There must be at least 150-200 words, because I never get more than half, on my first run-through, and so far, I have 61 words for 778 points.... nine 6s, three 7s, but only one 8. Back this evening... this wild social life is REALLY cutting into my babble time!

Well I have 96 words for 1382, I hoped someone with over 100 would post stats! Anyway here's what I have: A - 10 D - 2 E - 5 F - 3 G - 4 H - 3 O - 2 Q - 2 R - 7 S - 26 T - 13 U - 1 w - 18 That includes one 8 for 40, five 7s (44, 44, 28, 32, 28) and sixteen 6s.
I just found an online solver and it says 108 words for this grid. Kukana, thanks for posting your counts. I only have 91 words, but if it helps you, I have a few more in these categories: D x 3 G x 5 O x 3 U x 2
I have 4 F's. 3 for 7 pts and 1 for 8 pts.

OK, that f for 16 is driving me crazy. It seems like it has to be a 5 but I have tried every possible combo of letters and can't find it.

The F for 16 IS a 5. I got it through random letters - no definition, but sounds EXACTLY like another word you will have - just spelt differently!

marigold - my four F words point values are, in order, 5, 4, 4, 4. There must be a fifth F word if you have only four F's, all worth four points. (Say that ten times fast :)

I'm sorry, not point values, but how many letters they have.
The point values are 5 for 16 4 for 8 4 for 7 4 for 7. There, that should make more sense.
It really bugs me that this game will not accept 'fest.'

The 5 for 16 F word does not have a definition in the Dic.com. Otherwise I could pass along a hint. Oh, it does NOT start Fo.
That 5 for 16 f word sounds like another 4 letter f word in the puzzle which means costs
Marigold, for the F16, think DUES - I'm sure you already have that word - now, think of a different way to spell it. It has no definition in this dictionary, just one of those things that the Babble-Lord likes to toss our way.

Christine, My 7's are S- 44 stuff you find on a beach S- 44 related to drainage S- 28 plural of a 6, related to Hindu funerals T- 32 T- 28 both of these are based off a T- 5, a very common word -- something that goes hand in hand with love

As some one said, when you know what it is, the word just jumps at you.. Thanks MammaJill, I didn't have the 'beachy' word..... in Southern California, the second word applies to what's found on the beach... yeccch. Do you know if there's more than one 8?
clue for stuff on the beach: in northern california, we had these onion/palm-like things that we'd jump on - water would leak out. sometimes this word is good in soup, too. thanks MammaJill.
