Lotsa work when you have good luck.. used to start "putting up" at the end of August and worked through October when we had three huge gardens.. but, yes, when I opened the green beans in the winter, it was like opening a jar of sunshine.. son did not appreciate the brussels sprouts at Thanksgiving.. called them "garbage balls", a nickname that has stuck
That is a nice site Aloy, but you don't have to spend that kind of money to do container gardening. I saw the most clever hanging herb garden that someone did with an old shoe hanger that you put on the back of your closet door.
