turning
I'm glad I don't do the food stuff too often, because I usually get the cleanup too.
I've done that, Sherb -- what I want to do is make the background transparent.
HI Yoink! are you done yet?
If there's anyone here who needs clues, speak up, because we're all on different wavelengths in the log right now!!!!
she said check out mediacollege.com/graphics /photoshop/transparent/backgro und.html
36 to go Smaller, stuck on a ma6 at the moment
I look good in any color that covers cellulite.
transparent as in see through? ...sorry, don't know how to do that...
LOL!!! Sushi, I so relate!!!
Yoink - are the ma 6/21 driving you crazy... Cause they are driving me crazy!!
Lol Sushi.....
yoink, do you have the past tense of the shopping center...
ok... let me try that again http://www.mediacollege /graphics/photoshop/transparen t/background.html
Kristina, yes! I have one that you hit things with and one with a double vowel ending, but can't find the other at all
NV... just found them.. they were driving me frazy for a min or two
All the ma6's are form of the first ma4/5 Just keep adding endings...past tense, a type of hammer, double consonant and double vowel, and two different vowels at end
2 of them have a double vowel!!
thanks missyme!
YW smaller :)
Thanks MissyMe!
I'll catch you guys later tonight - I've got to go home now, and nurse my sore throat and achiness. Dang cold snuck up on my this afternoon. (cybernan is my inspiration, I WILL finish this grid tonight!) Bye Sushi, Schroeder, EB, Yoink, Kritina, MissyMe, sherb, Niamh, - I got a few more off the clues just now, thanks!!!
alright...one more time the log is cutting off stuff but I copied and pasted took out the spaces and this should work for you http://www.mediacollege .com/graphics/photoshop/transp arent/background.html
Yoink YW :)
bye jb!
Bye JB cya later
JBsAnno.... *sniffle* what about me?
Bye JB.. Hope you feel better.. That dang thing is going around ...
bye Anno :)
Bye JB :)
Thank you, Niamh -- sounds like a handy reference site to have in my bookmarks. :)
SMALLER - I thought I typed you in.... (sniffle, cough, hack, ouch!) dang code is really makin me all fuzzeeee see you later, smaller baby!
hey smaller :) ...just got a delivery from Amazon... books 4 to 10 in the Stephanie Plum series... should keep me going for a while...
THANKS JBsANNO!! have a good night!
you're welcome cybernan... she is a wealth of knowledge and really great at finding handy sites too!
How about that... I just got an Amazon.com order as well!
Hey Sherb! congratulations! I have yet to order #2. Joey's going to kill me!
Amazon is great...they deliver so fast, even when I use the free shipping.
Anyone want clues before I leave?
can I have a nudge on the be 6 & 7 please
I'm quite impressed with Amazon... easy to order, delivery is fast and prices are low... stiff competition for the bookshops...
nevermind I found them
be6 & 7 (plural): person who puts their money on a horse at the races.
both are people who make be* on horses
mo 6/27?? Please
mo 6/27: it's that pirates mo***** crew back on the grid.
in fact, I think I'll head off for an early night... and a good book... nite all you good people... see you soon :)
sherb, very true...plus if you don't mind a "hand-me-down" you can get books, cds and dvd's at VERY good prices from other Amazon shoppers
never fails, the minute I give up... I get it, but I can't just pretend to give up... that doesn't work, I've tried it too ggrrr!
Niamh... I had to leave suddenly before but I appreciate your mo6 clue... got it right away once I scrolled back...
Good night Sherb
Bye Sherb :)
Bye Sherb!!!!!!
Night Sherb!
Nite Sherb!!!
night sherb
YW Jera!
Niamh lol

