I have a large green bin and a food caddy to leave out now they are introducing a black bin as well.
That is nothing compared to some people. They have about five bins they have to leave out.
It is all to do with recycling.
We have a grey bin for rubbish, a green box for bottles, cans and cardboard, a white bag for plastic and a green food caddy - you have to pay if you want garden rubbish taken, in which case that would be another green bin
recycling is good, a pain in the tush, but a good idea if you have places that actually recycle

Yes my sister has about the same in Oxford, Matty.
Bins make me mad!! They provide us with a huge black bin for household waste, a huge green bin for plastics glass etc. but most of us around here are old and it isn't easy to drag a bin out. Neither do we have that much waste. Why didn't they think and save money by providing half size bins. We also have a food caddy and a green box for paper I'm lucky I have a side gate but some people have to drag them through the house., And a street full of them looks so ugly. That's my rant for the day!!!
Hello, Deeha :-) They are providing a service here where if you pay £52 for the year they will come to your doorstep and empty the bins and put them back otherwise like you say you have to take them to the roadside.
Although I do remember a time when the dustbin men would go into your back garden and take the rubbish away. That has long gone now.
We also have green bags for garden waste we have to pay £40 a year for that. Then they compost it and sell the compost!!Money for old rope!!
I can hardly get out of my back door for recycling receptacles!!
My sister has a red,blue green and a black bin plus the food caddy.
Plus you can be fined if you put the wrong rubbish into the wrong bins!
My husband drove a dustlorry and one lorry had to wait behind till 6 in case anyone phoned to say their bin had been missed.

Yes, you have to refresh a page when it is old and unusable. Seriously people, don't leave Lickety up when it has not updated. That does you no favors.
Febreeze is great. I have a friend who has three cats and her house smells like a litter box. I would love to get her a monthly subscription to Febreeze.
