you're right, of course, but babble accepts welsh as the verb 'to welcs = not paying debts', not as an adjective describing things from Wales
what? To welsh? I checked a couple of dictionaries and I didn't find a definition as that, only pertaining to Wales or the language...funny. American word? Meanwhile, 'Merkin' is not accepted! MERKIN!!!! grrrr