Thank you Cybernan!!
hey cool volcano missy!
Eastern Blue! shame shame, we're far more important. Always stay here.
Off to other pursuits -- back at the flip :)
see ya cybernan!
bye cybernan!
Niamh Your's is pretty nifty too, coloring is so aminous looking
bye cyber...
Bye Cyber :)
Bye Cybernan!
Bye Cybernan!
I like it... it's my local volcano, the pretty colors are only clouds and a sunset... still looks ominous though
smaller - true... (unless it's work & my boss...)
I think mine is the alaskan volcano that's busy right now.
very nice... that's a recent photo?
Yeah :)
I'm glad it's secluded on an island...when Mt. St. Helen's blew the wind changed and we never did see any of it's ash...I felt so bad for those who did
we had about 5 or six inches of it on our car... it was more like a strange snow for me, not scary at all
Niamh I understand it is hard to remove if it gets wet and it gets into machinery
that makes sense, like a form of quick dry cement? I was very young at the time, so I didn't deal with all that.
...stalls airplanes, car engines and such...
it made very pretty glassware :)
lol
111 words, and only 972 points. Arrrg!! Me wants to break at least 1000 pts.
Boa...need any clues?
you can do it boatierra!!
Hi every one! I've just typed in a bunch of what I thought were nonsense words, and Babble took most of them. LOL
Hi Deutsch!! long time no see!!
Deutsch lol Babble is a good name for this game!
hello everyone...back for the finish I hope !!!
hey Deutsch that's par for the course here!
hi Karys!
Karys Hello :)
hi there karys!
Good to see you Eb !!
Hi EB, I've been teaching some classes, and that has unfortunatley taken me away from my beloved babble friends. :(
Hi Missyme......Hi Niamh .....:)
Deutsch - teach them about Babble! it's educational...
Deutsch Whats that in front of your volcano? Looks like a mars lander! lol
I actually did use babble last semester. I was showing how some people abbreviate words. Launched the babble site and showed some examples!
wonderful!! more into the fold I say...
Deutsch Were any of your students inspired to join the game?
MissyMe, it's a landrover painted like a zebra. It's stopped in front of an active volcano (Somewhere)
Finished!
No one was inspired to join the babble family. I tried, though!
Yippee for Yoink!
Deutsch Okay, it was the zebra paint through through me off
hooray for Yoink!!
Yoink!!! *throws rose petals*
sweet, im up to 1429
Woo Hoo - congrats Yoink!
Good going STP...you'll make it!
oops, meant 1434
is there some type of limit or something im aiming for???, is 1434 good, im new on here
Thanks all, any hints needed?
2635 total point today, 216 words. You can check daily at babblers anon (see box to rigiht) click general, click stats.
STP - 216 words today...2635 total points...
Need help with re5/12... I have what you do to plants that are too big for their container...
Welcome STP! There are 216 words total... If you click on Babblers Anonymous to the right and go to General then the first post is a great help to you. It is a list that lists the first two letters of each word, the number of letters in each word and the points awared for that word
re 5/12 what happens if you don't pay your car note
STP - welcome too!!
and another thing, STP. You get a lot of help and hints on the chat! LOL Welcome aboard!
thnx everyone...ill check that out
ruthy r u on?
Plural of the re4 before it Jera
Jera, it's plural of the re 4
Thanks... can't believe I forgot to pluralise... 7 to go & I need to leave for Girl Scouts as soon as the Sprite gets home!
I'm all done and I get to go home now AND it's my friday!! *does the happy dance*
Niamh Yay!!!!! *joins Niamh in Happy Dance*
Congrats NiamH!

ye + double consonant
Yea, Niamh!
thanks guys... I'll catch you all on the flip or tomorrow while I sit around in my jammas!!! *does another happy dance* bye!
Another ye4/6, both have a double consonant at the end
Niamh Bye :)
MissyMe - Naw. But Thanks for the offer. I'm just plod along and I'm just ranting.
what does 4/7 mean and 4X1?
got it, thanks
Bye Niamh, and I'm off too now. See you tomorrow
bye Niamh...bye Yoink
STP - its the starting 2 letters, the number of letters in the word & the point value (see babble rules link on the top of the grid) e.g. so 4/5 = word starts with so, has 4 letters for 5 points total
bye, Yoink! STP for example, ye 4/6 means it starts with ye and has 4 letters and is worth 6 points. did I get that right, everyone?
4 is letter count in word 7 is the points awarded to that word
alright, thnx for all the help
Wow, EB and MissyMe, we are channeling each other!
need a clue for sp6/21, pls?
When we give or ask for clues we go like this: I need a clue on the first ap4/5 someone answers: ap4/5 someone who is a mimicker or ap**
doxy - if you go on an adventure, you might ex _____ a new area....take off the 'ex' & add an 's'
sp6/21 sp + first lo4/4
thanks missy. Hi to everyone.
Deutsch - all that time away & we're still in sync!!
thanks EB, also.
Hello Doxy and YW
weird, ain't it?!?
Hi doxy!
Deutsch I was doing that with Babbler two days ago...we stayed in sync the whole time...infact, that word was in the puzzle at the time lol
That's so weird. Anj and I were in sync for a couple of days. We decided the geo satelite was geo-syncked above our heads! LOL
That's so weird. Deutsch and I were in sync for a couple of days. We decided the geo satelite was geo-syncked above our heads! LOL
Anj lol
ello sha
ello ruthy
you are too funny!! btw...hi doxy (and yw from before).... & hi Anj

