The simple one, Molly, is it EP?

Ah found the easy one EN4 lol
Thank you, MrsWhisk12 :-)
And that word has been in the grid so many times before..tsk!
now for the wacky one :-)
I get the feelig I am going to be here some time haha!
Feeling*
I've been here for an hour and I'm only halfway!
I have managed to get 116 words but nothing bigger than a seven letter so far.
I've got an 8 but it was only by accident!
Nice going!
This should of been a grid for valatines day with LO4 & CU5 in it lol
lol
Lard
Morning all. May I have stats, please for any of the Rs in the upper right corner?
Hello Suz and ty; I missed that one but nothing bigger than 7
Hello Matty
Hiya Ruby! how are you today?
ra7/32 and I'm fine, thank you
It is foggy here and dank
Aaah, obvious when it's pointed out - thank you!
It's bright and sunny here, but chilly
The snowbirds/friends from elsewhere are here to ski but, alas (for them) no snow!
Hello babblers :-)
Thank you for the RA7, Ruby. As I had the RA6 lol Should of known to put another letter on the end!
((zzoozz))

I have a TE7 that is like..in macdonalds I would like a RE7 sized drink please not a large. But this starts with a T
If that makes any sense lol
sorry not really
Instead of a wonderful day, it was just a re7 old day. Now make it a T word.
Thank you, Molly :-)

I have a 8 & 9 but not the other 8
I can clue you if needed, ruby.
plz, zooz
I have 128 words but it is really slow going already!
AN9 is compound word. Against + stories in a book.
If these grids were easy to do, I don't think as many people would keep coming back day after day.
OU8 not in + PT of jumped up into the air.
Does that make us all masochists?
That is very true, Molly. It is good these grids have some bite to them :-)
hello all - i have the ou8 - what are the stats for the other please
thank you zooz
Sorry, Ursh, I too am looking for that one!
Hello Urshy
Near freezing here, Ruby. brrr!
co8/50
Thanks, Molly.
Another ridiculous word, courtesy of Enable, the out dated word list
Ah that means it will be a morewords word for me at some point then lol
I don't believe that anyone finds the crazy, weirdly spelled, out dated words without help Zoom.
It's 53 degrees here. What happened?
Mild winter, mild winter, mild winter
I do fluke some which is nice but on the whole I would need some help at some point!
Enjoy it while it lasts, Bichon!
LOL I still do that..although it is rather nippy today though.
Okay I need to go and get something to eat. Happy babbling everyone!
I have nbt and nbs + 97 words.
Good morning Ruby.
I'll be back later to see if any clues have turned upin the chog
((sukee)) How are you doing? Exhaustedfromthe Holiday?
Not so bad, didn't do that much over the holiday.
How are you?
Did anyone hear about fights that broke out in Malls across the US?
This year was much better than last year, when husband and I were both so sick!
No bich, but I'm not surprised.
((bichon)) no, I didn't hear that
Well, I'm been a bit under the weather and was not 100%
Saw it on CNN this morning. Staying away from large crowds is the sane thing to do
There was a "fake news" report on Twitter that Britney Spears had died! The world is going crazy!
Sigh, bad enough with the people who are actually dying.
These fake news reports are getting out of hand
It is really tempting to just stay in the house
Even though some don't trust mainstream media, I still trust them over Twitter and Facebook that is for sure :)
Exctly, Sukee. At least they don't inttentionally misreport and lie
Trust no one as Fox Mulder says
Strangely enough, I also trust TMZ to report deaths. They pay people off to troll the hospitals.
I only trust my babblee friends, other friends (here and there) and family
:)
What is TMZ?
It is a celebrity website, pretty tacky but they seem to get the deaths right.
nbt
Anyway, doing laundry today. Back to real life.
Speaking of which, I had heard of George Michael, but didn't know his music. Wrong generation, I guess
You and me both ruby
Really? I like a few of his songs.
I was big into 80s music :)
I was surprised to learn that my doctor/friend Françoise, who is 61, likes groups like Led Zep and Deep Purple. Funny!
I was big into 50's music
<-- loved disco (shameful)
I have always been big on music, love the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, etc.
I liked everything, but missed pop of the 80's. Where was I??????
I don't know, the 80s is one of my favorite eras. With punk and New Wave. I was especially into English music in the 80s.
It was the time I went to my most concerts. Of course, I was also into Bruce Springsteen.
I may havemy years wrong, but I used to run to punk -- X, the Police, Led Zep, the Clash
Maybe I mixed up the years and it's the 90's I missed....
Those are late 70s, early 80s.
I'm a fuddy duddy. But I do like Blue Grass, anything by CCR, cajun, zydeco
:) Love CCR
me, too
I think both husband (1962-69°) and '84, then married 1997-2016) Discouragd my interest in popular music
In between, I was a dancing queen LOL
Ah, I was single and free :) and I had a friend who was the same who came to concerts with me :)
The 80s were great, I used to go dancing every weekend.
Have to run, bbl. Have a great day if I don't see you.
I used to go to salsa clubs, both in NY and Miami
((sukee))
Hello again! May I have stats for any of the i(eye)s?

