claws - I have 6xi, 4xo, 4xu Solver says 143 words 7x7, 30x6, 50x5, 56x4 but it's been pretty wrong lately. A couple days ago it was missing an 8-letter word and a couple of smaller ones for something like 65 points. So, use with caution!

Oooh - I just found 3 R words by a typo! I was trying a random combo for an E word, but somehow got the letters out of order. It accepted it, but my E word was not there. It took some searching to find the R word that I had typed and it had accepted, LOL! But then was able to get two other forms of the word as well. Yay!

jennbee - You hope we did, anyway. ;) There's a combo of 4 words, 7 letters each. Two start with 1 letter, and two start with another. They have very similar patterns. So, there are two prefixes, each used twice. Then, 4 letters that are the same among all four words (and a 4-letter word for 7 points) Then there are 2 different ending letters (making different verb forms) each used twice.

You're missing a UR. There is a 6-letter UR that is the plural of the second UR. If you're not missing that one, think ashes.
I'm an idiot, nevermind. The three US words are all different forms of the same word. Two are verb forms and one is a noun.

I'm still missing 2 U words. I have all 3 US words but think I am missing 2 UR words. The UR word I do have is the plural of a container used for funeral ashes. What are the other 2?

There's a 4 UR for 4 points and it's 6-letter plural for 18, meaning an extinct ox. Found them by random noodling.
Britneysdead - There are very few combinations of letters that can make the A word. It shouldn't take long to stumble across it if you do the math.
thanks jlm_mi, although i tend to be better at the meaning hints rather than the technical ones. Also - it took the word for ritual passover meal despite rejecting my yiddish. Who knew?

Your third E is actually the 4th E. The third E has one more letter than that one, added into the second position.

Problem is if yours are alphabetical, and I have not screwed up, it means the solver is wrong for whatever letter that 21 starts with. I think?

Yes, I got it finally. I knew what it started with, and that it contained a D somewhere. And there was the animal sounds clue earlier. But really, what does it actually mean??? I can't find it in a dictionary.
I don't know. There are a lot of words that seem to be babble-ese.

OK, if anyone wants to help me reach closer to getting them all, I'd love it. :D I'm missing 4 5-letter words and 1 4-letter word. I'm missing 1xB, 2xF, 1xR, 1xS I have 140 words for 1986 points. I'm not sure how you can help. Maybe if there is one of those words that is most rare, point me in the right direction? Or, if you also have in the vicinity of 140 words, how many points? I'll keep hunting for 30 minutes till I have to go.

how do you folks know how many words are in a puzzle and how many letters in a word?
You can plug the letters from the grid into an online puzzle solver, that will give you the stats, (and the answers), if you wanted them.

there is an r7 that is only one letter different from the r7 that you have im missing the d48 that you have how about a clue for that

runningforhome, The clue for the B word was stockmarket. I looked up stockmarket in a dictionary and got the answer. The d/44 abd r/40 are the same except for the first letter. A clue for the r/40: when you don't accept something. you r-------- it.