Hi All : ) I think I might have freaked Deutsch out with that last post.. ; )
hooray asked if u were on just now ruthy how u doing?
Anj, you are a nut! Glad to see you!
i need 43 words
You did freak me out. I had to get up and look around the room and make sure you weren't lurking nearby! LOL
Deutsch, I'm sorry, but that was like the last warm donut in the bag...just toooo good to resist : ) Great timing tho' : )
Deutsch lol
ello easternblue sha i need 39
hiya easternblue
It was indeed priceless. Love it and am still grinning !
Anj...still you finish Judas Unchained yet?
who's in sync?? : )
Hey Babbler!!! Hiya :)
Hiya Missy! : )
Hi Babs... Anj & Deutsch... Deutsch, MissyMe & I....
Babbler...are you just starting on the puzzle?
Hi Babs, not me ; ) Missy, yup, very good book, proper page-turner. Hamilton's right up there with Dan Simmons after that one.
ooooh! I started painting a volcano, EB, but I gave up fast! Yours is lovely! : ) hiya!
no Missy, I finished earlier today. : )
Anj! lovely icon!! hiya :)
thanks Babs...can't wait for the circus tomorrow...I've already 'painted' it!!
Anj I CANT wait for it to come out in the states...still a few weeks to go. *sigh*
hi kids. once again you may notice I am without a themed icon, but I've some to grips with that and admire all yours with great respect and just a touch of jealousy. oh yeah, and does anyone have a clue for the one slimy no-good s word stemming from the upper left s?
hi boreetos!
hi boreetos... we love you even if you don't change your icon!! 8 D
hi deutsch!
Oh, and SPOON!
ho boreetos!! s + mo4/5 ?
thanks EB!! I was on for the superhero day!!
Hi Boreetos - just stick the S in front of your mo4/5 : )
boreetos I think you want the little guys who go up the birth canal and fertilize the egg
*waves hi to Deutsch* long time no see : )
Babbler, it's the Giggenheim volcano...it's a heat pic as it's covered by the Pacific : )
boreetos Is your icon The Tick?
I haven't heard of the Giggenheim, Anj. wow!
heck yes it is the Tick! SPOON!!! oh and I must not have the mo4/5 you speak of, because the three I do have do not work on the end of it.
Hi babbler! It's the beginning of the year and people want to learn stuff. So I've been trying to teach them stuff. but I have no training set for Friday. Should be able to get an early start. How you been?
oh, and Hi Anj, Babbler, Missyme, did I miss anyone?
Missy, it really is a gripper. As usual, he leaves a few unanswered Qs at the end, but that's opn purpose as they just skirt the main issues and add that enigmatic touch...
Bor, it's the one that sounds like milk shake...or whisky...or what animals do with their coats sometimes...
That cartoon was sooo funny! :D the word you want: s + what a snake does to get rid of his old skin
I've been ok, thanks, Deutsch! I didn't play much over Christmas/New Year either as I was visiting my family. :)
Bye all...going to get some dinner... I'll be back later!
Awesome! thanks MM!!
see you later, EB : )
bye EB!
k EB bye :) Anj I've been waiting for this sequel, now I'm piqued!
bye EB
Later, EB.
Garage! They garage their skin : ) I know someone like that...the shed wasn't big enough... : /
You're welcome boreetos
Anj...very punny :p
oh Anj... that was...uh...special.
Finally home (was here about 2 hours ago). Hi everybody! Who's channeling who today?
Very deep thought, Babbler!
JB Anj was channeling Deutsch
why thank you, JB! and hi :D
Babble...that's too much information...
how u doing ruthy? i still need 32 words
I couldn't hold myself back....!! lol!
.
lol! It was a wardrobe thing... Missy, there's treachery in Judas Unchained right up to the end. They way he's left it leaves it open for a stand-alone or even a follow-on although it's not a cliff hanger as it's only a two-book series : )
very profound, Missy! I couldn't agree more! so well put! :D
Anj I was getting worried there...I would have been upset to find out it will continue on after being led to believe it was only a 2-book affair
Babble!
Babbler...notice how all the stanzas line up in perfect sync?
Just testing....
I'm gonna have to check that out, MissyMe, you're making it sound reeeeaaallll good. Who's the author?
no, I didn't Missy!! wow!! lol :D
what are you testing, Anj?
okay kids. I'm off once again. See ya'll on Circus Friday!!
Peter F. Hamilton But read his first book in the series called Pandora's Star before you read Judas Unchained
Bye boreetos :)
bye boreetos : ) good to see you!
Bye boreetos! I, too am off to chop and slice and stir stuff!
Deutsch Bye bye :) cya later
Babbler, I was just checking to see if there was an easier way of putting links in the chatlog but all the code is disabled, which is probably just as well...
bye Deutsch : ) good to see you again too!
bye deutch

SE 8/50to contain a part of a flower (extension of se5)
Thanks, MissyMe! Bye Boreetos, Deutsch, see you later. I'll be popping in and out over the next few hours, as dinner, cats, cleaning, and a sniffly husband all need my attention too.
Don't I know it Ruthy. Might as well get right to the grovelling. I need clues for the Ma7-32, the Re7-21 and the To8-45. *raises bowl and attempts Oliver's doe eyes*..."More please, sir?"

Oops - I meant Missy!
But before I go, (oo, oo, hand waving in the air) Does anyone want to know what my icon is? Huh? Anyone? <grin>
Boa! alright!
ma7 - make ma4/5 into a sugar
I do!!!
there is no re7/21 t8 - foot digit + what you eat off
14 points I am done. As long as I get on the list I am happy.
No Re7-21! I er ah just wanted to see if you guys were paying attention.
can anyone please give me aclue for the first al 5/10

Ma7-32, the Re7-21 and the To8-45 ma7/32 ma4/5 above it + "That was a cl*** call!" (last three letters) re7/21 re + second pl4/5 to8/45 compound word, the things on the end of your feet plus the thing you eat off.
camy159 Well done!!!! *throws rose-scented confetti*
Yes, you there <pointing at doxy>! Thank you for asking. It's a view of the Caldera in the Aegean sea, and of course, there's a cat in the picture... Thank you - I had to research that one! Later!!
Goodbye all!!!
Ruthy - a + double consonant + double vowel
Thanks, Missy. I meant to say the Re7-32 was the other clue I was looking for.

