My Grandma had an old fashioned nut grinder: it was a bright green square glass jar with a double toothed grinder screw- on top that you poured the nuts into it & turned the handle -with your RIGHT hand (I'm a lefty) and it would chop the nuts as you turned the handle. I had trouble using it since I was always turning it with either the wrong hand or backwards.
