yes, a highly productive one. Thom's Place luncheon, where i started with a basic beef and veg soup, ladled off 2 serves for one attendee as she doesn't like red kidney beans or pasta, then added the bean, ladled off another 2 serves for someone else who doesn't like pasta, then cooked up the rest with the pasta to make minestrone soup. what a mind-stretcher that was.
then don showed some pics of Sangradia familia in barcelona and he vicar loved them so much that we had to stop each pic while she explained the meaning of this or that.

*giggles* i don't know about that. i was telling her about visiting canterbury Cathedral, HQ for anglicans all over the world. when i told her the boss, i.e. the Archbishop of Canterbury wasn't home, she just buried her face in her hands and laughed and laughed.
all quiet here. Stew was a huge success. Rob and I went for a short canoe trip yesterday and enjoyed it very much, then in the evening visited with our neighbours and caught up with them after their holiday. Was very enjoyable. Ohhhh and they have won tickets to the Lion King musical and they cannot go, plus they have already seen it... and we get the tickets!Q

yeah if you can't google it..it doesn't exist. I've been insulted in this chat (for sport I imagine) on more than one occasion and Im tired of it.
I actually haven't seen people insulting people all that much lately.. maybe I'm not here enough
and if you don't chat..then you must be lurking. even tho engaging in reasonable conversation is impossible
don't look at me.. I didn't coin the phrase "lurking".. People just comment that they "Lurk" all the time in the chat. I don't really care if people don't want to chat.. that's up to them.
sometimes I just play the game and don't chat because I don't feel like chatting, but I don't consider it "lurking"

there are "lurkers" who watch the chat waiting for the opportunity to create trouble and start something. it goes both ways. There is a lot of hypocrisy in this forum.
I "lurk" because I have had a stroke and typing is not the easiest for me to do. Just saying!

I love keeping up with everyone in the chog, but it takes awhile to respond. So I just read. Thanks for your sympathy ruru but my stroke could have been a whole lot worse. I am blessed beyond words that no more damage was done.

I have completed physio India. I have good use of everything, just slow typing and sloppy writer.

I find that more often than not, I start to chat, then leave the computer for a while. Feels like I'm being rude if I'm on and off quickly, so lots of times won't even bother. Don't want someone looking for me and thinking I'm ignoring them.
