starting off hard with this corner S, yikes
african country and the former name of an island nation in the grid (two of 'em, very far apart, geographically)
mali
that's one i didn't see!
only have two from there: sa 5 and an sa 6 that rhymes with our Christmas morning cocktail
oh well i had the other one - s + iz4
so that works out well
ty hurshy
now for the a on the other corner
am6 having no ethical orienting system
just have an am 6 that describes the cockwomble
oh that weird babblet aa5
ot coming up with an aa5
it ends with ANOTHER double vowel
ty - don't remember seeing that one before
does anyone know how to clean a key that sticks?
and please don't say buy a new laptop
have you tried googling the question
no - guess that should be my first move
yeah cause i don't know but that is what i would do
with no e and no t, this is a very difficult grid
welki so did you mean malawi then?
and samoa for the island one
nope, not samoa - yes, malawi and then there's the former name of another island country
so more than one of each thing you named lol
how geographical this grid is
Formosa?
island state in the grid too
so it is!
off for breakfast - stuck right now anyway
yeah this is pretty brutal for a grid of this size
oh, somalia, a third african country in the grid
back from my car inspection....and lunch....hello again...
No man is an island and only one state is an island.
Man, it's a thrill a minute for Penquis.
well Maine has between 4,000 and 6,000 islands.. ;oD
No, I mean only one state, is itself an island.
But technically it is a group of islands.
stalled at 30....taking a break....getting back to my very busy life....HA!
mali
any help with the aa?
aa+cons+double vowel
oh boy - found it - ty
Ah Champ! Nice to ‘see’ you again. :-)
Hi Soodle! How are you?
All good here, my friend! Hope your trip back home was smooth?
No issues at all. Oddly, once we did the pre-scan at the Dublin airport, we didn't have to clear customs in the US. Went straight to baggage claim. Easy peasy!
hi again :)
hola!
Phantom: salami
Hey Nan. @ Champ great to hear. Some sort of reciprocal arrangement betwen Ireland & the US makes travel easier.
Yes, so I should come visit you annually! #lethegoodtimesroll
Or you could come here! Not summer...you'll melt.
Ha!!! Roll on 27th February 2026. (End of mortgage -as discussed). Bring It On!!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
can anyone clue that ha 6,5,5 sequence please?
Starts with ha4/6. Then goes 5/14, 6/24, 5/14, 5/14
have the first two - but monkeys aren't coming up with the last 3
The 6/24 is a plural.
or maybe it is the first and last that I have
The ha5.14s are a plural and the second is the pork start
have them all now - ty bea and champ
wooHOO!
keep wanting marmot to be there
one of the oldest parts of Paris is there however

This was a difficult grid for a small one. Good luck everyone!
ma 6/24 please

A city in Georgia with an S in the middle
no idea molly
can't think of any cities in Georgia never mind one beginnig with ma
found it - ty
The famous Georgia city that rhymes with favorite pork product for breakfast, of course. We're going to ma5 to eat all the ba5
Didn't know there was a city by that name. Have never been to Georgia. Got to Orlando and to Mammoth Cave in Tennessee - no farther south than that
Unless you count Sun City and Palm Desert in with that
Down to 3/48. 6 sa's 7/48, and the 6-7 combo. Giving up
Yes, I'm looking for the sa.48 also.
sa + short hello + almost all of what you hang a picture on
A kind of cattle? Who knew?

NTPN: the Sausage King of Chicago
evening all
Thanks for the sa7 Molly. Night all.
abe froman!
ding ding ding
looked at the aforementioned sa7 clue and could not figure it out. of course I was thinking you hang a picture on a nail.
carla, do you have the sa5/10? probably obvious but i am so tired i cannot see it
nm finally i see it happy babbling all
ma5 with an S in the middle is described on Google as a "neighborhood" or "region" in Georgia, ma5 with a C in the middle (not in the grid) is described as a city in Georgia, and ma6/24 (which cybernan was asking about, and which has an S and a C in the middle) doesn't come up as anything in Georgia
Okay, I should have clued it "add an S to a city in Georgia". I will be sure to be more specific when cluing n the future.

hi everyone - here for the flip, but won't be around for too long -- really tired after all the gardening I did today