Can you guys tell me what you're seeing as my icon picture?
It's your usual one Matty, but when I look at your profile its a pic of you and your daughter....nice pic
Thanks Kallia. I spent whole minutes trying to change it to the one of me and my daughter (taken on Christmas day) but it's not playing for me. As much as I like that Halloween picture, I'm bored of it now
I'm seeing a mother/daughter icon for you.
So weird. Because I'm not. Maybe in a day or so it'll show for me. I'll try a hard refresh. Caller, please hold.
how odd. maybe I should clear my cache...you too Mattie
Ah hah! Cleared cache - that did the trick
good
Ill do it whenI can remember how lol
What browser are you using, Kallia?

Now I can start my coffeemaker, brb
Annie, I don't know how you get up and sit in front of Babble for as long as you do before benefit of coffee
Here's the lowdown..I have to wait a 1/2 hour for a certain pill to kick in. So I trained myself to do that.
I am now enjoying a good cup of coffee and a bagel.
aahhh is it Fosamax? I take it once a week
nope
oh ok :-)
my daughter and grandkids will be here this afternoon. we are going out for lunch. Brooklyn Chinatown. See you later.

Good day, Babble buddies.
hi scrabs
hiya Scrabbs & everyone!
This is my last day of vacation and I'm making the best of it.
Hi sukee and Dan.
d6,24 (the second one) please
Hi Dan
di, 6,24
Hi Scrabs
ty
Hi bichon and bubba.
hey
good morning all
DI 6 - loud noise + brand of pineapple minus first vowel
Hi wv
Guess what, bubba? I had a Weber A fx a few months ago, and have os trigonum syndrome as a result of the ankle injury. I learned a lot from the injury. 90% healed now.
thank you, thats the first di6, I need the second one
Ty WV
Scrabs, that's no fun. Do they want to excise the Os?
Not yet. I have mild pain and crepitus with plantarflexion, but I can deal with it for now.
Hopefully physical therapy will resolve the flexor longus hallucis tenosynovitis.
Deltoid ligament is healing too vs stress fx. I hiked 3 miles down a mountain with the injury. Ouch. My ortho is great.
crepitus, sounds awful
I also have dorsal pain with plantarflexion.
Wow, you're a tough one. Iwould have curled up in a ball and cried.
I feel like you guys are making up words. LOL
I am one badass, stoic chick.
Anterior impingement syndrome, probably, PT again will help.
Lol, me too poodle :)
I have not done PT yet, but I think it is time now.
I'm a wooze
Thanks for your input, bubba.
NP, get better
DI 6/24 (second one) at least on my - but don't have a list - compound word - tool used to catch fish
I nearly fainted and puked after the injury and quickly laid down, but after 10 min I got up.
Thanks wv, finished
Yay Bubba!
Ankle fractures hurt real bad, once the adrenaline stops flowing.
sounds terrible, scrabbler. wishes for full recovery
Oh, yes! First X-ray, in Adirondacks was read as negative. Swelling, pain, and tenderness persisted so I saw orthopedist 4 wks later and fracture was obvious.
seeing a good deal of microtrabecular fractures, that I would have missed if not for the MRI
Magnification of initial X-ray showed start of fx along edge of fibula.
Repeat X-ray 4 wks later had large gap in fibula--Weber A.
Problem is too many ER's treat ankle injuries too lightly with just an Ace. Most shjoule be immobilized or at least put into a Cam boot.
Hopefully filling so no delayed or non-union
I learned a lot of anatomy again, and orthopedics. Then at 8 week check, with the posterior pain and X-ray, I learned about os trigonum.
Yes, calcification is occurring.
Lots of stuff down below the knee, who would have thought???
And my ongoing problems are related to strain/sprain not the fx.
Actually both dorsi- and plantarflexion cause dorsal ankle pain.
Does take a while, I usually tell my patients 6-8 months with sprain, and 12-18 months S/P fx, especially if ORIF
I have been hiking despite the discomfort, and will soon return to XC-skiing and snowshoeing.
PT very important to get that ankle moving. Just had to scope a man who had severe synovitis because he never got he ankle moving.
I wear a Donjoy brace for those activities. I do lots of ROM.
Great, well on your way
*enjoying the ortholing
ortholingo :-)
It's more fun when one is not the patient, Dan.
Seriously..."flexor longus hallucis tenosynovitis" : O
we are paid per syllable, what do you expect
I imagine so, Scrabbs :-)
Got to go, see you on the grid!
Bye Bubba, thanks for your advice.

My GP [lots younger than me] is retiring. Sob

Doesn't that kill you, Bich? My doctor is exactly the same age as me and he is "cutting back his hours while he moves toward retirement".
For the record, I'm 52. Sob, indeed.
He's probably no older than 60. He's very much in demand. Probably wants to retire to golfing ccountry
