Do you all use dictionaries or something?? Are you all Scrabble devotees?
Not that I'm a top scorer or anything even close to that .... I only use an online dictionary to check the words the puzzle accepts that I've never heard of ;P
you mean you see a word in the puzzle that looks like it might be a REAL word and so you type it in to said dictionary to see if you are right??
I'll type in letters that look like they might be a word. If it is then the puzzle will accept it and add to my list. Then I can click on the "?" next to the word to get the meaning.
*after trying a few more unsuccessfully... if it makes you feel better: when i stop for the night, you can usu. multiply it by 3 or 4 and get the poss. # of words for the day. the words can be so hard to see, even when i know 'em!
eyezzz- But how does that help you find more words? I have one or two now that I have no clue what their meaning is.
4t8- I'm not sure I understand what you said....multiply what number by 3 or 4?

Oh, that doesn't help me find the words. I was just saying when I use the dictionary. Sometimes people give clues here and that helps me find the words. Sometimes it's just blind luck ;)
oh i am an addict! clicked back before logging off for the night. :D if i end the night at 1000 or 600/1200 whatever, there are usually 3000, 1800/3600 words to be found. (i generally blab them) this one's hard, so i'm not betting on over 2500...btw, where are you at now bulldog?

Well I've just started with the longest words I could find (and thanks for clues in the log everyone) rather than my usual 4s, so after twelve words I have an impressive set of stats: 12/7.08/600 - (three 8s, seven 7s, one 6) Now to look for the short words and reduce that 7.08 average! LOL!

Most of the a words are on the obscure side. Might try just making things up as you go and see what happens. ;)

yiddish head - yes - there is a person/people who have a program that runs "stats" - they will appear in the log - I don't think they have been on lately - they tell you how many possible words, points, words starting with which letter, etc. To see all words found, u can click on archives and look at the previous day/s' puzzle/s. Was that confusing?