Trying to make dinner and Babble at the same time. This should be amusing.
ruthy use the sometimes vowel to the word above
chocolate scented confetti - yummy!
pl 5/16 drop the vowel on the word above it and add a funn"y" vowel

I thought you left Anj... *writes down his last post in her notebook to refer back to*
Judi! You're the only one that got that!
Anj! You lurker!
sorry Missy, I read that as "Can we have... " no we haven't had rockets yet. : )
I think Anj is working on the puzzle! : ) (just to leap in and defend a friend!)
Evening EvaN : ) Missy, I was distracted by another site : ) Hey, i'm reading Alistair Reynold's 'Pushing Ice' now and that's shaping up to be a good one as well...
well.. .. looks like I was wrong... :/
Babbler...I would like that though, so many "poetic" possibilities ;)
All in favour of rockets as a theme, say aye! :)
16 E words. How the *bleep* do ya get 16 E words out of this? I have one so far.
Good evening chaps and chapesses :o)
Anj I just wrote that title down. I was feeling nostaligic recently so I am re-reading Michael Crichton's The Andromeda Strain

Thanx Babbler!!! Woot...we got Rockets!
ummm.... Missy, it's scheduled for 14 March..... the Ides of March!! is that good or bad?
Sounds good Bobsta : ) I expect we can get Bear in there as well : )
isnt the ides on the 15th?
I KNOW!!! Shall we have a Roman Day on 14 March, Ides of March, and have Rockets the next day? What say you?
Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it infamy!! : )
sounds good to me...I'm sure Bill Shaks-pee-aire woudln't mind :)
I thought ides of march was the 15th???
...er, I thought it was the 13th...
very good, Evanadine! It USED to fall on the 15th of roman month Martius, but that corresponds to 14th March today. (reading wikipedia!!) : )
I thought ides were something you shouldn't feed meat to, especially during a full moon...
Anj!! Carry On Screaming!!! LOL! :D
ooh, what do i win??
Anj, you're not wrong either .... In the Roman calendar the ides of March fell on the 15th day of the Roman month of Martius (although it should be noted that this would correspond to March 14 today, due to differences in the way that the months were calculated). The Ides was an auspicious day in the Roman calendar, falling on the 15th of March, May, July and October and on the 13th of the other months.
heh heh heh, i'm sure she can make the pilgrimage!!!! anyhoo, absolutely knackered now so i'm gonna head off. a quick in and out (reference to missyme's earlier post). TTFN guys *waves*
lol Bobsta bye bye
bye Bobsta! glad you're better and see you again soon : )
All bow to the great Google: "...perhaps Julius Caesar got the dates of the warning mixed up. He may have been thinking that the Ides of March fell on the 13th. In the ancient Roman calendar, each of the 12 months had an "ides." In March, May, July and October, the ides fell on the 15th day. In every other month, the ides fell on the 13th. The word "ides" was derived from the Latin "to divide." The ides were originally meant to mark the full moon - but since the solar calendar months and lunar months were of different lengths, the ides quickly lost their original intent and purpose" huzzah!
*hands Eva her first prize, super-delux, double-decker,The Mysterious Rosetta stone of Babble*
...hence my moon joke a few posts back...
*nibbles on rosetta stone of babble* dang, not made outta chocolate or anything else tasty!!
Wow What we learn by playing this game!!! Hi Everyone:)
sorry to be a pain i have two left which is the mo 6/27 and pl 5/16 could someone if possible give me the clues to these
so........... are we doing Ides of March on 13th, 14th, or 15th, or what??? ; )
hi speed :)
mo6/27 - think of rock group Mo**** Crew
mo6/27 - 80s band or Shakespeare reference Mo**** Crue pl5/16 - dish minus last letter + sometimes vowel
'nite Bobsta : ) Hi Speed : ) EvaN, it must be nougat...
pl5/16 - think dinner pl***, exchange sometimes vowel for last letter.
lol Eva...too bad you're not an extremophile...you could eat rock!
mmmm......nougat
pa6/24 and pa7/36 do they go with your hand or am I in the wrong spot Thank You
Never mind on the p's finally went up instead of down DUH!!
Babbler I always though ides were half the month gone...so any of those days is actually correct. I think it's the reason why Shakespere specifically stated it was the ides of March...as opposed to June, July or whatever
you are right. they go with your hand
I was thinking that, Missy. We don't know when the full moon was when Julius Caesar was stabbed, do we?
I don't quite remember, it was a bit before my time. But some astronomer could probably figure it out
i just know that i was explicitly taught that the ides of march in julius caesar meant the 15th... so im guessing someone did the math at some point...heh
eva no doubt someone did
you want to write to wikipedia - they are peddling lies!! ; )
OOH!!! stephen lynch on comedy central!! *swoon*
lol Babbler!!! Wikipedia is actually a contribution by just anyone who has something to add to the site...so they could be wrong
...I think you will find it was Brutus, lol.... : )
can anyone please give me a another clue for the mo 6/27 and also sp 6/21 thanks
lol Anj
Eva - the person who taught you.... how do you know they were right in the first place? ahaaaaaaa!! ; )
the date, Anj, not the perpetrator! ; )
sp6/21 - sp + lo4/4
OH!!! you mean Brutus was peddling the lies!! duh! I'll just go empty the washing machine..... busy busy.... :/
ummmm....see, they were like totally direct descendents from the people who like were totally there and saw it happen.... and they like totally passed down the correct date to my teach for the sole purpose of her teaching me. so THERE!! :P
mo 6/27 and also sp 6/21 Them are a mo**** bunch 'o pirates! Means disshelved, unruely, an odd assembly of items or people
Eva ...I totally understand...
thank u all
sha YW
Please may i have a clue on SE/50

