I've been in paid for a few days and can't really sleep. Found a rash this morning and went to the emergency. Turns out I have shingles.
It's early so with starting the treatment it should not be so bad.
Now I just have to wait until the drug store opens because the doctor wants me to take a dosage right away.

Being in the construction business, I can tell you that an HVAC system can be installed that provides both warm and cool air, when necessary, and does not cost the owner any more money than just providing one of those. A public building that does not provide the proper temperature for the outside temperature is archaic.

( 2 hour total.. 1 hour each way by freeway)
still, that would get pretty boring pretty fast, imo
well up side..up here ... seasons changes... so the scenery changes

Congratulats phandmd on the job you like and your short commute. I am jealous. My job is 55 miles away and over an hour drive with all the rest of the morning commuters

I think you lose a good portion of your salary driving that far to work. What with the wear and tear on your car, and gas expense.
no question about that.. we have to pay our employees for mileage
Not to mention the stress of an hour commute each way that turns into a much longer commute if the weather is bad.
We looked for something that was closer to work, but we could not afford to pay the taxes. It was continue renting or buy something further away. We chose the latter one.
That is too bad Min. You have a lower mortgage payment but higher costs to commute. Sometimes that works, most times it doesn't.
I had a realtor give me an estimate on the house. We are thinking of selling. Not happy with what she quoted, but at least it w ill not be a short sale, something I feared.
There are peeople at my job who commute 2 hrs from PA
I'm glad you are not having to do a short sale. I guess you are still with your husband. I hope that is working out. A 2 hour commute is insane.
Not sure if I will still be with after we sell the house.I am hoping it will be my opportunity to gain my freedom. We will see though. Could take awhile for the house to sell.

I know divorce happens all the time, but still sad when it happens to you. When you get married, you think it's for life. I'm glad U don't regret your freedom. Hope I don't.

the first year is the toughest minver.. but then it gets easier. I have worked a lot on myself to get through all the stress and headaches of it and come out a stronger person
