this will make you laugh, nan - I am starting teaching night school this week, for adults. I attended the program orientation last week, and giggled to myself when the dean explained to the new students that, even though they are all adults, there is to be no "overt sexual discussion or school inappropriate language." Guess what my first text to teach is? Canterbury Tales!
So I will violating those rules by what, class 2? lololol

how old are these adult students?
I am so excited for this gig. The students sound so great! Last year they had a man who drove over an hour each way, three nights a week, so determined was he to finish.
The students range from late teens (19+) to 50s
The late teens might be a problem :)
I am teaching year 3 of the program, so they are mostly weeded out by my year.
whew!
I get the peeps who are so close they can taste it, and want to see it through - hooray!