SE/50 to contain a part of a flower (extension of se5) or... se + first pa6/24

Any clues for de 6/27 and 7/40... Please
Kristen I did that with mo6/27 I knew it was there, thought I had typed it in...then when I got to the mo's I was struggling trying to find the last one...I apparently had mistyped it when I thought I had put it in earlier...very frustrating!
Kristina, opposite of creditors : )
de 6/27 and 7/40 When someone owes you money they are a de****, (continuation of de4/7 above these two words)
I know.. I hate that.. WHen you think you have a word you enter it in so fast, cause your happy you found it..
Thank you MissyMe.. I only have 15 words and 10 min to finish.. Thanks again
Yw Kristin...go go go!
are there rules about the clues we can say here?
*mutters* must still be in stealth mode... : / Comms, can we have a ping please? : )
Joeypapi What we try to do is just not include the actual word in the clue
joey...can't use words that appear
Anj oh...hi...oh...there you are!!!
*ping!!*
but theres somme sort of clue system i dont get. always the first two letters... then what are the numbers following?
ping as in pong...ping as in chu...ping as in ping, ping pin ball?
or ping as in shop-ping???
ping...as in...just how slow am I pinging the internet today? Oh? So...I shouldn't enter any races against turtles right now?
the amount of letters joey
ping as in "top viewing figures in all nearby sonars" a.k.a. suicide in submariner speak...
joey - have a look in Babble Rules (at the top of the page).
lol babbler....i like that ping...8)
Joeypapi Click on Babblers Anonymous at the right...then General...the first post is a list of the first two letters, the number of letters in each word and the number of points for each word.
ah, i see now ;) thx
anj - i'm on lo right now...there is no waters to submerse my sub...8)
Joeypapi the clues we give look like what you can see on the list on Babblers Anonymous. Example: ap4/5 ap is the first 2 letters in the word 4 is the number of letters in the word 5 is the points awarded when you complete the word
Ren, saw a feature on Jay Leno's 1000bhp Olds Toronado the other night. Talk about a tyre-smoker... : /

I think some of them are...like the tank car. They were talking about putting a Merlin engine in a Bentley on the same show. Scary stuff. He certainly features on the dvds... The prog was called Rides, but I don't think it was a Speed channel thing.
got the de.. Now only the gr 5/14... Please
mo7?
Ren, yup, with 375bhp. GM supplied a replacement unit, but there's no fwd set up that can handle the extra 625 ponies from the twin turbos so they went to rwd...
de 5/12 - last one gr - 5/14 - First one mo 5/16 - First one right after ma 7/36 de5/12 this is a land mass gr 51/4 g + rhymes with first mo4/5 mo5/16 girl's name, (mo4/5 + sometimes vowel)

