i really don't understand what is happening with don. like right now he is talking, drinking and eating, and no cough at all. no wheeze, nothng.
He's upright - not lying down. That always makes it worse.
then out of the blue he starts coughing like there's no tomorrow. last time he nearly went blue. i had to stand beside him and talk him through it.
was just about to ask, is he sitting up?
liz, at night he sleeps straight through, only coughing if he gets up to go to the loo.

when I have a bad cold, it goes like that for me too. At some point everything is so irritated, the least bit of stress or more intense breathing sets of a coughing fit. As long as I breathe evenly, or while eating/drinking, all seems to be well.

yeah exactly. We have this stupid show here called Funniest home videos. The guys here laugh their asses off. I sit there dry-eyed and with a stiff face and I wince every time someone hurts themselves. So not funny.
we have the same sow. i cannot watch it. watching small tots hurting themselves is not my idea of funny.
and the idea of their parents not preventing it, but actually stimulating it for the sake of a 'funny' vid. It pisses me off.

went to a pl4.9 -ing match today. Watched the heavy horses pl.......then walked round all the other stalls etc when we got back the orses had gone and a large area was cordoned off with police tape. It seems a pl4.9 had dug up a WW2 bomb!! The bomb disposal were there and did a co nrtrolled explosion. It was quite sall so assume the old bomb was past its sell by date!!
