A little annoyed today. I use a mobility transport service to get to the gym 3 times a week. They let me know last week that I had to renew my registration before July 1, they ask for 2 months notice. I never heard about it and didn't even know it expired.So, I am stuck at home today and have to go to their office tomorrow to let them see I am still disabled.
Thankfully, there is another service I can use to get to their office. It costs a bit more.
I could go to the gym but it would cost me $9 each way.
What a pain!How can they ask for 2 months notice and give you a few days!That's not cheap.Do you have to pay to get into the gym?
I have a yearly membership. And, I have used this service for 10 years and they didn't even send out a reminder.
I have a feeling a few seniors get caught too. They seemed to be busy with appointments this week.
That's so frustrating, sukee! You would think they could set reminders of expirations automatically. Unless they had a computer meltdown, then all bets are off!
It is, and the woman I talked to was not helpful at all. Said "you'll have to find your own way here" I mentioned it to a driver and she was rolling her eyes about the whole thing :)

Ooo, customer service people that are not service minded is one of my pet peeves. I've gotten to the point of "you're not helpful, I'm done with you!" It actually comes out as - "okay, thanks, you've answered my questions, I'll call back if I have any more, goodbye." Hangup, and then call back hoping for a different person.
Unfortunately, she is the only person you can talk to about registration :) The driver said to call the supervisor and complain.
I will certainly let my feelings known tomorrow.