peri mo6/27 think of the band mo**** crew
Peri..think of Mo. Crew for the 6 letter
Hello peri :) ma7/32 and mo6/27 ma7/32 Almost spelled like the Bogart film "The Ma***** Falcon, (change the first "e" to an "o") mo6/27 this is like the rock group Mo**** Crew, or like "There's a mo**** bunch o' pirates
Thanks, but I already had the mo6/27 *blushes* still need ma7/32 though
thanks for the MA clue, missy.
lianakate Hello :) And YW
help with re7/32 and first re6/21
hi, missy :) Been gone for awhile..and my ratings are really suffering..but, what the heck..i only play for an hour or so a day...:)
peri re + pl5/12
Peri re7/32 and first re6/21 re732 re + another word for dish (pl5/12) re6/21 re + a little dot (second sp4/5)
thanks macuser
lianakate I try not to look at my ratings...it's no fun scrolling down and down and down and down....lol
thanks MissyMe, got the re7, already had the re6/21 you gave a clue for, sorry, I need the last re5/21
peri re6/21 re + pl4/5
As long as we're on the R's... Need clues for 2nd Re6-21 and Ro5-10. Missy? You're my ace tonight.
re + po4/5
peri re5/21 re + first po4/5
2nd Re6-21 and Ro5-10 re + first po4/5 ro + double consonant + vowel
I was just thinking..if you can use all those other re words in this puzzle..some sound errr..dumb...why cant you REMOP the floor, eh?
re 6/21 - gather opinions again
I wondered the same thing! I guess cleanliness is not next to Babbliness :)
Thanks everyone, had those words, just recounted my Re words and I am missing the first re6/21 , it is hard for me to keep track when there is more than one word with the same # of letters and points.
ro 5/10: when you do something on auto pilot, you do it by ro** -- take that word and double the middle consonant
re6/21 re + another word for dish (pl5/12)
peri re6/21 re + pl4/5
first re 6/21: plan your course again
Good night all, and thank you so much for the clues..Am leaving with only 135 found, but the flu makes you tired for a while..God Bless
Missy got the Ro5-10, but need a clue for the 2nd Re6-21, not the first.
opps...got the wrong re word there Peri :) macurser did the right one you wanted
bless you cybernan, that was the re I was missing
Me too, Cybernan. Now, on to the S's.
Almost done, peri?
need help with ro6/21, gr6/30 and ma7/32
ro 6/21: past tense of ro 4/4 (on a ro**)
no cybernan, still have 55 words to find :(
2nd Re6-21 there's 3 re6's ~ re + second pl4/5 ~ re + first po4/5 ~ re + second sp4/5
peri the ma is a sugar that you see on a lot of food labels
thanks cyber got the ro6
Spam, it's not just for dinner...IT'S A WORD! Apparently, this game doesn't know that.
gr 6/30: double final consonant of the 4/6 and add 3pt. consonant ma 7/32: first three letters of ma 4/5 + foot digits scrambled
thanks aknitter, found the ma7
Judi I don't know why it's not accepted...oh well
judi not only can you spam but you can spam again (respam)
spam doesn't work but the palindrome does ;)
cybernan, don't have the gr4/6 yet
spam spam spam spam spam spam spam spam spam spaaaaaaaaam ! Wonderful spam!....
There are a lot of strange and questionable words here, but as they all add the same suffixes to the root words time after time, they're not too hard to find.
gr4/6 g + something that has gone bad, rhymes with "hot"
I think it was in yesterday's puzzle that I noticed Dr. God finally added "oreo" to the acceptable list.
Peri -- think cave or a man-made alcove with a pool of water in it.
cyber I totally agree, like putting a T and L together with no vowel in between...it just looks strange!
MissyMe and cybernan, thanks for the gr hints
No oreos in todays puzzle. But there is S'mores!
YW peri trying to make up for my screw up on the re words! lol
need help with la6/24 and ma5/14
la 6/24: recently
hehe love smores.....actually means "Some Mores" like, give me some more of those!
ma5/14 rhymes with pa5/14
ma 5/14: plural of ma 4/6 (short for madam with a consonant stuck in the middle)
Missy, I like everything about smores except the marshmallows. They make me gag.
got the la6, cyber, thanks
The ma is actually a kind of brick
ma5/14 is the plural of ma4/6
Judi I love roasting mushmellers over a campfire...yummy!
I like roasting them too. I just don't like eating them.
Judi lol!!!
You're making me hungry -- better go and get supper on! Back later :)
macuser and cybernan, thanks, never heard of that ma4 word before, learn lots of new ones with the game, not many to use in everyday converation though 8)
I don't know what it is about them. I must have overdosed on them once when I was a kid. "Barfmallows".
Woohoo! Done! Thanks for all the great clues :) Time for dinner. Good luck everyone.
First time I had s'mores it was camping in highschool with a group of kids. Our camp leader put a sheet over himself and used two flashlights to simulate eyes then stood way off in the woods and 00ooo0000'd at us. I near fainted!!!
macuser Well done!!! *throws pastel confetti around* Cya later :)
Phooey. Thought I had all the Y's. Need the 2nd Ye4-6.
ye** AT SOMEONE WHEN YOU GET ANGRY!
Judi, ye4/6 to scream
Got that one. Must be the 1st ye4-6, then.
ye + double consonant sorry about that
Judi same as the other ye4/6 but enDs with a different consanent
No Judy...you were right, its the second ye4/6
Periwinkle - have that one too. That's the Ye4-7, though.
need help with po words, first po4/6, first po5/14, po6/24 and first po6/21
the second ye is almost like another word for Big Foot but drop the "i" and add a double consonant
Judi, it is the last ye you need then, ends with a double consanent
Finally got it, Missy. Thanks. Peri, first Po4 is lyrical or rhyming prose.
po4/6, "How do I love thee, let me count the ways" <---one of these first po5/14, plural of above po6/24 and past tense of word above it (po4/5) first po6/21 person who actually takes the first po4/5
YW Judi I'm headed out a bit to make dinner :) cya soon
missing the 2nd pa5/16
pa5/16 This is "absolutely" or pa*** correct!
MissyMe, can't get it from your clue also need help with pl5/16
pa5/16 Girl or Boys name, Pa* + a correct"ly" added suffix pl5/16 another word for dish but drop the "e" at the end and add the sometimes vowel
See ya, Missy. Maybe I'll be done by the time you finish dinner (tonight as opposed to tomorrow).
Judi...you don't have many to go :)
thanks MissyMe, and in the words of one of our fellow babblers that pa5/16 is a stupidhead word!
I agree...I mean, like cyber said, the grid won't take remop but it will take a word like that GEESH
Last Sp6-21? Anyone? Anyone?
missing the last po6/21 any clues please I'm new here

