especially because sometimes my puter does recognise the phone, and sometimes it doesn't.
if you click on device manager and then look for universal serial bus controllers and click on the little arrow next to it and see if there is a yellow exclamation mark. that will tell you if something is wrong or not
and then you should be able to right click the exclamation mark and trouble shoot it.
when you click on the little arrow all the USBs should come up as a list and if one of them has a yellow exclsmation mark on it that could be your camera one plugged in and not being recognized.
yeah I tried that too. It doesn't help. It says then that the problem is that the device is not working properly. It is. Grrrrr.

Yes, although I must decide on the size. TV is not a big part of my life so I do not want a huge screen in my LR. I was looking at 29 - 32 inch screens. I will look at my choices.
