In case you haven't noticed, I love to play Babble; & I love to chat.
Be kind to others; you don't know what trials or battles that other person is having in their lives; and many people who are chatting here want to relax & talk with friends.
I am old enough & have seen enough hurt in this world that I will tell someone if they are being rude, hurtful, or mean. Sarcasm isn't funny in a game chat room and is often quite nasty.

My husband has had MS for 36 years now. He has done very well for 32 of those 36 years; but these past several years have been bad for him. He has memory & mobility difficulties, & it's been harder & harder to care for him these days, so we moved into assisted living in Sept.2020. It's been quite the transition, & I'm glad I'm a retired RN & have always watched for new symptoms & assisted him in dealing with this chronic condition. An odd comfort about living here is that many other residents have gone through similar experiences of caring for sick &/or dementia spouses & understand how important it is to vent at times & also take time away from him too, even if it’s just to have coffee with a friend.
We are open to any and all healing thoughts and prayers coming this way! I'm sending out blessings and and gratitude to all of you in Babble Land also.

My grandson, Ronald, was born in 2009. He is very smart, active, and busy, and has earned his 2nd degree Black Belt in Tai Kwon Do, but has decided to back off for a while.
My son is divorced, (Ronald’s mother is mentally ill); so we are very involved in Ronald's life. His mother is as involved as she's able to do be when she's stable.. Our son & grandson lived with us for 4 years; they moved in June, 2020 because it was time (our son has very different political, religious, and societal views than we do & all of us needed a break since Covid made it all much worse). Our son & Grandson moved about an hour away 2 months ago; he bought a house on 11 acres of land & the City Boys are learning country life is a lot different than how he grew up! Our daughter lives about 15 minutes away from us.

Irregular People by Joyce Landorf Heatherley helped me realize that there are people in this world who we have to deal with even though they are broken and constantly cause us pain.

Life can be a challenge; but it's also full of goodness if we remember to look for it. Let's keep going!