Need help with ta5/14 and ta4/4 right after it
ta 5/14 add y to the 4/4 above it
Hello back :)
the ta 4/4 after it is a famous ski place
ty aknitter
ta4/4 ta + two-letter latin word for bone
Judi you still here somewhere?
missing some A words; al5/12 and2nd and third al4/5 (I think) there are 3 of them
marigold, are you playing?
se help any one?
al5/12 and2nd and third al4/5 al5/12 "Al** for the poor" add an "e" after the third letter...this is plural of word above it, al4/5 al4/5 famous Swiss mountains Al**
why isn't spam a word
ty again, MissyMe
~se + another word for friend ~se + another word for friend + past tense ~sounds like opening in letter, Dear S***, only spelled with an "e" instead of an "i"
yw peri :)
missy, another word for friend? can't see it.
missing an mo4/14 already have the person who is sad
aknitter on that second se8/50 I forgot to add it has a double consonsant, another added to the friend word
starts with a P
found the mo5/14 another plural
Peri mo4/14 plural of the root word you just mentioned
ty for the se's i finally got the clue, needed that p nudge
missing the first pa6/24
pa6/24 past tense of word above it
Spam is not a valid word? Say it ain't so ;) (I am sure five people have already said that).
jaelithej lol It is a word but sometimes that happens, the puzzle doesn't accept real ones on occasion
any one have the ep word????
ty MissyMe, could have sworn I had typed that one in already
peri I get so frustrated when I do that...
I know, I've been a lurking Babbler for a while now. It's just that sometimes the <i>injustice</i> still gets to me. *sniff* *tear* ;)
aknitter ep + two-letter latin word for bone
jaelithej lol
ty missy me monkey typing was getting me no wherer on that one
aknitter YW my monkey must have eaten some brain food this morning because I got that one on the first try.
i think my monkey quit!
Finally, Done!
the el word was the one that threw me for a loop...took me forever to monkey-type find it
Yay, Angel, yay Angel!
Angelsong! Well done!! *throws stardust around and sings hosannahs*
missy...did you say el word? Care to share? I just started and I need all the help I can get to finish in time. :)
kristinc It's a weird word...here goes: The leaders of the church are called el****, drop the "er" and the end and leave the "s"
yet another stupidhead word, don't you agree?
another way to say it is way someone who drops their "L"s might say....He h*** on to the rope for dear life...
Been working on the puzzle, how is everyone 2nite?
man, sorry...I mean drops their "H"'s boy am I screwing up right now !!! lol
Hello JoJo...fine and you?
Missy: Gearing up for our Sunday Seahawks game.
Hey, JoJo! MissyMe is gamely holding up the chat log, as everyone is working hard on finishing.
Go Seahawks! :)
jojo - doing well here
Oh, and who are the SeaHawks playing, Jo? I've got a wicked cold, and have sneezed the memories of last week's games right out of my head. Except, of course, the interception that was ruled not an interception. Oh no. Some things I will NOT forget, no matter how hard I sneeze!
JB: I never finish the game, but enjoy playing it anyway. It is NOT a top priority for me to finish the game, ~~ like a lot.
quickie qlues: re8 : to collect the votes again. se8: to contain a part of a flower (extension of se5) to8: compound word, the things on the end of your feet plus the thing you eat off
JB sorry you're not feeling well
JoJo I must be obsessed...I won't start the puzzle unless I believe I can finish it.
All: Sehawks are playing the Carolina Panthers. On the east coast the Seahawks are getting little respect. But, we are going to play, and I believe,~~I believe we will win. Yeh, that one call last weekend has already been ruled bogus. That ref is not refing this weekend. Hmmm~~ wonder why?
A belated thanks to you missy for the el word...my computer wasn't refreshing!
kristin...I'm so glad you made it through that clue I gave you...I was messing up!
And a belated GO SEAHAWKS as well!
Missy: This is a game, enjoy what you can get out of the puzzle, but don't obsess, there is a lot of other things to be obsessed with in life, babble is not one of them.
must...take...JoJo's...advice ... argggg.....must...finish. ..puzzle...
Kritinc and Everyone: Is everyone really truly routing for the Seahawks? What I hear from the media, the east coast is saying that we are not contenders. Thx tho, for all your support. Hope the Seahawks go to the SuperBowl.
Go Missy Go - I'm behind you 101% - when I start I need to finish !!!!!
oldhousejunky exactly the way I am, I can't stand leaving things undon... e.....there!
But of course...I live in Seattle! This is big time stuff out here and I don't mind a longshot, it is still great fun! Except my husband is a pastor and he's afraid no one will come to church on Sunday :)
I'm rooting for them...
OldHouse: I'm behind Missy as well, but don't egg her on, if, perhaps she can't solve the puzzle. It isn't like it would be the end of the world or something like that.
kristin lol
Kristinc: Hey, another Seattlite!! WhooHoo. The game isn't until 3:30 on Sunday. The morning services for your husband minister should be just fine, tell him to loosen up. Maybe have him schedule the evening services after the game. That would work.
Oh JoJo - this game or obsession becomes a personal vendetta with me. It becomes me vs. the puzzle. It has captured me and has me in its possession. I must babble, I must babble, I must babble, I must......
oldhousejunky lol!
Missy: Thx for routing for the Seahawks. Where are you located?
hello everone.....ro5/10?
California, a little town near Auburn in the foothills. I like rooting for the underdog...I get tired of seeing the same faces
Hello Tim :) ro5/10 ro + double consonant + vowel
Tim - ro 5/10 - something smells ro----- without the last letter
JoJo...good point. We've more been joking about it being a light day since hardly anyone was able to get tickets anyhow. What was it, something like 2000 extra tickets were sold to the public?!? Thanks to Missy for your Seahawk cheering. I always pick the underdog too.
Tim...you valcano picture is so enticing...
thanx OHJ........ :-) .....15 more.
like that missy? yours is so internal.
lol Tim I went the scientific route
Go Broncos......I have 2 tickets to Sundays game....
Tim...wow...I've never been to a Superbowl...are they nosebleed seats?
so6/18? pa5/18?
Hello from one who loves statistics. How is the order of those with perfect scores figured???
Tim so6/18? so + la4/4 pa5/18? pa4/6 + sometimes vowel
Its just the AFC Championship game.....50 yard line ,,,bout 15 rows back.....Yea
Kentagram Looking at the statistics I would say they're marked as done once an hour...so you get many people in a row with the same statistics
Hey Hey Guys, the Seahawks are not the underdog. In Vegas, the betting is going 8-5 that the Seahawks go to the Superbowl, not rading about this weekend, but, of course, they have to win this weekend to get to the Superbowl. Don't know what the line says yet, but the betting is going for us. How about those apples?
*hands Tim some tissues* Have fun, though!
Any clues on the de 6?
JoJo The stakes are higher on the underdog so you have more people betting for them...eventually it looks like they're the favorites...just a thought
It will be the Broncos and the Hawks come Feb.5th....mark my word.
MissyMe, I don't understand your answer. Does that mean the first names appearing finished earliest, so it's in order (sort of) of who finishes first??
Tim: Go Bronco's. I have been trying desperately to get 'free" tickets over the radio for the Seahawks on Sunday. My name hasn't been called. But, you enjoy your Bronco game.
thanks Jo Jo....and I will......
de 6 this is the person who is the de4/7 word above...opposite of creditor
Kentagram It seems that way. Whoever finishes first gets listed first but, lets say, within the first hour, everyone finishing in that hour will have the same statics
*statistics...not static lol
Tim: Really? Think it will be the Bronco's and Seahawks. We were in your league years ago, when you had Elway. Elway was not only a good QB but a good citizen and family man. BUT, on the field, I hated him. Elway always beat the Seahawks.
JoJo...I think you're right-rankings wise they're not the underdogs but nationally they're not getting a lot of credibility. In my uneducated opinion think they stand a good chance. If nothing else, the fans in Seattle are crazy!
MissyMe -- Thanks. But where are the scores posted hourly? I thought they only appeared at the stroke of midnight (1:00 am my time!)
having trouble with the la words, keep coming back to them same results.....nada...zip......ne ed la5/12, la6/21, and la7/32?
Kristinc: Yeah, we are crazy here in Seattle. Haven't seen this kind of hype since 1995 when the Mariners advanced 'finally' to playoffs. We are definitely in hype mode around here.
Kentagram There not posted until the puzzle is completed and a new puzzle is in place. What I meant is how the final posting does look...
Now your gonna see "Jake the Snake" beat em!
Tim: Got me on that one!! Who is Jake the Snake?
la5/12, you're having a la*** in memory la6/21, add an "r" to the word above la7/32 plural of word above, (la6/21)
Jake Plummer...Our QB
Got it Tim. Go Denver. But if you win this weekend and the Seahawks win, I will not be saying go Denver. Nothing personal, just regional. Understand?
I feel ya Jo Jo......go seahawks!...... for now. ;P
thanks missy......
YW Tim
the 6 and 7 versions of that word are silly...
need 10 more ....for some reason I cant get any of the ma6 words.....theres 4 of them, and I cant find not a one
I think Im an la....
Sorry, Babble game is called on account of Nyquil. Thanks JoJo, I hope the Seahawks win!! Gotta go to bed, catch you all on the log tomorrow.
ma6 all of them are forms of the first ma word, just add different suffixes ~ a type of hammer ~ double vowel ~ two different vowels
JBsAnno Goodnight, hon. Hope you're feeling better and get a good night's sleep tonight
goodnite JBs. Feel better!
thanks missy...6 more
Tim...and plenty of time to get them. Go Go Go!
4 more.......to6/21...to6/21
Hello.
to6/21 past tense of word above it (to4/4) to6/21 plural of word above it (to5/12)

