I really should refresh the log before posting... having Kirsty's counts right below makes mine look really sad. :p
At 3:44am, in a list of 6s, 4t8 had four for 33 points... I still have only two of them - can we get some clues? (this is an obsession).
definitions for 6's for 33: 1. a lower class Mexican 2. select 3. trick or sham 4. place to go for an education
bigbidboss - thanks for the clues - I have the first two, I need a cuppa before I attack 3 and 4.
What does the trick/sham word start with?
These ARE the four words starting with C, right???
No, they are not, clue 4 does not start w/ a C.
Aaaaargh... 4t8 has four C6/33 (3:44am)
There are 5x6/33 c`s.
THE c WORD FOR TRICK OR SHAM IS A VERY OLD ENGLISHY WORD.
Sorry - blasted caps lock!

i have found one 8: s/70
There's a D-7 for 32/D-8 for 45, and an L-7 for 28.
137/2001. just returned and see there's quite a bit of searching to do.
Wendrie - does your chart show you have 23/Cs, and of these six are six-letter words, each worth 33 points?? That's SIX words starting with C, each worth 33 points?? I'm not playing tomorrow - this is becoming a serious obsession, instead of a game.
am a little confused - the 5th 6-c is a place to go for an education? because that's also the s-6/s-8...if anyone can help. i just found the one but not the other. thank you...
and i just got the other 33 - it apparenly hasn't got! a definition.
Christine, i have 22 c's. 5 are 6's.
make that 23 - just found a 5.
Arlo Guthrie would be very ticked to know that "mooses" isn't a valid word. ;-)
May I have a clue for the C/48, please?
*sigh* I just can't see C words today ....
There are two C's for 48 and one C for 52 that I do not have. Any help would be much appreciated :).
C 48 is a letter added onto one of the 7 / 33 words
I don't have any 7/33 words :(
I found a 7/48, I added a letter to a 6/33.
there's 3 C 7/48s, and the 52 is one letter different from the second 48 (the one that means in Old English "to cheat, trick, defraud")
oops! I'm sorry, I meant 6 / 33 *blush* its late here ...
Three of the 48's are one letter more than three of the 6/33s.
periwinkle, the other C7 for 48 begins with the same three letters as the other, that you made by adding a letter to your C6 for 33. Hope that helps.
Thanks for your help, I now have 2 c/7's for 48. The cheating word, I had never heard of. I looked it up in my crossword dictionary.
I have the D8 for 45. Could someone tell me what the 8 for 70 starts with? Thanks :)
Got the C for 52, Thanks again. :)
mulhermujer, A post at 2:56 pm says that the 8/70 starts with an S. Sure would like a definition cause I can't find it. :)
Starts with a S. I'll start looking. Too bad I can't make 'sesame.'
the S 8/70 is related to the S 6/33
mommanine, Thanks so much, don't know why I didn't find that one by myself. :)
Me no have a S6 for 33. Me try looking harder.
Bugs me that 'mosh' is not accepted. Haven't these people ever been to a Pearl Jam concert?
mulhermujer, The S/6/33, where you go to learn.
Ah, jeez, I have that. But I didn't see it when looking through my S words. Thanks.
I have it now. Thanks all.
i think the c-7-48 is related to the 6th c i don't have...have the picky and tricky ones
I have 2 C-7-48s, one related to the picky one and one to the tricky one.
me too...trying to find the c-6/"place to go for an education". so missing it and the 3rd c-7.
4t8: trade? place to go for an education starts with Sch... What is a hint for the o for 40?
