I get up & out of bed in the mornings, but after working evenings & nights for 40+ years, my brain isn't very sharp until I have a few cups of coffee (I did finish my nursing career working days for 5 years, but I made my own schedule so didn't do much of the "thinking stuff until later in the day).
my husband worked 4-midnight for 30 years, and still gets up at the crack of noon.
