I am fine. Had the meeting with the morgage guy yesterday and it went very very well. He is even looking into ways to change our mortgage to a form that will cost a little less, take care of our debt to them and start us off paying towards the mortgage and not just the interest.

well they both have a sleepy side effect if taken orally or intravenously.
with your sensitivity to chemicals, I wouldn't wonder if the tiny amount that gets into your blood does have an effect. Thank the Big Guy for small favours ;)

Ryder has had terrible separation anxiety since returning from his mother's yesterday. He wants to be velcroed to me. Bedtime was awful last night.

I have been the foster mother/guardian for my grand-nephews since July 6. They are 4.5 yrs, and the younger one will be 2 tomorrow.

And, to make things worse for me, Ryder learned to climb out of his crib, so I cannot just leave him there to fuss and cry because he climbs out to find me. I wonder how much he missed me over the weekend with his mother. She said nothing to me.
Tomorrow is Family Court and I will find out if/when custody will transfer. Children's Services must be in place for daily home visits to check on the boys and mom. That gives me the most reassurance of all.
scrabbler, i would try to hold him a lot. he really is suffering. my heart goes out to him and you. but mostly to him.
who knows what the mom said or did........

I held him until he fell asleep then put him his crib. He was so scared.
our kids were out of cribs by age 15 months because they were all strong and figured it out........so we had mattresses on the floor and it wasnt easy. one son hoisted himself out at age 10 months! and we made his entire room like a massive crib and we had to lock the door. but he got the message and by 15 months he was going onto his mattress to go to sleep.
The boys see him with a caseworker for two hours once weekly.
what a sad sad thing this all is.

Ryder never had sleep problems prior to this. Last night he was no emotionally freaked out and needed me. "I need you. Hold me, Lala. I need you, Lala."
