Man, those cats take the blame for everything.
He lays all over the desk and pokes at the mouse and rolls over the keyboard. He can do stuff with the computer I don't know how to do. Like open iTunes, select and play a song and make it all disappear leaving me wondering where the music is coming from. Darn cat!
And apparently he likes ramen noodles.

And he actually does eat fancy feast. He is watching me type and I'm sure wondering how he can mess it up. If you get some mysterious messages about being held captive and fed only cat food - that would be my boy.
Interesting - we have 5 cats and one of them refuses all other food except for Fancy Feast - wonder if it the same as you get in Canada. Comes in little tiny tins with a ring top to open ?

The very idea that there is "gourmet" cat food cracks me up.
Yup. But he only likes the grilled stuff. A trifle spoiled. We lost him while on a camping trip to northern Alberta and searched for 8 days. Finally had to leave without him. 4 months later we got a call from a family. He wondered in out of the bush and ingratiated himself with the family. His tags were still intact and the family had read our lost adds posted everywhere. He lost 4 pounds and was very matted and dehydrated but bounced back quickly. Hence, we kinda spoil him.

We were totally amazed. I think he survived partly because he is allowed outdoors and likes to hunt. We had taken him all over Alberta and BC without incident. Now we leave him with family or put him in a fancy Cat hotel!
My kids have a cat that went missing for a couple of months. Everyone thought she was dead and suddenly, she turned up. Which is a good thing because they treat that cat like it is their child.
It's amazing how attached we get to our pets. We also have 2 small dogs that just as spoiled.
We treat Marco like our child. He is amenable to that.
Our dogs are shih tzu/bichon crosses. Lovely combination.

I just do the front steps and in front of the garage. I pay someone to plow the driveway. We get so much snow here that almost everyone has a snowplow guy.

Some people use one, but we might get a foot of snow one day, another foot 2 days later. etc. I lie in ski country with a ski resort across the valley. This is where the Lake Erie snow machine dumps snow regularly.

mama started the week with 2 ear infections + a fever of 102. been trudging back to life since then. bebe is fighting his second round of RSV, so we are now the proud owners of our very own nebulizer + at a mere 5 months, we're already 'roiding him up.
RSV is Respiratory syncytial virus for those of you not hep to the lingo.

apparently, RSV is what causes you to catch the cold...or bronchitis...or pneumonia...
my niece was sick a few years ago her parents said it was just a cold. my mom took her to dr and it was more then a cold

yeah, because this is the 2nd time in less than a month + hes having such a tough time breathing, she gave him an oral steroid yesterday with dose 2 today and 3 tomorrow.

Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome
MLF - we just went to the pediatrician after his cold + cough turned into a chest rattle/wheeze. a quick nasal swab told them it's RSV.
Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome. Basically, pinholes in his lungs. They couldn't process oxygen into his system any more.

basically...they were concerned it might have grown into pneumonia. but he doesnt have a fever + i guess he is responding well enough to the neb treatments that they decided it wasnt needed.

He went to the ER with flu-like symptoms, they admitted him and started pumping fluids in. Then they determined it was food poisoning (e coli), but by that time the fluids had carried it into his lungs. *shrug* That's why they call it "practicing medicine".
I don't "do doctors" very well, lol.

my husband was told he had glaucoma too but they are now saying its something different. he stopped all eye drops and doesn't do anything

If glaucoma is fund early, I think it is well-controlled with drops. Both my (late) husband and my father had it, and neither one lost any vision.
And I just have bad vision in general. But I am VERY grateful I can have my vision corrected. I feel for people who have no access to corrective lenses.
I'm "too young" (HA) for cataract surgery. But they are little and not growing much.
the only drag is when your prescription changes it's 1,00o's of bucks to redo your glasses (I am in that phase right now)

The glaucoma I have isn't related to pressure in the eye, so drops don't help. They don't know what has caused the retinal damage.

Glaucoma is most often caused by pressure. But other things can cause it also. I meant optic nerve damage, not retinal damage. Sorry.

I drove my Forester to that point, then got a Crosstrek. I will have one of these forever--perfect for me. I can get 2 kayaks or canoes on top, put my mountain bikes on the back and hit the road.
I really like mine - very sturdy and solid and both of my big beasts can fit in the back.
I was doing e-mail stuff, Eva, so left for a while.

The dictionary here seems to be equivalent to TWL98 or something around then, which was the official US competitive scrabble word list
The thing I do like, is that at least it's consistent with an official word game dictionary, a lot of word games seem to come up with their own...makes it hard to move between word games

Well, the help section of this game says that the point of the game is to find all the words YOU can find...etc. If you follow along with that...asking for clues, using web sites to find words is not...shall we say...kosher. But whatever.
yeah.. well.. .the help section doesn't give me much help on catching and passing Dart :D
The help section doesn't seem to give much guidance for being the best and the brightest.
And the way the statistics are set up, there is no way to "beat" someone who has played longer than you. (I am not a big fan of the way the statistics are set up here)

the hip one i put my finger exactly where the pain was and asked don to mark it. doc was highly amused but also grateful as he as able to find where he needed to inject quickly via the ultrasound.