tahnks again missy....the firt grid over 200 words Ive completed.....almost did it last nite......
Wow Tim kudos!
lol..isnt that the truth
Hello.
good nite Missy......
Night Tim :)
yikes! I can't find the middle pa 6/24, 7/36 or 5/14 but I have the 5/18. What I can't figure out is that I think they're based on the pa 4/6 just above but I'm really lost. help!
OK. I'm back. Got a call from my daughter. How's it going?
middle pa 6/24 add "er" to the word above it (pa4/6) 7/36 or plural of word above 5/14 plural of pa4/6 all the words above have to do with the flat part of the inside of your hand
Missy: arrgh! All I had to do was look up instead of down! Ah...how silly am I. Thanks :)
kristin You aren't alone...so many did the same thing not realizing that word went both ways
sorry...been munching on candy necklaces.... bye Tim (in case you're still here...) Hi Harp!! Hi Kristin!

Hiya, a clue for sp 6/21, please...
chic...okay I'm a bad clue giver but it is a quiet night so you're stuck with me sp 6/21-another word for discover would be exp****, take off the ex at the beginning and replace it with an s.
tu, kristinc...gr 6/30?
gr 6/30: start w/ the gr 4/6 right before it, double the final letter and add the sometimes vowel
tu kristinc...
chic...I am off for the night. (Just so you know you're not being ignored) Good luck!
